I bought my "Hydro Mocs" to take with me backpacking in case I encountered a water crossing ... This past summers treks didn't have any water crossings so the jury is still out ... But I have used the "Hydro Mocs" as "after" hike shoes ... Which have worked out great for me ...

Size was a little big on my foot, slid around a bit without socks on. Great shoe for the plane, or walking around in the Hawaiian surf

I just got this Moc last night. So if I'm unable to edit this review, I will write another after a few months.. I am a bigger guy (OK, fine, Im fat..) with a need for something that will actually fit loose enough around my wide feet as well as provide comfort that doesnt bottom out within a few weeks.. I'd been eyeing the Hydro Moc for awhile, mainly because I LOVE the design and form factor of this shoe.. This slip on looks so trippy and weird in a cool unique way, unlike Crocs. Initial reaction upon putting it on- Maaann, these are almost cavernous inside.. Like.. this is the absolute biggest size 15 shoe I have ever worn. Im really closer to a 15.5 in size so it fit me perfectly. If you have narrow feet, these shoes aint for you. PERIOD. You can go a size down or even 2 sizes down. You will feel like you are swimming in these.. and that strap is nowhere near enough support to hold your foot in place. you might need to double sock up. Two things I am concerned about... this entire moc is comprised of injected foam and you can tell.. but I definitely worry about the outsole. There are no grooves or cut in tread in it. I worry about sliding on a polished hardwood floor and seriously inuring myself. also the plastic bolts holding that strap in place are flimsy. These will definitely be the first thing to break on these. They should be reinforced

Definitely large. I regularly wear 11.5-12 in most brands, but these fit best in a 10 for me. Love the marbled colors. The bottoms seem to wear down rather quickly, even after just a few days of light walking

Can we PLEASE have all of the color ways in ALL sizes?! I would have loved to buy more than one of the color ways they have for men but they don't carry my size... Also, when I wear them without socks, they make a really funny raspberry-ish sound, lol. I'm not sure what can help with that? Other than that, they're beautiful.

I had been looking at these shoes for about a week or so pondering buying them for my new summer addition to the shoe collection. I was very intrigued and thought they actually looked pretty fresh in some of the wild colors. I was reading all of the buyer's reviews about them saying how they run big in size for the purposes they are intended for. Heeding this warning and not wanting to have to deal with any returns or wait if they didn't fit right I called my nearest DSW to see if they had them in stock. They told me they did but that they were only stocking the women's sizes currently. I was a bit bummed to hear that but I decided to go and check them out in person anyways considering it wasn't far from my office. To my suprise when I got there, a Women's size 10 fit my normally Men's size 11-12 foot like a GLOVE! Ended up walking out with the purple-ish pink swirl pair in a Women's size 10 (Men's size 8.5!) So long story short, regardless of whatever you as the buyer are thinking about right now in reference to size when buying these, I highly encourage anyone truly interested to seek these out in-store and find the right fit for you. Take it from the size 12 mens foot wearing a size 8.5 for the first and probably last ime ever. Get them in store and get your right size, they should fit snug but not curl your toes.

Good water clog. Will be in and out of the water w these on a reg basis.

These are very comfortable, however I have 2 minor issues. 1st, they rubbed a spot on Achilles tendon. 2nd, I am really surprised at the amount of sand, gravel, and small rocks end up inside... None the less, i would still buy another pair. Not to mention i love the colors!!!

Heads up to all readers that the posts mentioning ordering two sizes too small was right on! I did that as well (order two sizes too small), and they fit like a glove. Gave it 4 stars due to having to "guess" shoe size.

Good for after hikes to let feet breathe at camp. Haven't had the chance to use them in water as there isn't much of that here in the desert. Like the design except for the lip that rises up on the anterior top most part of the shoe which rubs and causes chafing without socks. Easy on easy off with toe protection from rocks and stubs. Cushion enough (but not a recovery shoe). Overall I like the shoe. Will consider whether I will purchase them again or not after I see how they wear. But would suggest to anyone to give them a try. Remember to do as other reviewers suggest and order one size smaller than your normal size, because these shoes do run a size, almost a size and a half big.

I like the look, feel and durability of these mocs, but you need to know your size. Fortunately, I was able to try them on before purchasing. I wear these primarily without socks or with thin summer-weight socks. I purchased these in a Men's Size 9. For reference I wear a Size 10.5 in the Merrell Chameleon Stretch and a Size 11 in the Hut Moc.

Very comfortable and holding up well. Glad I found these for multiple reasons. They have become my regular wear during warm and hot days, basically anytime I'm not at work, on the motorcycle or cold. Love these.

Great warm weather shoe, has typical Merrell support foot bed which is great for my lower arch. I was going to use it for walking dogs & bringing them into the water & with Kyack. But I needed 1/2 size smaller than my usual size as it was too roomy.

I have been wearing these for a little over a month now and am happy with the choice. They are great around the house and on the river, but not great for the beach, in my opinion. They fill up with sand, and it is difficult to get out, so you end up walking on sand until you get to a place they can be rinsed out. The tall portion in the heel makes them impossible for me to get on without reaching down and pulling it back, which is annoying when I want to slip them on and my hands are full. Even with the heel strap flipped to the front. I think these would be good around the camp site, and even on some longer/more technical hikes because the heel strap makes them very secure. Pros- comfortable secure (even without the strap) Cons- difficult to get off collect sand/small stones I followed the advice of other reviewers, went a 1/2 size down and it was the right choice.

These crocs are comfortable and versatile. They are equally useful at home or the beach. The website suggested ordering a full size below a normal Merrell shoe. That suggestion was accurate and prevented a return/exhange. They have my recommendation.

I ordered a size to big and my local store didn't have the color, I had to send them back for a refund.

Your foot stays in the show while going through water creating confidence while crossing through water.

These shoes are really fun and comfy. Not the best for a pebbly beach, but that should be obvious given the multiple holes. Be sure to order a whole size smaller. I usually wear a 9 in Merrell slip-ons and the 8 fits perfect here.
