very good!!

Wear 7 1/2 in shoes, so ordered a 7 in this boot - fits well. Great look (so stylish) and comfortable to walk in.

I ordered both the Hunter Chelsea Boots and the Original Play Boots. I returned the Chelsea Boots and kept these. These are significantly easier to get on and off than the Hunter Chelsea boots (significantly). These do run slightly big so if you are in between sizes go down to your next full size.

These rain boots are stylish and functional. I love the look of this ankle rain boot.

These boots are great! So easy to slip on and I love feeling a bit taller. I wore the tall hunter boots for the past 12 years , but decided on the shorter boots because they are easier to pack for trips, more comfortable to drive in and overall more comfortable to wear. If I walked in tall prairie grass everyday , I would stick with the tall , but I don’t. I wear an 8 or 8 1/2 and the 8 fits .

Exactly what I needed, in a hurry, for a March Minnesota spring outing that included lots of melting snow and mud. Lots of mud. With my thick calves, the taller rubber boots do not fit. These were perfect, and worn with wool socks, very comfortable and kept my feet dry and warm.

Cute and comfy! I love these boots! I purchased my typical shoe size and they fit great. They are slightly roomy, which is perfect for thick winter socks. However, they are perfectly fine with my thinner socks. After reading reviews about the pull tab coming off, I make sure not to tug on the tab too much- just in case. I’m able to pull the boots on despite my generous size ankles and calves without using the tab. These are awesome little boots that look great with jeans and leggings. I think they are a nice alternative to the tall boots you see everybody wearing.

True to size, very comfy, and height hits just right around ankle. Though completely different style, these are my second pair of Hunters (other pair is low garden shoe--also recommend) and worth the money as this brand resists the dry rot that has claimed my other (designer name, very pricey) boots.

I have yet to wear them in the rain, but they are cute and comfy so far!

I look for any excuse to wear my rain boots.. Did order size down 8; I usually am 8 1/2 - 9 in most ladies athletic shoes. Use two hands to pull on boots - read the reviews about tab coming off.

These fit the same as my tall hunters. I’m typically a 6.5 and a 6 fits great. I’m also able to wear my orthotics in the shoe with a medium weight sock. I bet they’d still be comfortable without the orthotic thanks to the slight incline in the heel.

I got compliments on the style the first day I wore them! They are comfortable to wear right out of the box.

I didn't like the color. Too blue.

Love love love. Bought my mother in-law a pair. Will buy again. I had the tall ones and they were hard to pull off. The short ones are great. Can wear them all day.

Have loved my tall Hunter rain boots for many years and was looking for a shorter pair to provide greater versatility and ease of wear. The Hunter Original Play Short delivers! They are very comfortable and provide more arch support than I had anticipated. I'm extremely pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend this style to others.

I was nervous to purchase these because of the price. I mean, $100 for rain boots?! Well, I ended up using 2 discounts and got a really good deal at $54.85, so I went for it. I'm glad I did. My normal shoe size runs betwen an 8 1/2 and a 9. These actually fit me really well in a size 8! I'm glad I read reviews! The fit is slightly narrow in the foot, however, I have a pretty wide calf and these fit my calves nicely (with leggings). Some types of boots can be tough for me to get into, so I was delighted to find that these were quite easy for me to slide on! The trick is to USE THE PULL TAB! Overall, a great looking and comfy rain boot. Also, I did choose to get classic black, but I have to give Hunter credit for making them in fun colors!
