I like the colors of this iteration of Merrills, and found the shoes to be instantly comfortable. I wore them around the yard the first day, just to make sure they wouldn't rub strange, and went for an 8-mile run/hike the next. They were perfect - comfortable, no rubbing, still minimal with a slightly thicker sole that I find good for trail running.

First time wearing “barefoot” shoes. Absolutely love these shoes. Great for my Fit Camp classes/burpees. Down sized about a half size due to it forming the foot more. You don’t really need a lot of space at the toe.

I have been waiting for Merrels to come out with a good barefoot technology shoe that would hold up like my Merrels of old. I think this shoe is it. Wide toe box, sole of she is two pieces of rubber instead of 5, appears to be a durable fabric outside. If they hold up, I will love them!!!

I run in Vibram toe shoes and do not like stiff soles where you can’t feel the ground in any shoe. These are awesome! They are cute, can be run in or worn around town and require no breaking in. I put them on right out of the box and ran 6 miles in them and no hot spots or blisters. I am taking them to Italy to wear daily on my trip with leggings, jeans, skirts, etc. The black light camo is really cute and the camo is not that noticeable. They run narrow and a half size small from your true shoe size. Buy them!

I wear women’s 11 and bought these for all gym activity. For reference if you wear other “barefoot” lines, the merrell “gloves” are more snug and more structured than the vivobarefoot products. I used to wear the vivos and moved to these and haven’t looked back. I never get any hot spots in these, they’re so grippy yet flexible, and it’s also one of the cutest active shoes I’ve ever owned.

I have very small narrow feet and I do NOT like thick heel/ sole tennis shoes. I have been wearing Brooks for a few years. I was looking for something even thinner sole than Brooks. I searched online and these came up. I read mixed reviews about the width. If you do not have narrow feet you may think they do not fit true to size. For me, these are the very first pair of athletic/ casual shoes that fit 100% to my feet. It REALLY feels like a glove as the name indicates. You feel like you have nothing on your feet BUT your feet are protected. LOVE them.

This is my first pair of barefoot shoes and I am loving them! I ordered my usual size, 8.5, and at first I was concerned that they were too big. The toe box seemed huge. After two walks in them I could feel that that was a good thing. I see lots of people saying how narrow they are compared to the Vapor Glove 3. Of course I don't have anything to compare them to, but the width feels good to me. I have a "regular" or very slightly narrow foot width. Something about the design and feel of them reminds of the soccer cleats I used to wear which is another plus because it makes me feel like an athlete again. They are SO lightweight (such a welcome change from the recent sneakers I have worn) and I love how my feet can actually feel the ground!

I love barefoot shoes, and have been using these, exclusively, on hikes, for walking, and working out, for a year. I use them so much the sole is wearing on them. They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever had, except for walking on certain terrain. The sole is too thin, and sharp rocks are an issue, as well as toe stubbing... It's kind of a small price to pay because with other shoes my feet were worse off in different ways. Barefoots give me control, balance, and support like no other shoe. I just ordered the trail glove 4, hoping that the sole is thicker which will add more protection on tough terrain.

If you want "outdoor socks" feeling ("not even there", thin, breathable, flexible, no support of any kind, etc) - you have to buy v.2 of these V.3 and v.4 are "broken" from that perspective - they are harder, more shoe-like, with support, thicker, narrower, etc. => NOT real barefoot! If you are looking for more of a shoe - then yes, v.3 works, v.4 is just super narrow and hurts. But then, If you need a shoe - there are a TON of them out there - go buy any :) You'd get all sorts of support, protection, etc etc, etc

Loved the shoes but too small and a half size up would have been too large. No support at all.

I was so close to loving these, but the toe box was just too tight at the widest part of my foot (where the knuckle of your big tow hits.) If you are a barefot shoe wearer (and your feet have flattened/widened out a bit), would suggest trying these in Wide.

They fit well (I sized up based on recommendations) and I loved them. But... the soles were out very quickly, it started coming apart at the toe, and I ended up with a hole in the middle of the forefoot 3 months after getting them. They were my first minimalist shoe so perhaps that's normal, but it seemed too soon to fall apart.

The shoes are attractive, but they are uncomfortable because they have no arch support.

I purchased these in July and wore for one month in December I noticed the soles on both are cracked and torn. Usage was on a treadmill

I have had these for 4 months, I walk about 5 miles a day in these shoes and there are already several holes on the bottoms. The soles do not hold up.

I am returning these shoes. Even though I have worn many different styles and pairs of Merrell shoes, ALWAYS in a size 8, this style seems to have a low toe box and presses on the top of my big toe.

I love these sneakers! So light and comfortable and make my feet look so cute! I get many compliments on them.

I love them. My daughter has been wearing Merrell Vapor Glove 4 for years and extols their virtues (as an aside, she also said Zappos was a great "place" to do business). I have "threatened" to buy myself a pair for years! At about the time C-19 lockdown went into effect, I had also retired and found that my most difficult decision any given morning was which hang loose outfit (color coordinated, of course) of the day would be appropriate and shoes had to be as comfortable .. as it turned out my favorite "shoes" became, a bit on the large size, slip-ons (probably not highly recommended!). Spring and gardening finally arrived and I found "sneakers" to be a bit confining, almost cumbersome and thought it was time for Vapor Glove .. perfect timing; they are the perfect "fit" for all my needs. I like the "foot" to floor/ground contact; actually, I've ordered a second pair, a pair for the gardens which are large and rocky and hilly and a pair for all else. If there was anything that could make them more perfect, it would be color selection; do wish I could get them in all dark grey or all black in which case I would own a 3rd pair and if something more spring/summer basic color, wear with everything Vapor Glove 4 were available, a fourth! (NOTE: "Style" is odd to apply/relate to Vapor Glove 4 .. for what it is outstanding, as stated; but, it really is more funky .. my opinion)
