I used to always wear the classic size 2 XW White Leather 624 sneakers for years. These new, lighter sneakers by NB are great,too and I have this pair in Black 1.5 XW and Navy. I just ordeed my second black pair since they fir perfectly ( but a half size smaller than the 624 Leather). I LOVE this shoe. The darker sneakers look better with jeans in the winter. I used to wear white, so I look better. Each pair of NB sneakers has a number attached to it, besides the appearance. THEY ARE NOT ALL THE SAME, so that's why I bought the second pair of these black style number 680. I haven't seen the navy again, so I think they change styles frequently which means that shoes that fit perfectly may not be around when you want to order again. BUY TWO PAIRS NOW if they are perfect.

New Balance are always my go to brand when buying sneakers for my grandson. They come in a variety of styles , colors and have wide width availability. They fit perfectly and last until they are outgrown. My grandson was so excited when he saw these new sneakers. He put them on immediately and went to the park to play. My preteen son loves these shoes and his previous pair. They hold up well to daily use. The Velcro strap makes them quicker to take off and on. A huge selling point for big kids in the go.

Bought them for my grandson whom I have been raising since his birth, now he's almost 12 yrs old in 6th grade. He says he loves the way they feel and look . He really loves the green tread. Everything is unique with these sneakers. I have bought NewBalance sneakers for my self for years , I used to pick them up in Mass. dist. whse. when I was a truck driver . These are made in America using American tech. , not to mention they are the best well made sneakers for your money. Support America , buy American made products when ever possible . My next pair will be bought soon, New Balance of course !!! One more thing I want to say. I have issues with my feet. Diabetes and a very bad back, what a combo of pain. When I first discovered N/B sneakers It was like heaven for my feet. I can't say enough good things about new balance shoes, give'm a try, I believe you'll love them as like I do. Honest

Nice comfortable shoes

My son has sensory issues with shoes an extra wide feet ,he loves these sneakers an doesn't feel like they need to be broken in.This is the 2nd pair we got in 2 yrs an will purchase more on the future.

These where for my 10 y.o. grandson. To me, the heel area appeared loose, but he absolutely loves them and says they're fine. We'll see. Nice looking sneak. He ran around with them on all day. They normally don't wear shoes in the house.

Comfortable, durable, great shoes. My son has wide feet and we have purchased these several years in a row and they do not disappoint. We got 9 months of wear out of them and they have been going strong the whole time,just needed a bigger size for growing feet. Well worth the money, true to size but I ordered a half size up for room to grow. New balance will always be my go to for my wide footed kid.

Great sneaker. The hook & eye closure holds tightly. The tongue stays up under the closure and doesn't slip.

We're on the second pair of these shoes with a very difficult toddler foot to fit. The child's foot will not even go in Crocs, he has a ridiculous high instep. As an infant his feet looked like cinderblocks, thankfully they are slimming out but still a hard fit. We had these and another pair of NB on him and at three he said "these are soft" and the others were "hard". Made the choice easy. He of course grew out of them before they worse out. Very pleased with them. He has never complained about the shoes.

My son has a very wide foot, and we have a hard time finding the perfect shoe. New Balance always delivers. He loves the comfort and support of this shoe. They hold up well to the everyday activities of a 7 year old boy. Would recommend them to anyone.

My son really likes these shoes. He used it for practice and completed a 3 mile run with it. Very comfortable and lots of support.

Liked shoes needed a smaller size

I love the fit of this shoe for my boys with wide feet. I have to buy the extra wide to get the actual fit of a wide shoe. The wide is not wide enough, compared to other wide shoes.

My son liked the shoes but felt they were a bit larger than his usual New Balance size. We kept them - he'll grow into them. They looked "cool" to an 8 year old.

This was the shoe that worked for us. It was wide enough. We also kept a tie shoe that was extra-wide that we can adjust with the laces to be a bit snugger over the arch of the foot.

They were for my 7 year old who has a wide foot. New Balance has always been a solid shoe for him and last beyond his brutal punishment. Typically the first to go is the heels, but so far we are good. The stitching is good, and I appreciate the color variety. Thank Zappos for delivering another great shoes.

I wanted to love these shoes. They’re nice looking, match most outfits, and have just the right amount of red for my son who loves red. However - they started to come apart after 3 days of wear. I was disappointed but just a little peeling at the front corners wasn’t enough to prompt me to return them. Fast forward 2 months and they have full blown holes by the big toes on both shoes. Really disappointed- my son (he’s 5) has never worn through a single pair of shoes before.
