Pants are amazing, light durable material, omni wick, omni shade properties and they can convert to shorts when it gets to warm. Perfect for urban or rural use.

Love these pants, just ordered a second pair after my first time traveling with them. Very breathable and versatile. True to fit and perfect cut. Big fan.

Let me tell you a story of these freedom pants I bought a few weeks back... Let's set the sceen, it's a warm summers afternoon deep down in the south in the state of TN. In the middle of a construction site. By this time of day the inside of my britches are feeling pretty swampy. You can normally hear gators eating small pray with how swampy it is. However the day I brought these bad to the bone freedom pants out you could hear no gators this time of day, Only an eagle souring high screeching out the deceleration of independence. It was so breezy down there. By the end of the day the eagle swung back by with a case of cold cold beers to help celebrate a long construction day and cool pants. We talked about freedom for so long while drinking those beers that I forgot to go home I just kept working. The boss was so impressed that he ordered that every one of his crew shall have these freedom pants and now productivity is at an all time high here in the Deep South on our construction sites. If you are looking for cool freedom pants, well these pants are for you.

These pants are really lightweight and breathable. Super comfortable, stretchy, simple. I like everything about these pants....except that they have to be washed on the gentle cycle and have some extra care instructions. They'd be even better if they were wash and wear, and didn't need to be put in a separate laundry pile!

Our son needed wicking, cool pants to wear while hiking in the Amazon. These will be perfect. Light weight, quick drying and super for a thin build.

I wear these pants for work. Water resistant, comfy, good stretch and the fit isn't ridiculously tight.

Repeat purchase, in another color. I like the zipper on the side.

I had to return these because the size just wasn't going to work for me. One waist size was too tight, and the next size up was so large that the pants not only wouldn't stay up, I could take them on and off without unzipping. Both ran a little short. However, the material is a good medium weight for use pretty much year round. Slightly stretchy, lots of pockets, good colors. Quality construction, good looking. If the sizing was more consistent, I would have kept them. Maybe I just got an odd pair. The size rating option won't let you choose both too big and small, but that's what these two pairs were.

Nice trousers. I have never had a pair of trousers such as these. They are what I need now in my life.

I have purchased a number of Silver Ridge editions over the years and this has all the benefits of those pants, but also a little more give. I have a low waist which makes me wear the pants low so the extra give and stretch in the crotch area is nice when I crouch down or climb.

no Stretch band on waste as on previously purchased versions. material seems somewhat thicker than on previously purchased versions. would have purchased a smaller waste size but bigger can be adjusted with a belt

Bought these pants for sun protection while kayaking and am very pleased. They aren't too hot and dry quickly. Mesh pockets don't hold water. Stitching all seems solid and the fabric looks like ripstop with added reinforcement. I wish I had sized down from a 34 waist to a 32 waist, but they are still wearable.

My husband bought this style for a different color. He also has the Royce Peak II Pant and loves them, but wanted a type of khaki color. He prefers the fit of the Royce Peak Pant better. These in size 34 are just slightly tighter than the Royce, but he makes it work. Both pants definitely need to be more durable. He has no idea how it happened but this style caught on something and torn a hole on the side of the knee. Overall, great pants.

Crotch is a bit tight! I use them for hiking , so it doesn’t really bother me in the middle of the woods. Other than that, they work great

These pants are very comfortable and great functionality. The only negative I can through out is that the older fabric looked a little more professional. The fabric now is ripstop, or at least ripstop-like. The old version was smoother. This will probably wear better, but not quite as "business casual". Still love them.

These are great pants for hiking or just everyday use. They really are water resistant. I wore them while it was pouring and the water just beaded off. My only complaint is they are not warm, so they are good spring or summer pants depending on where you live.

I typically wear a 36 waist, but these weren't even close to fitting. Way, way too slim for this style of pants.

I am a very active golfer and need clothes to keep up with the every changing weather. These pants are water repellent, light and look great. The only thing i don't care for is the inner pocket which is a mesh material that tends to snag keys or tees...... Overall i would recommend this product.

These pants are great for outdoor work, they are thin yet durable. The cargo pocket is a good size, big but not too big. Only issue is a little wide in the opening at the bottom of each leg, a slight taper would make them perfect.

These were WAY too tight in the crotch (for my husband).

Just enough capacity with ability to stay looking good for active wear in hotter weather. Travels well to cope with everything including an occasional shower or spill(repels everything)!

Material was too silky and waist was not true.

I wish this was in the description. The pocket liner is a net material which I hate because my keys gets stuck in them. Otherwise the pants are good.
