This pair of pants has mesh pockets. Good for some things but not if you carry keys.

Size 32x30: Waist is tight has no stretch.
Baggy in seat and thigh, good for bigger men.
Slim fit styles all out of stock on line and outlet store.

pants are good looking, fit well, but have a problem: for some reason part of the seam on the inner side was cut for about an inch identically on both legs (loose threads are visible, so seems like it was cut for a reason). Relatively easy to fix, but can't say any good about quality if such work is required for a new thing.

Nice pants and fit well, but... The main front pockets are lined with a large hole mesh fabric the online pictures do not display. The slightest crouch or sitting position gaps the pockets open so the skin of ones legs and underwear flash for all to see - not a feature I favor in trousers. Sigh... They will be going back.

Pro:
The material seems a bit tougher than most of my other Columbia pants. I'm comfortable walking through minor thorns with these.
Con:
The legs are kinda baggy, and they are a bit long. (kinda disappointed with that, won't be wearing them to the office)
- otherwise good pants.

Not sure if it was how these pants sit on my waist or simply the cut and measurements, the 30 inch inseam fit me more like a 32 or 34.

Not any more
I had previously purchased 7 pairs of the original Royce Peak Pants between Sep. 2015 and Oct. 2018 from various vendors, all in different colors. They all fit the same: slightly snug around the waist (the stretch function was not in the waistband, but in the part of the garment below the waist), but that turned out alright as they loosened slightly over the course of a day's activity.
I was missing black from my collection, so I ordered that color and also shark in the "II" version. They were looser from the start, but I decided to give them both a chance on a day hike. They continuously stretched out, and after several hours had gone by, I had to insert a water bottle inside the waistband to keep them from falling to my knees. Measuring the waist against the previous version, they are about 2 inches bigger for the same tag size.
In addition, the pockets are now a fishnet mesh that easily tears and catches on key rings. The previous design also had a mesh design, but the weave was tighter and more durable. There is no reason to have a mesh pocket unless the product is intended for athletic workouts or immersion.
Since I wore them, they are non-returnable, so I will put them in my Salvation Army donation box.

I ordered the correct size, but these pants were huge! Think JNCO jeans from the 90's baggy. The picture shows what looks like a slim type fit. Very very baggy and sloppy looking pants.

Why would you put mesh pockets in so when you're sitting down you can see your underwear.
Bad design
