Gestern damit in einer top Zeit auf die Zugspitze gelaufen! Da ein Laufschuh unter der Garmasche versteckt ist funktioniert das Laufen/joggen auch mehr als gut! Am Gletscher angekommen, gr?del aufgeschnallt und durch von der Sonne aufgew?rmten nassen Schnee gestapft und die F??en blieben trocken. Am Klettersteig ist der Schuh f?r mich stabil genug um auch eine C Kategorie Klettersteig zu meistern und trotzdem noch angenehm weich f?r die geh/lauf Passagen zu sein. Falls einem in dem Schuh zu hei? sein sollte kann man einfach den Knopf am schafft schlie?en und nur den Rei?verschluss offen lassen. Fazit: einer der besten Schuhe f?r L?ufe vom Tal bis zum Gipfel bei allen m?glichen Bedingungen.

So I just got these and the fit was prefect ( have a wider forefoot ) Superlight. I got these to use in the Alps. I was so excited to get these I went on a trail run just to get the feel of these. For s stiffer boot these handle pretty well. The weight is crazy light.

Comprata per un trekking in autosufficienza di 9 giorni in Cordillera Huayhuash. Comoda, leggerissima, calda il giusto, traspirante ed impermeabile nonostante abbiamo beccato tanta acqua e fango. Una scarpa che consiglio sia per i trekking lunghi sia per il fast hiking su terreni impegnativi. Ho recentemente acquistato dei ramponi ultraleggeri (non ramponcini tra running, ma ramponi veri) non automatici, e a breve la prover anche su ghiacciaio. Penso che per le classiche vie sui 4000 della alpi andranno benissimo.

These boot/shoes are not as hot as previous snowcross versions. The upper breathes very well but keeps moisture out. Good traction and a wide toe box. I don't think I realized until I purchased these how much my feet were cramped inside my old snowcross shoes.

Plus d'excuse pour ne pas courir en hiver en montagne chez nous. Un accroche parfait et des pieds toujours sec. Et apr?s l'hiver on continue a jouer dans la boue. Un chien et sa maitresse tr?s content! Je vois sur le nouveau model homme, que la languette est plus longue. Ce ne sera pas mal car au debut le quick lace a fait du mal dans la languette.

I have only worn them a few times but I used them for a traverse of the Cuillin Ridge on the Isle of Skye and they were just class!! Amazing and lightweight, super comfy and really good for climbing in too! Well done Salomon!

Ich bin ein riesiger Fan des S/LAB XA ALPINE 2 und nutze den oft, um bei Matsch, Regen und Schnee mit dem Hund spazieren zu gehen. Habe inzwischen 4 Paar davon. Der Reissverschluss ist toll, Quicklace anstatt Schnurb?ndel ist grossartig und dank dem GTX Material schwitzt man kaum. Haltbarkeit ist auch super. Tolle Schuhe! Vor allem kann man sie sehr einfach mit einem nassen Lappen abwischen und sie sind wieder sauber.

Excellent shoe for mountain running, especially in snowy conditions. Snap on ankle cuff a very good addition. Pulls double duty as a great choice to use with a snowshoe.

Les Alpines 2 ont la m?me accroche que la version 1 mais me semblent plus solides; tr?s bonne adh?rence sur les pentes abruptes et glmissantes comme ont trouve sur certains volcans islandais. leur l?g?ret? vous permet une marche rapide ou des petites foul?es sur ce genre de terrains difficiles.

Gewicht, Passform, Funktion, genau so hab ich mir meine leichten Bergschuh vorgestellt. Mit K?rbchensteigeisen f?r die Gletscher und auf den klassischen Graten auch f?r die Kletterstellen optimal. Immer Vorsicht mit der Temperatur f?r das Gewicht ist er aber ein relativ "warmer" Schuh.

I have been searching for an approach shoe that I can actually run in & do easy climbing, this is it! They are comfortable, the rubber is good, they climb up peaks well & run well. The gator is great for keeping unwanted rocks & sand out of your shoes and it actually breathes well. I have stepped in water a few times now and was surprised how dry my foot stayed. Overall, they are a great shoe that is well constructed & worth the money!

Le comportement est tout simplement super (et aucune usure remarqu?e) , apr?s deux ajustements les premiers jours: 1- Serrage de la chaussure: A l'accoutum? un resserrage est recommand? apr?s l'?chauffement, ici c'est indispensable car la sur-chaussure rend le serrage de l'avant plus difficile ? parfaire au premier coup. Sinon, je sentais l'avant de mon pied flotter dans les d?vers. 2- Risque de neige entrant par le haut de la gu?tre Ayant une cheville fine, il restait un jeu qui permettait aux projections de neige de p?n?trer puis fondre ? l'int?rieur. Probl?me r?solu en utilisant des chaussettes plus hautes que je replie au niveau de la gu?tre. J'aurais juste une suggestion quant ? la conception: En l'?tat, la languette de tirage arri?re est inutile car ses deux ancrages sont au niveau bas. Un design corrig? comme dans la XA Enduro r?soudrait ce point faible.

Problme rsolu en utilisant des chaussettes plus hautes que je replie au niveau de la gutre. J'aurais juste une suggestion quant la conception: En l'tat, la languette de tirage arrire est inutile car ses deux ancrages sont au niveau bas. Un design corrig comme dans la XA Enduro rsoudrait ce point faible.

This is my second pair of Alpines: I'm still training in a pair of first generations, which I love. The improvements in the second generation include: a snap at the top of the gaiter, so you can ventilate the shoe by leaving the zip down, but still have basic protection, and the gaiter isn't flapping. There's less 'waterproofing' on the foot of the gaiter, which means more breathability. The fabric is less 'Spandura' than breathable neoprene, and the entire interior is screaming red, along with a red pinstripe down the edge of the zipper. I love the fact that someone (Salomon) pushed back against the GoreTex juggernaut: my feet are always soaked within minutes of putting on a GT shoe, so these are exactly what I'm looking for. I would like to see a light color (light grey), since these are alpine shoe and thus the black means they're running hotter in the sun than necessary, but... they're better than anything else out there. Size-wise... the second gen feels a little bigger all around, but time will tell. It did take me several attempts to dial in size the first time, and I've ordered the same, so we'll see how they wear.

I run on the beach and mountain everyday with these shoes, they are awesome, nice grip on rocks, nice traction in sands, you will never get sands inside of these shoes this is magical ! I like the easy lace system with the inside clip and outside zipper, they are not waterproof but they don't absorb water easy. I walked more then 500 kilometers with these and they still look brand new, no problem with them so far. I got these as a product replacement from the Salomon 2 years warranty, I don't regret my choice. Will buy again the next generation of ALPINE S/LAB
