I love them ive only worn they twice i bought them for hunting

Bought these for and elk hunting trip out west. They help up very well hiking up a and down the mountains. Kept my feet dry and virtually eliminated foot fatigue from being on your feet all day. Highly recommend Merrell boots.

Good boot for all my needs hiking and everyday outdoor use.

Have taken these guys all over Northern Ontario, through mud, water, moss covered rocks, and even evaded a 500+# Grizzly. Will definitely buy these again.

Bought these for hiking in Montana Canada and Alaska and ended up wearing them everyday. They are incredibly comfortable and durable. Worn them over hundreds of miles of trails never had a hot spot. Seriously cannot rave enough about how awesome these boots are.

I purchased these at the beginning of winter, they're great strapped into snowshoes, warm without being sweaty, and the Vibram sole is awesome. I've had some pretty major lower limb injuries, and my stability isn't 100%. These boots provide a great boost in traction on snow and ice. So much so I've had my wife grab my arm several times as she's slipped while we're walking side by side, and I've been fine. The sole material is much softer than traditional rock hard Vibram soles so I expect them to wear faster, but I'd trade traction and comfort over a rock hard tread any day.

I love Merrrells. Like a lot. As in I have five different pairs. So when I finally wore out my Moabs after years of hiking Mt. Rainer and the Olympics, I wanted to try something different. I was a little skeptical about these, for they looked heavy and cumbersome. This is the best functioning hiking boot in have ever worn or used. Super light, extremely durable and beyond comfortable. Merrell , please don't ever stop making this boot!

I purchased these boots in the Spring of 2019 and cannot rave enough about them. I waited to write this review until I had worn them enough to know what I'm talking about. I live near Glacier National Park, so hiking is a MUST. My first real hiking season, I hiked 36 miles of trail, every inch was covered in these boots WITHOUT a single fail. My right ankle has always been weak, so the high tops give me the exact support I need. There is a real difference in the confidence I feel while wearing these boots as compared to others in the past. 1. Fishing in a river...done with success 2. Hiking novice to moderate trails...done with success 3. Hunting in November with snow on the ground...done with success. Best all around boot I've ever owned.

Fit well and comfortably right out of the box with no breaking in period. I wear these for work and am on my feet about 10hrs a day and have loved them. I will probably look to get some kind of insert for extra comfort but overall highly recommended.

I haven't had these boots long but I was surprised at how comfortable they were and how good the fit was right out of the box. I have flat, wide feet but these boots provide the support I need, especially long hikes in the mountains hunting.

First got these sometime in the early 2000's. Wore the first pair for years, then got a second pair that lasted until last week. Hiked and/or backpacked all over the Rockies, Alps, and most recently Andes. From snow to hot and wet, these never missed a beat. Fit is everything, but different for each person. These just fit me great, snug with excellent arch support, and firm sole. Getting ready to order a new pair. Old one's I keep for dirty work around the house. For comparison, I wear a 10.5 with a narrow foot. Size seems to be right on.

I love these boots. They are so comfortable I'm even wearing them in the hot summer. They look as elegant as they do on the site. Great boots, the only pair you'll need.

I do a lot of hiking and carry a 30 lb back pack. I need a sturdy boot with good ankle support. These boots were comfortable right out of the box and give me the support I need.

I only shop Merrill shoes for the last 12 years. I love this boot. I bought two pairs of the first phaser bound boot loved them so much. Glad they came back.

This is my 2nd pair of this model boot. That speaks for itself. However, I will continue by saying no one can match the style and performance of Merrell. They look great on the job or on the trail! Durable, lightweight,Vibram sole, and waterproof. It's still very recent on this review after my purchase, but my older pair have broken in really nice. Mostly for use on the job, and I alternate pairs/days for total sweat dry out.

I got these in today and have only had them on for about 3 hours and they feel great! This my second pair of Merrell's and I will never buy another shoe again. They are true to size, very comfortable right out of the box, very durable, and well constructed!!

The two hooks at the top of the lacing system could be a little more accepting of the laces. More than a few times, I've laced the boots and thought I was good to go, but soon found one lace or the other wasn't fully seated in the hook.

Boots were good. They served their purpose of being comfortable for hiking and waterproof.

Absolutely loved the original Phaserhound. Most comfortable hiking boots I have ever worn, I still own them. However they have been downgraded for dry hikes only. After the first year (400 miles) the boots began to allow water to pass through the membrane. I was heartbroken that my favorite pair of boots ever, are now "Dry Hikes Only". Still wear them when the sun is up and the dew has left the Trails. Has anyone had issues with the Phaserhound 2??

Like the shoes. Look good,comfortable, break in easily and support feet and ankles well. Problem is that the sole will separate from rest of shoe within six months. Have owned 5 pair and it has happened on every pair. For the price, looks like Wolverine could find a better glue.

This is my 5th pair. Use them daily as work boots at a plant nursery. Then on backpacking trips. Not to light but heavy. Fairly durable. Comfortable. Does not need much break in. All around a great boot.

Just got these boots last week. I like them a lot so far . Can you please make them and some of your other boots in wide ?
