Very Lightweight. It feels llike you're barefoot. The tip of the shoes is quite thick compared to the other parts of it!which makes it slightly rub my big toe. It does bother me a bit when I put it on, but as I start exercising I forget about it.

I’m sure this is a great shoe; just not what I thought for lots of activity.

Barefoot/minimalist shoes have saved my feet. Merrell makes great ones. This model is very comfortable but runs just a wee bit small. After wearing them for a day, my toes seem to end up at the end of the shoe. I will be trying a half size larger next time.

Shoe might have been true to size or a little small. My problem with this one is that they fell apart too quickly. Merrell is a GREAT company and I have a lot of shoes from them. If I'd taken the time, I feel like I could have asked for a refund/replacement. This shoe is a 0-rise and perfect for what I was wanting.

Toe box a little narrow. Side of big toe rubbed against side. Couldn't go larger - didn't need more length. Shoe doesn't have any arch support.

There seems to be a subtle change in the size and shape of the toe box that makes my usual size fit a bit big and my foot slides while wearing this shoe. I've been wearing the vapor gloves or pace gloves for about 10 years. The vapor glove 4 is the only shoe I've run in from Merrell that I had issues with. I've only worn them a handful of times trying to break them in, both running and walking, but I get pain in the arches of my feet after wearing them for any length of time. I would recommend the brand to anyone interested in Merrell products because my experience is probably not what others have/will experience.

These shoes would have been great except they did not fit. I am usually a 7.5 in Merrel shoes, but this particular shoe that was not the case. I am likely needing a whole size larger. It's bizarre because the trail glove fit perfectly without needing to break in. I figured these shoes just needed to be broken in and that was not the case for these shoes. Def consider sizing up, these shoes are much smaller than one may expect.

I loved these when I first got them, but it's been three months and the middle of the forefoot on my right shoe has completely worn away (I can stick two fingers through it) and the left isn't far from it. I do wear them regularly, but not in harsh conditions so I thought they'd last longer. These are my first minimalist shoe so maybe that's normal???

I really debated returning this shoe. I still call them my duck foot shoes & found it took me a week to learn how to walk in them. Now, I enjoy flexing my toes in the shoes & gripping the terrain as I walk.

Too small. Was told they ran large but not on my feet.

Like the shoes overall. Returning to go up a half size. Ordered 9.5 as I do with athletic shoes but going to need a 10.

I ordered these in black thinking it was a combo of blacks and grays. It's actually dark greens, like dark jungle camo. Cool if that's the look you are going for, but I was looking for true black so I returned them.
I normally wear a size 10.5 but 10 fit better. I have a narrow foot.

I bought these in my usual Merrell size (women's 10) and have never had a problem in sizing with Merrell before but these were just too dang short. The toes on my left foot jam into the front of the shoe with every step. I bought them through a deal at work and I can't return them, so I now have a brand new pair of cute as heck barefoot shoes that I can't wear. Pretty disappointed, but I'm sure it's a great shoe, just not great sizing.

I have had two pairs of this model and they are great. I bought the Charcoal/Syrah and they are a bit flimsy compared to my others. I loved the color combo, but the fit is off. Merrell's are my favorite shoe brand!

Compared to previous models these were not nearly as comfortable out of the box, seemed slightly bigger and less flexible. I'd take the 3s over these any day.

Shorter than expected -- my toes touched the end of the shoe, and I have short toes! Larger size would have been too large. Kept them because I'd worn them but won't be able to wear them for any length of time, I'm afraid.

I cannot say enough good things about Merrell. I have a huge arch, planters fasciitis, and need wide toe splay. I run a lot. Mostly track/street. These are the only shoes that do not give me numb toes, worsen my planters, or ball pain. Once I switched to Merrell all my sore foot pain from running minimized. These are super comfy and I have been enjoying them! That said, the plastic material is already shredding after a month of use. So please keep making these just as they are, but use a more durable top material! Thanks!

I purchased this product and it runs smaller by one full size than expected.
Also, looking for a walking shoe without the cap top feature and it is too hard. The big toe feature sticks out and unattractive.
I will return same day as shipped but also no return instructions in packaging.

I've had these for about 2.5 weeks and I wore them twice, each for a quick 5K run, and the exterior seam on the side of left one has pulled away from the shoe. I took a picture but it doesn't appear that I can upload it here. Unfortunately, I expect these to be unwearable very soon. Disappointing because they're comfortable and have a wide toe box.

Someone else mentioned in their review that the fit of these is "sloppy" and I think that is an apt description. They are really thin, with not much support on the top of the shoes. The toe box is wide and square, which causes the shoe bend/bunch up. I think if they had a little more structure to the toe box I would have kept them for activities like the river where a thin, breathable, quick drying shoe would be nice. The foot bed was comfortable. But there is just too much bunching of the toe box fabric so they look kind of funny for every day wear so I will have to return them.

I typically like Merrell shoes. I ordered a size 9 as usual and they are too short but the width is normal. I wore them once and hate them but can't return because they're worn. I still like this brand. Recommending folks look for a different shoe. Weird fit!

I purchased the correct shoe size, but the fit was too loose and roomy in the toe area, and most critically the footbed fit turned my foot inward actually affecting my gait. Close to the ground contact, but shoe material was stiff. Had to return.

My whole family has been a fan of Merrell shoes for many years, all being gifted with super high arches. I guess I should have taken the name of this shoe -- glove -- more literally. The design -- minimalistic and super lightweight -- doesn't allow for any arch support whatsoever so I may as well just wear socks. I should have paid more attention when they call it a barefoot shoe: I could feel every pebble and crack under my feet, even though I was treading very lightly (thanks to the nonexistent arch support). Might be okay for just wearing inside around the house, barring any Lego owners, but not practical for anything outside my door. Also, I ordered black to be more universal but the colors are more olive drab, so they look like they're camouflage print.

Within a month and a half of wearing these the rubber side near the toe area began to separate from the shoe. I had seen reviews and knew this was an issue with the Vapor Glove 3s but thought it had been resolved. I tried using Shoe Goo to fix it but had mixed results and found it messy. So I then used Super Glue which was a mistake as now there is a hard spot in the shoe making it uncomfortable to wear. Disappointed in these but I will say they helped tremendously with PF I developed last spring and which was why I turned to minimalist shoes in the first place. I could feel my feet and legs being strengthened as I walked in these. May try the Trail Gloves - hope they are more durable.
