Perfect height, not too short and not too long (I am 5'3) and had one pair of Hunter boots that came up to my knee which didn't work for my height...and have lots of shorter boots but this medium-taller height is nice.

I am 7.5C. Hoka One One Size 7, Brooks Size 8, Nike Size 7.5 or 8. I bought size 8. Wear thick socks and there is a little wiggle room around the ankle but size 8 is correct size. Easy to get off and put on. Waterproof.

I ordered an 8 based off that’s what I normally buy when there are only whole sizes. Fits perfectly and seems to be a well made rain boot, only time will tell. I don’t see any Hunter socks that go with this boot and I think I would need to go up a size if I were to use them as there isn’t a whole lot of room for socks and the rain boot sock insert. I can’t see myself just going barefoot in them in any case, just my preference. I do want to try and add a Sherpa foot insert, but I am concerned about how tight that will make the boot as well. In any case they are a good 3 season rain boot and I would purchase again.

Too Big. Love these boots, but had to reorder a size smaller. I’m an 8.5, so I originally ordered a 9. Even with super thick socks, my feet were swimming in the 9s. I reordered in size 8, and they fit perfect, even with super thick socks! Can’t wait for the rain this weekend!

Okay, so I’m a 8,8.5 and took I chance on the 8, it was so perfect. I had on double layer socks when I tried these on and I was so happy with the fit, not tight or binding, absolutely perfect! These are super comfy and I personally love the sole better than the other sole( I don’t have or tried the other) I just prefer a more Ugg flat bottom. Super fit, cute and comfy, sized perfect for thicker socks , and honestly the look great with all sorts of outfits( dresses or leggings or jeans). Hunter boot socks work perfect with these, I know cause I bought those too :)

Hunter Original Play Tall, these boots are everything I expected.

I had a recent surgery & had a skin graft on my foot. I needed larger hunter boots to wear for ease getting in & out of & to wear extra pair of thick socks to protect my skin graft on my foot. The pairs of hunter boots I already owned wouldn’t work to accommodate my injured foot. These new ones were just right. I bought a size up & it gave me the extra space around my foot as well as being easy to slip my foot into. I’m happy I can be in my garden again & take care of my foot as well. I’ve been a fan of Hunter boots for years. Great quality & styles.

These fit vey differently than the Classic Short Hunters. For starters they are taller by 1 3/4” which I actually love because I am too short to wear the tall style, so these are a great compromise, just be aware that these may hit you right at your calf as they do for me, and they just barely fit my calf. The foot area is not as fitted and I feel that these have less arch support than the Classic style. The tread is slightly less rugged. The rubber is a little softer than the Classic style. What I love is the added height, the vivid red color. Have found that I need to wear a slightly lighter boot sock with these, whereas with my Classic Shorts I was always able to wear a cushioned hiking sock. It took a few days of debating of whether to keep these, but in the end I’m glad I did, they are comfortable and the gorgeous red adds a little pop of color on rainy days. Have received many compliments.

I have small feet (wear size 5 to 5 1/2) and many brands of outdoor boots and clogs like these start at size 6 AND run large, which just doesn't work for me. I specifically chose Hunter because they offer size 5 and from past experience, I knew they would fit. Though the 5 still runs a little large, it's within the range that I can wear. These boots fit well, look good, and are comfortable to wear all day when working outside.

Fits true to size and fairly comfortable. Only con is that the insert often slips out when you take the boots off.

I ordered this in my regular size 8. I had to return for a size 7 and they fit perfect. Believe the reviewers who say this boot runs large. Now that I have the correct size, I love them!

Love these boots! I’m 5 feet tall so the original tall boots hit right at my knee and they don’t work. This is a great alternative and are taller than the original short boots.

So glad I got them and for the price! Love the red touch on the tag looks great with a red flannel ??

Great option for anyone who, like me, finds to taller Hunters too tall and/or narrow.

I wear a size 8 but after reading the reviews I decided to get a size smaller & glad I did it fits perfect.

I was very disappointed in the quality of these. I bought them only 5 months ago and the rubber is peeling off. I thought they were cute and funcional before, but they are neither cute nor functional now that they are falling apart. I expected way better quality for the price and will not buy Hunter again.

These are really beautiful boots. My calves aren't huge, but they are tight and don't go up completely. They seem high quality. I wear a size 8, and I personally have a wide toe box. I ended up ordering a size 9 due to zappos selling the last pair of 8s right before I purchased. They fit perfectly, but have the tiniest bit of extra length that would accommodate a thicker sock, but my calf seems to thick for that. Overall, I love the boots.

I’m happy i purchased it been wanting this sooo long. It’s very comfy and smooth when I’m walking. will be buying another color.

Rubber boots are not usually comfortable, but these are! I have both the low and the higher versions of this boot.

I really loved these but the "Play" version is a little less structured than the mid-calf style I'm used to. I LOVED the color, and feeling more support for my feet.

Love these so much more than the original hunters. These are wide calf friendly and still gives you height. I love the mini platform and overall shape of the boot. I’m usually a 9.5 but I always order a 10 in boots. The 10 is perfect for me.

Based on other reviews, I ordered a size 8 (normally wear an 8, or 8 1/2 if they run small). Size 8 fit but was snug (both width and length) and would not have been comfortable when walking for any period of time. Exchanged for a size 9, which fit better - leaves a bit of room for heavier socks, and height not to tall for a short girl! Very cute!

FINALLY the perfect Hunter rainboot! I don’t love the heel on the original style, this solves that issue. These don’t rub my calves either! Hurrah! I found the sizing accurate, unlike others who say it runs large. Mmmm not really. Looking forward to breaking these out next time it rains for sure. Love that they are mid range height, between tall and short variety. FINALLY! A winner. These are stylish, functional galoshes. I got Kombu color and it’s perfect. Not too black not too blue.

This is my 3rd pair of Hunter Boots and you can’t go wrong. So stylish and comfortable.
