Works as intended. Protects from harmful uv rays. Blocks wind. Multi use friendly. I use it for hiking and it has been a great investment. A must have. Hard to find this gaiter with cut-outs that cover the neck efficiently. I've bought many. Great for gardening also!

The cut on this gaiter is perfect, little looser fit on my big head and neck than the other Columbia gaiters I have, easier to breathe with increased mobility an coverage!! Awesome material as always!

Durable, snug fitting that stays in place, keeps you cool on hot days while providing sun/wind protection, excellent gaiter that has vent holes to keep your sunglasses from fogging up!

The cooling technology used, doesn't seem to really do anything, unlike the omni heat technology. I purchased this to keep my face and neck slightly warmer working in the winter. It does that perfect, I cannot see or feel any cooling going on at all, maybe I should wear it in the 100 degree temps to find out, but just seems silly that putting a layer on would cool you down.

I have used it in Egypt to protect me from the hot sun there and it was 100% sun UV protection. It runs small so you have to request big size

My 9 year old son loves his gator. It is light and eww as6 to carry in a pocket when in and out of doors.

Really like the color and material of this, just a little small.

Since purchasing this in mid-September...I've already used it for fishing about 10 times. It has saved my face and neck every time. Cloudy days when you don't think about the sun, and super bright bluebird sky days when the sun is full force. Paired with the terminal tackle long sleeve and you can't beat the sun protection. Awesome product and will be buying more.

Got this as a gift for my boyfriend, who wanted something to wear to protect his neck between the jacket and helmet when riding his motorcycle. It fits well, he says it is lightweight and doesn't feel hot. The green was a little brighter green than expected.

The material is super soft and I like the breathing holes it has to make breathing even easier. I like everything about it.

I got this to combat sun reflection while kayaking and boating, and for that it works very well. I was expecting it to be stifling hot, but valued no face sunburn over a little discomfort. It was surprisingly good at letting the heat out. It fits a little more loose than I'd like, but overall, it's much more comfortable than I was expecting.

I love this product, works like magic, it keeps you cool in a bright sunny day.

I have several different neck gaiters for fishing from several different brands and this is definitely one of my favorite. The material is cool and lite weight but doesn't feel like it will fall apart. I like the holes around the nose/mouth area, helps keep the sunglasses from fogging up when I have it pulled all the way up to my glasses to protect my nose. Always satisfied with my Columbia purchases and this one fits right in!

I live in Texas and work outside everyday. I dip this in cold water and put this on and it helps so much. This coupled with my big hat is the bees knees. I highly recommend if your not a big fan of sunscreen and want to stay cool in the heat.

If you are traveling to a place of a lot of dust this is a great item to take with you!!!

This is in my opinion one of the top of the line neck gaiters on the market. Columbia definitely hit the mark on performance and comfortability. I've tried other brands of neck gaiters but they felt cheap in the material used to make them and would cause me to inch after a while. So I took a chance and bought this one in the hyper blue got to say I was pretty impressed on the quality and performance of this product will definitely be buying another one soon.

This is superb sun protection and cools head/neck at same time. Gulf Coast fishing is intense sunlight, this neck gator protects your skin, cools you as you sweat, and works easy. Couldn't be happier while "cool"!

I have several of the neck Gaiters, this new design is a nice improvement upon the Gaiter design. Both the tails and the breathing vent are a nice improvement to an already great product.

I've used other brands before buying this one, and Columbia takes the cake... This gaiter is tight, it won't pull and run down your neck. It's also very breathable! You will be able to breathe freely, without fogging your glasses up, and even when wet, it doesn't hold water like other types of material. Also, the fit is perfect - you'll forget you have it on.

First and foremost, I do not work for Columbia, no one I know works for Columbia, and I am not getting paid for this review. This is simply the best neck gaiter you will ever purchase. I have tried them all, and this beats every single last one of them. Unlike the previous model, the Freezer Zero II has elastic around the top and it comfortably stays up above the nose without sliding down. The material is super light and breathable in 100+ degree heat, and the holes seem to prevent sunglasses from fogging up in high humidity quite well. The item protects against the sun as advertised. I buying another one, as this is the PERFECT neck gaiter.
