This shoe is pretty comfortable and is overall good, but if you want a shoe for skating, I wouldn't recommend this.

Returning because fits smaller then other styles. Super cute, so ordered the 6 1/2 and that works.

Not sure why comfy is in the name. Also I would not call that fabric inside a “sock”

I thought I'd need to go up half a size for the Comfy Cush insole, but I ended up having to up a full size. But probably because I'm a WIde and these are normal width. Otherwise, very cute and I love them!

I've worn Sk8 hi tops before but these are much improved. The best thing is, Vans finally fixed what I hated about the old ones, which is that the tongue wouldn't stay in place. No matter how tight I laced them up, even to the point of being too tight, the tongue would immediately slide down to the side. No more! Now it stays right in the center where it belongs, all day long, with no sliding. Also there is a little more padding and arch support in the new ones.

I have worn several different kinds of vans over the years and have always stuck to the same size with no problems. When I received these in my usual size the toe box felt very strange and narrow so I ordered and size up and the same thing. I am hoping once they are broken in that will change but just a warning that the run narrow even on very skinny feet

I have a pair of vans hi-tops in the same size that are a couple years old. These are markedly tighter and narrower, and the toebox is super flat. My feet are pretty bony and I tried on with a thin sock, so I don't know whose feet could possibly fit in here comfortably.

I bought these shoes for motorcycle riding. They are comfortable, look good, and the grip on the bottom keeps my feet planted at stops. I would highly recommend.

The attached shoe tongue makes it difficult to slide my foot in and out of the shoe. It also doesn't sit right on my right foot and rubs against the top of it. Love the color combos of the shoe but I should've stuck with the regular suede sk8-hi shoes, they're more comfortable.

I desperately wanted to keep these shoes! However, like others have said, the toe box on these shoes are more narrow than regular Sk8-Hi's.

i did not like how on the back of the shoe there was a big vans sigh is yellow. I also didn't like how the tong of the shoe was so low. They were also very hard to put on.

These are very lightweight compared to my old suede pair and much more narrow in the forefoot. The sole weighs a fraction of the old ones, which feels cheap- but maybe lightweight would be a bonus for someone else though. I totally unlaced them and the sideways pressure on my wide feet is just too much- even if I go up in size and width, the overall impression is just kinda cheap for the price. Good for kids and summertime, not for adults who want to get some longevity out of them.

The fit was fine but the construction and materials didn't warrant its sticker price. I love Vans although i was extremely disappointed with these. I wanted sturdy sneakers with some heft and these aren't it. I visited my local Vans store to return them and instead exchanged them for a pair of Skate Sk8-Hi which were just a few bucks more with a much better build. The SA explained to me these are a lightweight version for occasional use -- more for the look rather than actual skateboarding. I get it -- not everyone wants a sturdier shoe that may feel a bit stiff when one first puts it on. While I'm not a skateboarder, I do have specific needs when purchasing high-tops. I need the ankle support. I need durable sneakers that will last a while. I need quality construction and materials. For a few bucks more -- I got what I wanted. I wish these were described as being a lightweight model for occasional use to make a fashion statement. If this is what you're looking for, then go for it. I had higher expectations; so, my exchange worked out for me.

I have to wear a Band-Aid on my little toe in order to wear these shoes. There is a piece inside the shoe that is torture on my toe, the right shoe is worse that the left shoe. Other than that, they are comfortable, just wish there was a way to fix the problem inside the shoe, so I did not have to wear a band-aid with them. I wonder if the wide shoe would be better, not sure if all the shoes are like this.

I ride bikes and motorcycles and these shoes are just a great everyday comfortable shoe. Especially compared to DC Shoes, they offer way better support and reduce fatigue.

Love the shoes but the reason why I give 3 stars usibecause the comfy cush ain't much. Do not recommend if you want more cushion for work shoes.

Bought these shoes for SWAT operations I love the flat sole. I wish they came in 12.5. They hurt my little toe badly on the sides.
