I normally wear a size 7.5 shoe and this 7.5 fit but only with a thin pair of socks and my toe was right up to top of shoe. So I couldn’t wear thick socks or have room for when hiking down a steep hill when your foot slides forward. I went up 1/2 size for a better fit for hiking and wearing a thicker sock and having some room for toes.

Comfortable, good traction and Gortex kept my feet dry during pouring rain and mud. Magnet/Black/Atlantis color is perfect color to go with jeans or black pants and maybe other things. Lightweight too when you don't want a full hiking boot or something on your ankle. Definitely recommend!

These are a great shoe. The material did feel kind of cheap and plasticy out of the box for the price. They are very comfortable and squishy and I like the way they make me feel balanced side to side. They snug my heel which is great, and have a good toe box. I don’t like the flapping/ plastic sound they make. I also don’t like the seam that cuts all around the heel. It’s sewn flat and I couldn’t feel it initially, but it would be nice to have a seamless interior. I usually wear a 10 in athletic shoes, and these did feel a tad big. I’m going to go down a half size to see if it’s better. Didn’t test out the water proofing yet. I also like that they feel light.

I needed a pair of waterproof hiking shoes to replace my much-loved Vasque trail-running shoes.The toe box of this shoe slopes towards the front of the shoe in a way that put pressure on my big toe. The left shoe was noticeably smaller than the right. The arch support is in the wrong place for my foot. I bought a pair of Merrells instead, which fit beautifully.

I tried two pairs of these, and with both the left shoe made a loud popping sound when I walked. I would have purchased otherwise.

Purchased these for training my dogs. I have not worn them in the rain yet so can’t speak to the waterproofing of the shoe but I am very happy with them so far.

I ordered these in my regular size 8 but felt they were a tad bit short so exchanged for 8.5 and they are great. I was worried that they might be loud when I walked based on prior reviews, but I guess I got lucky and got a quiet pair. Snagged these on sale and am very happy.

Comfy af and somehow relatively stylish for hiking shoes. Reminded me of the pillowy security of skate shoes back in the day.

I was really wanting the same Salomon XA Pro 3D that I have been wearing for several years, but they weren't available. So I tried the X Crest, which about the only shoe I liked that had my size available. They are true to size and width and they have tie laces, which I didn't think I'd like, but I actually prefer them now. The tongue is narrower and thicker, which is a bit uncomfortable. But overall, I like them. I usually buy two pair at a time, but I'm going to wait until the XA Pro 3D or something similar is available.

The fit and size is good. I walked in them all day while touring a park and they felt great at the end of the day.

Love these sneakers! I am on my feet all day and the support is wonderful. Highly recommend!
