I really like the comfort with these shoes as well as the sturdiness of the thicker soles. I've typically purchased the trail running shows, and thee are a nice step up for more casual street wear.

Merrell has been my shoe of choice for active wear, especially hiking, for years now. I visited my local Merrell store specifically looking for a shoe I seriously doubted if it existed. My search was for a comfortable, stylish casually elegant walking shoe which I could wear to business meetings, casual social affairs as well as to the airport. This shoe would have an understated flair that could easily transition to hiking while maintaining a look that fits in practically any setting. Ti my surprise that shoe exists; it's called the Gridway! This shoe met my high expectations with flying colors; I just ordered another pair in another color. Terrific shoe...& environmentally aware.

My husband and I are big Merrell fans. In fact, this is the only shoe we wear. When I saw, Gridway, come to the market, I had to get it for him for his business trips. One thing we love about Merrell is that once you know your size, you never have to wonder "what if this model doesnt fit in my size". They do. I bought his size and fits perfectly. The shoe is very elegant and very comfortable. He wears it with jeans and shorts. He is very impressed and we plan on getting few more colors. Thank you, Merrell for thinking for all those office dudes as well. They, dont just hit the trails but carry jobs as well :)

Surprisingly breathable, very comfortable for all day wear, many compliments!

I own only Merrell shoes. I bought these because I wanted something that was a little more dress casual than my Trail Gloves. Got them a week before heading to Disney World with my family. We are two days in and after 14 hours each day of being on our feet and on the move ( which if you've been here you know what I'm talking about) these shoes are amazing. Tons of cushion. Lots of support; especially for the mesh make up. And zero blisters or foot pain! These will def be my go to shoe from now on!

Only had them a week or so, but I'm very pleased with everything about them. Super lightweight and very comfortable. The reason I graded them "sized as expected" is because I had read the other reviews before I purchased them and saw that a couple of people mentioned that this model "runs narrow". I actually have a "C" width foot, so most Medium (typically a "D" width) are a little too wide. This shoe does seem to be slightly more narrow than a "D" which is why they fit me so perfectly. They've got a snug, comfortable fit. I'm very happy with these shoes, but I'm guessing that, if you have a "D" width foot, you might need to go with a half-size larger (?). I'm used to wearing "hikers" which tend to pick up dirt in the yard very easily. These have a sole that doesn't pick up any dirt at all, which is awesome. Only having them a week, I cannot comment, yet, on durability.

I love the look and feel of this shoe! It is now my favorite go to shoe when i am wearing jeans or shorts!

I love these shoes. I travel with them and they are very light and packable. More supportive than all the other sock fit shoes that I tried on!! I would definitly buy another pair!

Very well built and comfortable shoe. I spent 12hr on my feet the first day I wore them and they performed better than my Dansko's. Definitely more expensive than similar pairs from other brands, but you get what you pay for.

These shoes are very comfortable and go very well with casual attire. I have flat feet and they feel great in these shoes.

I purchased these for my adult son. I have been wanting him to try Merrell shoes for a long time, and this was a style he finally liked. He said they were very comfortable. I hope that Merrell will make more styles that don't look like sneakers or hiking shoes!

This very stylish shoe is well made and comfortable. I purchased them for our son, and he likes them.

I love the look and feel of this shoe. The knit upper is a bit more snug than I expected, but not uncomfortable by any means as it stretches with your foot. I've already been receiving compliments and recommending them to people, and I've only had them for a short time.

I got these for my husband and he loves them! He says they are the most comfortable shoes he has had. They have good support and he is able to wear them all day.

Look nice, are comfortable, and are easy to slip on and off without undoing the laces. Often got compliments.

Very comfortable and breathable. The foam sides separarate from the fabric which is unfortunate since they have vibram soles.

Nice looking shoe. I am not happy with the strange lace up system In an effort to hide the lacing the fooling around you have to do is time consuming and not as supportive to the fit of the shoe. I question whether I want to exchange the shoe.
