This is the 3rd time I have purchased these shoes and have loved them until now. The toe box on my 3rd pair is too narrow, much different than the previous two.

This shoe is great for about 2 months, but then the tread starts to separate from the sole. I’ve had two pairs both do this. Thinking it’s a design flaw with the glue/foam because I’ve got an older pair from 5 years ago that've held up just fine. Zappos has been great about fixing the issue though.

I've been buying mizuno since 2000. This was the first time i've had a negative experience.
The shoe just irritates my right foot, constant heel blistering.
Just an awkward shoe to live with. I will still buy mizuno shoes just not the creation or prophecy models.

I've bought mizuno since the mid 90's or so. This is the first time dissapointed. The previous model i bought was the Wave sky and it was fantastic. This model feels unnatural on the foot. Whats worst is i developed a severe heel blister on the right side. It has something to do with that aggressive design in the rear..
I will probably switch to another brand now - but thanks for the good memories i suppose..

I have purchased this exact model of shoe for years, probably owned 10 pair. Always felt perfect until this model. Something feels different. Running in a straight line is ok but any lateral movement at all and the shoe feels like it is going to roll over. I keep tightening the laces more but doesn’t help. Very disappointing especially for the crazy price. Will not purchase this shoe again.

The shoe is extremely uncomfortable at first feel. It is a lose fit with no stability. It hurts your arch and is not suitable shoe for all. It seems if your foot is not perfectly designed for the shoe, it will cause you pain. Do not recommend. Stick with wave rider.

I wrote an objectively negative review of these but Mizuno censored it. Said I am runner. Said they were painful shoes. Replaced them with Nike Streakfly. I could run again in peace. But Mizuno wouldn't identify me a verified buyer. Be careful with the reviews.

I am a runner. Plan and simple. I am embarrassed I bought these shoes. I gave them a solid try for 2 months. And two sizes as well to get them right. I couldn't. I suffered - they are painful shoes. Heavy. Inflexible. Feels like there is a metal rod in middle of the sole. Ruined my cadence. Hurt my knees and shin. Going back to Nike or Brooks. Save yourself the misery.

Mizuno has discontinued the Wave Creation. Mizuno puts American customers LAST--They updated and released Wave Creations 21 and 22 in the Asian and EU markets; but the Wave Creation is not even listed as a current model there now. Mizuno is just selling out their old/discontinued stock (without a discount) to our American market--BOYCOTT MIZUNO FOR PUTTING AMERICA LAST!!! PUT YOUR LOYALTY TO A BETTER BRAND OF SHOE!

I've been buying Wave Creations for over 10 years and have always loved the shoes and the way they fit. To my very disappointing surprise they change the shoe in many ways so the size I ordered in the past does not fit at all. What were they thinking?

I've bought 4 pairs of these prior and when ordering this time they didn't fit right and had no support, easy to tell since i still have old pairs that I replace for cosmetic reasons, not when they wear out. Customer service was rude and made me pay for return shipping, to make it worse they didn't provide a label so I would at least get their shipping discount like any other company requiring a customer to pay for returns, not that many do.

This is by far junk fall apart junk. May be the 20th pair of Mizuno I have bought and buy far the worst shoe sole coming unglued In several places soles worn out in break-in not even wearing them full time ,paint coming off (yes I said Paint), rubber above black sole becoming warn.

Ruined!! These were the only shoes I bought for several years. The new design is uncomfortable to the point of basically being unwearable. Please, please Mizuno if we need to adjust the size we order, or if you have realized your mistake and have an update coming out soon put it in the description of the website or find a way for Zappos to get us that information. Otherwise all of your loyal customers who used to order this shoe will write you off forever!!!

I have worn Wave Runners for years, when I received these the right shoe was put together wrong the arch was almost to the top of my heal, I tried wearing them for a couple days thinking it would level out but only make me start walking with a limp. Sent them back the left shoes was perfect? If I thought I would get a good pair I would reorder but at this price point I need to try them on first.
