These are very comfortable, sturdy shoes that I plan to use while hiking. I wish there was another hole at the top of the shoe so that I can better cinch the shoes against my ankle area. Very lightweight, and great traction. They are clunky looking but the shoes are flexible and light. Fingers crossed that I found a winner for the next day-hiking trip.

Sneaker offers excellent support; I have planter fasciitis in left foot and sneaker is very comfortable and supportive. Sneaker is well made and waterproof claims are accurate. Considering how well made shoe is, weight is surprising light. I bought a 9.5 and fit is as expected. If you want a hiking boot but don’t want the typical weight and bulk of same, give these a try. Good tread and traction. Style minimizes foot size; I don’t look like I’m wearing a 9.5. Shoe laces tie well. Tongue looks a bit puffy but is otherwise fine. After wearing 6 or 7 times for hour walks, I can say I am very happy w purchase. Sneaker has appropriate price point for overall quality and footbed support.

The best hiking shoes for me, right out of the box I hiked 7 miles in comfort. Wish they would be more discreet with the logo however.

These are very comfortable, supportive shoes. I wear them to walk my dog on a wooded trail, through grassy fields, and around the neighborhood and my feet stay dry. My only wish is that they came in more fun colors.

I have had a pair of Salomons that I have loved for a few years and needed to replace them. I’ve tried on a few different pair of Salomons including these and they seem to have changed the arch support. They aren’t comfortable for me anymore unfortunately so I returned them.

These were okay. I’m a size 10 in Brooks ghost and tried these in a 9.5 and they fit. I didn’t like how they felt around my ankle. They rubbed. They don’t have a lot of cushioning but most hiking shoes don’t. I returned these and kept the Salomon ultra mid because I wanted my ankles covered. I love the mid but need more cushioned insoles for them also.

The 8-1/2 was just a tiny bit long on me (even with extra toe room) but I would have kept them if not for the very annoying popping noise, especially wiith the left shoe, when I walked on the tile in my house. I would have kept them if not for that. I've reordered, hoping the next pair won't do the same. Otherwise, they'll be going back, too.

I would’ve kept them but they made this weird suction sound as I stepped off the floor. Every step, both sides. It drove me crazy

Size fits well but the right shoe makes a noise when I bend the toe. I will exchange for the same model and size and see how it works out.

I would have kept this pair but the left shoe made a popping noise that was pretty irritating. I checked other reviews and someone else had said the same thing. I checked with customer service and was told it was defective. Unfortunately, they didn't have another pair in stock. I like Salomon shoes because I have long feet and Salomons tend to run long.

The right shoe is a little larger in appearance & fit, so hoping it may be due to stretch from others trying the shoe. The primary reason I ordered these shoes is based on brand. Historically my high top GTX Solomon hikers have been excellent. Although these shoes are somewhat cheaper made in appearance, the fit is nice, & the degree of waterproof protection will be revealed with time. & wear.

These Salomons fit great and were comfortable, but as other reviewers mentioned, made a strange popping noise with every step. Even on carpet. I returned them for this reason.

Loved the looks of this shoe. Have worn Salomon's for many years. However, these were stiff & not as comfortable as what I have grown used to from Salomon. Since I am on my feet at work 8-10 hours a day, I need super comfortable & supportive shoes. Disappointed to have to return these.

Looking to replace an older pair of Salomon GTX hikers - these were very clunky and uncomfortable.

A good looking very light shoe. However, not the old wide toe box shoe I recall and so sent them back as I it hurt my right, dormant, foot.

I really wanted to like these - and I did at first. But I expected a bit more padding. So I added a thin gel pad, but it wasn't enough. Because the tongue is attached, there isn't a lot of room inside to add anything more/thicker. The shoes are not wide (which would have been fine for me had they been comfortable). I wore them several times, and it seemed like each time my feet were less happy. Really wish I could return them.

NOT WATERPROOF. These don't even keep my feet dry from morning dew in a grassy field.
