Size 14 medium is the size that I wear in every brand so that is what I ordered for the Cole Haan Zerogrand (British Tan/Java). After several returns to Zappos for correct sizing, I went with a size 13 medium in this brand. I’ve had surgery on both feet so I normally wear running shoes with my suits. After getting these Zerogrand shoes they feel as good as my running shoes but look very professional. This week during my commute on the train I had several people stop and ask about my shoes which has never happened to me before. Because of my positive experience with this shoe I searched the Internet and found a pair of Black size 13 medium Zerogrand and ordered them directly from Cole Haan. I was excited to receive these shoes but unfortunately my excitement didn’t last very long. The Black version of these shoes felt smaller in the length and ran more narrow. As well, the Black material was much stiffer and was not soft and supple like the British Tan/Java. The Black version actually hurt my feet just walking in them across my kitchen so as much as I didn’t want to, I boxed them up and retuned them to Cole Haan. I did notice that the British Tan/Java was made in China and the Black version was made in Vietnam which leads me to believe that there is a quality control issue regarding material and sizing. Today, I ordered the Black version in a size 13 wide from Zappos so I haven’t given up yet. I’m keeping my fingers crossed and will update this post when they are delivered next week!!!

I normally wear a 10.5 regular and that pair was to long in the toe. I ordered a 10 Wide and this pair fits perfect!

Great shoes! Comfortable and good looking. I got them for my son and he can't wait to go dancing in them... Enough said!

This shoe is very nice. The wide width suits me perfectly and the is very comfortable. Feels light, like a running shoe. Will definitely spruce up a linen suit or a pair of jeans without getting too "stuffy."

Second pair. Style is great. I always have to go wide with Cole Haan as they size shoes for the skinniest feet. Construction is good. The only negative is they use a fabric lining that catches socks. At least the tongue should be leather. I wear a 11.5 in most dress shoes but a 12W in these.

I'm normally a 14 in wingtip style shoes. The left foot felt fine, the right foot felt tight. I tried a thicker insole and it didn't help much. I ordered a pair of 13's and they were too tight. Seems a 13.5 would be perfect. Other reviews speak of trying a wider option, I may do that, otherwise this may just be how Cole Haan fits me. Beautifully made shoes, very comfortable and super stylish.
