I've been searching high and low for a good rain jacket that isn't shapeless, short and/or unlined. This jacket is more fitted than most, has great coverage (goes just past my bottom) and is lined! I'm so happy with this purchase and am looking forward to staying stylish and dry in Seattle!

I tried 4 or 5 styles of Columbia Rain Jackets, and this was had the most features. It was the roomiest in the armpits, which I wanted to that I can layer it over other lightweight jackets or heavy clothing. (I did order on size up.) I liked that the pockets are really two pockets. You can slide your hands in from the side to keep them warm, and the flap pocket will keep things stashed away for you. There is also a small zipper pocket on the front placket that is perfect for holding your cell phone or a small pack of tissues.

The white dotted navy is attractive, and the silky lining is nice- it has a dressier look than many rain jackets. The medium fits me well (40 inch chest and hips) with enough room to wear a light quilted jacket underneath. I don't like the look of the longer length in the back. If this were a knee length coat it would be perfect.

This looks really good on. Dressy enough for evening, but practical for day. Love it.

I found that this jacket was a little snug. Originally ordered a medium but it would have been too narrow in the shoulders to wear with a sweater. The large is a bit big but you can snap in the waist. Overall love the length, style, and quality.

Pros: lightweight, nice material (not plasticky like some rain jackets), good arm length, good torso length. Cons: slightly tight through hips if you have wider hips, which I do. Also, I have a long neck which made the hood slightly short in front. Going back for those reasons, which are mostly specific to my body and might be no issue at all for others.

A lightweight coat. I loved the color, Light Elk. I liked it from the front but from the back it is wide at the shoulders and tapers down to the bottom. I felt like I looked like a linebacker.

Roomy enough to way a thicker shirt under. Love the longer length on cold rainy days. The style is flattering. Great quality and price.

Great jacket for rain and a breezy day.

I couldn't wait to wear my coat out. It's perfect for what I wanted. I never owned a rain jacket. It's great quality as I always get from Columbia coats. Love the dots as it reminds me of rain drops. I get compliments on it. Fits cute on. I like the snaps and adjustments for waist. Great style!

Definitely does what it's supposed to, and it's pretty warm for spring.

Very lightweightperfect for rainy morning commute

For the past six months I had been looking for a long raincoat to replace a long time favorite. A friend advised me to check out the Columbia jackets-and there it was-exactly what I was looking for! LOVE the 2 way zipper, double pocket design, the length, the color, the price, and it fits great!!! Thanks Columbia Sportswear!

I needed a rain jacket that would allow me to wear a sweater or sweatshirt underneath or just wear the jacket alone in warmer rain weather. This coat fills the bill, looks stylish and packs easily for travel.

This piece is very complementary to being a light layer over a sweater in cooler, rainy weather. I think it would also do well as a summer rain shield - haven't had the opportunity to try that yet. Comfortable, roomy without being boxy or having too much fabric. In my experience, it does run a wee bit big, but it's not cumbersome. Cute pattern, sturdy fabric.

Great jacket, great style, quality & fit. Picked a few options of waterproof jackets for my mom and she chose this one. She loves it!

This nice travel jacket may look unassuming & simple but - very important for my travel needs - it is light, pack-able & functional. Lining does exist & it adds to the warmth w/o making it bulky. Flat front pockets can be also entered sideways BTW. Fits true to size. I'm 5'7" so a bit longer back is much appreciated. Not sure how it would face the elements, rain most importantly. Overall I'm pleased with the purchase and love everything about this jacket including a bit unusual "elk exterior/dark blue interior"color combination that I chose. Thanks, Columbia!

It is so nice. I like this pretty jacket.

I love this trench! The length is great, easy on/off and the fabric is soft. I wanted something to use as an outer layering garment that is easy to pack and wear over my seasonal jackets. I got the small which fit well and as expected and easily slips over my Fall fleecy things which will extend the season. Love Columbia quality.

Some rain jackets feel like a poncho - big and boxy and too roomy to keep warm. This jacket is cut closer and styled so that it can be worn in the woods on a hike or down town trip out for lunch. Effective water repellant fabric. Like the hood and higher collar. Great jacket!

Love the print and the fit. I liked that it was longer than my typical rain jackets.

In general, it's a very nice looking rain jacket that I'm able to use for work over my sporty rain jackets. It's soft in the inside and it is a nice long length. It's very comfortable, a little form flattering, and I highly recommend it

This is perfect for fall weather or light winter with layers.

I am happy to say this rain /trench coat is exactly as described. I am also happy that sizing is as expected & I never have to return an item for "small sizing ". Waiting for rain to really see its true potential but I love the length & style!!!

I bought this jacket for my picky daughter who lives in Connecticut. She likes it very much! It's so lightweight and waterproof, just the perfect length and hood. Now, I am looking for a winter, insulated coat. All Columbia's products are high quality.
