I've been wearing Mizunos for running since I bought my first pair at a track meet in Eugene Oregon in 1996. I have worn a lot of different brands over the years and recently but I always keep a pair of mizunos. This is my favorite mizuno shoe that I have worn. I have a wide foot and high Arch and walk on my toes so usually I break down shoes really quickly. This shoe last and keeps it's support for much longer than any other that I have worn.

It's wondeful

Excellent running shoes

I purchased the all black Prophecy. The shoes are gorgeous. The Prophecy is the best running shoe there is for me. It offers support. It has cushioning. It is stable and firm. It is perfect. My shoe size is 8 1/2 so I get the Prophecy in a size 9. I wear the Prophecy every day for walking and I wear the Prophecy for running. I like to run on horse trails in Forest Park in Queens and also in the country. The Prophecy is the best shoe. I recommend it.

Best shoes ever

I use these shoes for distance running primarily on concrete. The difference between these and my old running shoes is night and day. The fit is snug through the midfoot so your feet never feel like they're sliding around in the shoe. The design of the shoe allows a softer strike and minimal impact, preventing muscle and vibration fatigue that often accompanies running on hard surfaces such as asphalt or concrete. I've put about 100 miles on these shoes since I bought them and they have proved to be quite durable. They are extremely comfortable and really didn't even require a break-in period. I've struggled to find a pair of running shoes that would properly support me on distance runs, but these are the best I've had so far.

Purchased for running, brother loves his purchase

Ordered for my brother - he quotes: Say the delivery service was good considering overseas shipment . The shoes and size are perfect and yes I'll order again in the near future as my brothers wife wants a pair

I bought these for my husband....he loves them and he said they're really comfy. It's a good buy.

Comfortable but expensive

The arch is not quit in the right place other than that excellent shoe. I only purchase Mizuno

Seem to have the neutral, cushion I loved in my previous Wave Prophecies. These are made in Vietnam and are more snug than the perfect fit (for me) that I always found in the previous made-in-China Muzunos. Build quality seems as good, though, so far.

Unfortunately the right shoe is a little tight. I think with this shoe construction it may be better to get the shoes in a shop compared to online

I will train mostly on treadmills - 3-4 times per week (3-6 miles per). Then I will run in road races. The shoes are extremely comfortable standing still. However, I will get numb feet (balls), when I hit 25-35 minutes running. Not sure what is different about this shoe. I have been purchasing Prophecy since the beginning... I will keep at it as see if they just need to be broken in?....

Great running show but keep in mind they run small so get one size bigger. Also, they are pricey shoes but it's all I run in.

Best shoes for running I have ever tried. But they're pricey.

I walk and run in these shoes. I have been using Mizuno shoes for many years. I find this shoe to be very small for its size, all my other shoes are size 10, I wear size 9 in regular shoe and 10 in running shoes. This pair is very tight and not asa comfortable as other shoes from Mizuno. The shoe does have great support.

Great running shoe but too pricey!

Bought the Prophecy 8 because my previous experience with Mizunos was nothing less than amazing. I raved about how my old Wave Creations had a nice wide toe box and had expected these to be the same. Unfortunately, no store in the Charlotte, NC area carries these shoes and very few (even the high end running stores) carry Mizunos at all. I bought these online and was disappointed at the snugness of the toe box but hopefully they will loosen up as I break them in. Although I would recommend these, and I did sell another style on one of my fellow Soldiers, I would warn others about the tightness.
