I love this jacket. It will be perfect for traveling in Europe this December. It is not a heavy winter coat but it will keep you warm with the right layers. I usually wear a medium but ordered a large as I wanted to insure I could zip it over my hips without looking too tight. The sleeves are long but the cuffs have adjustable bands that keep the sleeves from sliding down your hands. The Jacket length is just about mid thigh on me (I'm 5'5"). The hood does not detach but is light weight so should not be a problem.

This coat did everything I wanted it to, and more! We were in Ireland and the UK for a month in May, which meant we had to be prepared for rain at any time. This coat was easy to stash in my purse because of the lightweight material, but when I needed it, the performance was anything but lightweight! We encountered wind, pouring rain and drizzles from Dublin to Galway, Bath to Oban. This coat kept me dry and comfortable in all of it. I had plenty of pockets for keeping my cell phone, maps, guide book and still had room to protect my hands from the elements. I loved the print as well.

It's a thin coat. Something like a next level up from a windbreaker. Maybe go up a size if you like wearing layers. I wore it during a light rain, and it performed fine. I like the longer length, and the dual zipper for multi use. It's definitely a city to the trail type of long jacket.

People stop me all the time to ask "where did you get that Jacket?". They really like the color/pattern - and the extra length in back. I always mention it's waterproof ( has served me well in drizzles and downpours) and has four pockets!! - ideal for phone, keys, Kleenex, and doggie clean- up bags. Two-way zipper is a must-have for me, and adjustable hood opening really made a difference on a wet and windy dog walk.

I had to buy the jacket the moment I saw it online. I love the color, shape and length of the jacket. I'm 5'10" and it goes to about mid-thigh on me. The sleeves are the perfect amount of "a little long" as I'm always battling sleeves being too short. And there's side pockets as well, behind the front pockets shown in the photos which is a bonus! Jacket is light weight and very comfortable - highly recommend this jacket if you're looking for a new rain coat that can be worn for any occasion. (Note: I'm 27 weeks pregnant in the photos; that's why the photo of the jacket zipped may seem a little tight, lol...but I wanted to show the jacket =) )

Love this jacket! Fits true to size with just a bit more sleeve length. Color is as shown.

After nearly 20 years with my former Columbia raincoat, it was time to replace it due to the insulation flecking off in pieces. At first try my NEW coat fits well. It is contoured to a woman's body shape (my old retired jacket was just a straight cut from armpit down to bottom hem). This NEW coat will be great for both business and light recreation purposes! I am anxiously awaiting the fall here in the rainshadow of the Cascade Mountains for the weather to roll in and put this jacket to the test.

The coat is well-made and cute with a feminine flair. I'd like a little more elastic at the waist to make the front view look more feminine as the back of the coat does. Overall, it is a very cute and functional coat.

This is a nice looking jacket that is lightweight and packs well. It is long enough to do a decent job keeping the rain off. I went a size up because I like to layer, and it fits and still looks nice. My one complaint about the Columbia jackets I have, this one included, is that they have no interior pockets, which I find very useful when traveling or needing to carry a phone on my person.

Stylish lightweight trench. It does run long in the sleeves and I have long arms. Love the color.

I love the look of this coat, especially the "shirttails." It's very well made. I bought size L, which typically is my right size in Columbia clothes. This coat, however, is larger than I expected. Since I'll be wearing heavier clothes under it, I'm hoping it will be OK.

The jacket is very light and truly waterproof. Black color is not really dark as I expected. Others seem to be good.

This raincoat has a really cute print and is well tailored...the adjustable snaps at the side give it a really nice shape. I had some difficulty zipping it up the very first time I wore it, which concerned me. But once I got it moving, it zipped up and down without a problem. And I haven't had any problems with the zipper since then. I am generally a size 4/6 and the small was a good fit.

I haven't actually had the chance to wear this yet but it fits great. I got a medium in black so I could fit a sweatshirt underneath if need be. I'm 5'2" and 135lbs and it fits great. I do have to put the adjustable waist buttons on the tightest clip to make it more fitted. It is long (completely covers my butt) but with leggings or jeans looks great. Great price for $55 in the black! Very happy.

Overall the Jacket was nice but thinner than I expected and a lot bigger than anticipated. I ordered a small and felt as though I was drowning in it. My usually size is a small. The jacket and design is super cute though!

I wanted to like this one, but unfortunately, it's going back. Ordered both the XS and the S in the Flint Grey. The XS fit better (I'm 5'5", 125 lbs. with broad shoulders). I thought for sure the S would fit me better, but the sleeves were way too long. Even on the XS, the sleeves are a bit long, but I see that as a positive. I liked the color and the feel of the material but there were a few parts that were not as functional as the Splash A Little jacket. The pockets are at an impractical angle so your hands have to go in through the side of the pocket, or straight through the top. It doesn't really match how you'd naturally put your hands in your pocket. So this one is going back for the Splash A Little jacket.

I bought this jacket last spring. I haven't really had a need to wear a rain jacket since I bought it. Well today I went on a walk and it started to poor rain and I was around two miles away from my car. I was very disappointed to find that my shirt underneath my coat was wet in certain area's in the front .I loved the look and fit of the coat but I purchased it specifically because it is supposed to be waterproof.

Or even water resistant. The jacket is darling, I got the blue and white in large. The medium was a little tight and the large a little big. Kept the large so I could layer underneath it . Bought for September travel to Iceland. It's a good windbreaker but there is nothing waterproof about it. Wore it yesterday and was soaked right through within minutes and I was cold and very wet. Posting from Iceland because I'm SO disappointed. It's really cute, but definitely not a raincoat!!!

I was disappointed. I read the reviews and I was hesitant to purchase. This coat is more like a windbreaker. Not for winter use. I will be returning this product asap. Never worn but when I pulled out of package I was SO disappointed!!!!

My daughter and I tried to move the bottom zipper up and it wouldn't budge. The top zipper moved, but, with a lot of tugging.

Was super disappointed that the zipper jammed so many times that it wasn't worth keeping the jacket. Returned it.

Though the picture of this item is attractive, the actual color and style/fit is NOT. The color is a VERY unattractive gray; and the fit is unattractive/unappealing.
