Pleasantly surprised, I knew going in the fit would be off a bit. I have a wide foot. But, that said, they are very comfortable and easy to wear. In fact, have already referred some friends to the site.

Overall I like these mocks. They do run large so I ordered a 12 instead of my usual 13 and they fit snug enough. I wouldn't want them any tighter on my toes. The only problem I noticed is that when my feet get wet working in the garden, my foot does slide around in this mock.

These odd shoes provide great protection in all kinds of water. As a bonus, they are surprisingly comfortable with good support. The plastic is a little uncomfortable against the skin in hot weather (when you are likely to be wearing them.) A better hot weather material would be a welcome improvement.

These are more high volume large than large in length - so sizing down for a skinny foot may not make it any less loose but may start to hit your toe. I ordered my usual size, and they are a bit large, but will take a nice sock later in the fall. As these are plastic, you may get an occasional rub in the anke, but again, a sock is your salvation. The footbed is very nicely shaped, a little like the slides and clogs, and the traction is fine. Finally, I bought the olive ones that shade towards the back, they actually look surprisingly nice! Good shoes.

Comfortable and light weight. I purchased one size smaller as suggested. After walking in them for a day with socks, I had one middle toe that became very sore. I should have ordered the usual size. I am a Merrell fan and have been for many years. I hate shoe shopping! When I find footwear that works for me I stay with it. I have purchased many pair of: Leather Jungle Mocs, Moabs, and Speed Strike sandals.

Love the shoes. They do (at least for me) require a break in period because of blisters. Once you get past that, incredible shoes. Been hiking in the USVI and performed incredibly.

I get asked about these shoes all the time. Guys really like them. Only down side to them is your foot really slides around in them when wet.

The Moc's are very comfortable and they are great for beach walking. The only issue I have with them is they are not true to size, my suggestion is to ordr 1 size smaller then other Merrill products.

I bought these shoes a few weeks ago. The sole purpose for everyday wear, fishing a festivals. The break in period is over and these have great arch support. The traction in these are incredible. I've taken them in rocky rivers and on wet banks and haven't slipped. Sure they're a touch different but look a lot better than crocs. I get compliments all the time. I'm really impressed with them.

Love these Hydo Mocs. Wear them almost everyday after work and on the weekends when I'm in the shop or on the trail. 4 stars instead of 5 due to the fact when they get wet there slippy as all get out.

I think they will be fine. I've only had them on for an hr or so. My last pair were a 12 and a bit sloppy but comfortable and the new ones are an 11 and a bit snug. Hoping they loosen up a little with time. 11 1/2 I think would be perfect.
They are so nice compared to crocks.

I bought this model of Merrell to wear in the lap pool as part of my walking exercises for physical therapy. I normally wear a 12 to 12.5 shoe and the size 11 in this shoe fit perfectly; the 12 was too large. It has good traction in the pool and doesn't slip of the pool floor. I have a narrow foot and a high arch; the fit of the shoe rubbed my arch uncomfortably. Overall, I think they're a good shoe; but not for me.

The comfort is there and the size seven works well. Handles wet very well. I would love to see a more durable sole so the shoes could last the numerous dog walks I have had them on for the sole has worn down rather quickly on non - water surfaces.

Style, yes. Functionality, yes. Needs some help in the comfort dept with knobs or ridges in the footbed in order to control moisture. Otherwise, they also feel great on the feet if you're wearing socks. They look way better than Crocs IMHO.

First… not sure if I would say these are a “Crocs replacement”- much thinner sole and I can’t see these lasting more than a couple seasons. They don’t have the squishy, broken-in crocs feel either. Kind of more firm. They need to be broken in- don’t give up- they’ll draw some blood if you walk far in them before they are broken in, but once they are, they are great! Feels more like a shoe than Crocs. At the same time- you definitely feel the better ventilation on your feet vs Crocs. I’d definitely buy again- but not really a replacement for Crocs. I wouldn’t hike in them either- even though they are Merrells. Sole is much too thin. I do recommend though and will buy again. Also- I wear a size 14 in the Merrell Moab II, but the 13 in these fits perfectly.

These are great shoes with one seriously huge (but easily fixed) design flaw. The high Achilles's arch on these shoes rubbed a serious sore on my foot in just a half of a day. I was able to trim them with some scissors fairly easily. Maybe this isn't a problem for other users, but I couldn't imagine it's not. Why not just do what's been working for Croc all these years? I like the shoes, and like the unique design, but just don't understand why they would make the back part so high?!
