I run 60-70 miles a week. I transitioned from a women's 11 to a men's 9.5 because I needed a larger size. The shoe feels great.. No issues! I've been running in Mizuno shoes for 20 years

I'm 44 years old 6'3" 275 lbs running 2 to 3 miles a few times a week. Best running shoe ever for a big fella. Highly recommend!!! I went thru the knee & shin pain with other top brands.

As someone with wide, flat feet I have to find shoes that are lightweight yet supportive of my fallen arches for treadmill use. After trying the top shoes of most other shoe brands over the past couple of years, I decided to try the Mizuno Wave Prophecy 8. I was a little worried when I heard they are on the heavier side, however they are much lighter than I expected (I've tried a different brand that made much heavier "supportive" shoes that were uncomfortable). After a couple weeks' use on the treadmill, I can gladly say that these shoes are the first that give me zero pain in my feet during and after a run. I am mostly a mid-foot (sometimes heel) striker, and the design of the sole bounces with each stride. I was used to the foam sole shoes of another brand, which are comfortable to walk in but not run. These Mizuno shoes, however, have given me an experience with running that I never thought I would have: the joy of exercise without the associated pain. Thank you!

This is my 6th pair of this particular model. They work great for keeping my Plantar fasciitis at bay. Well worth the premium price.

Very nice cool style.

This shoe is fantastic. I'm a bigger guy at 6'2" and the stability and cushioning is just right. I like the ridgidity of the frame and support. The Wave Creation 20 rear cushioning compresses too much. The Prophecy keeps you stable and cushioned without feeling like you are sinking and using too much energy. It's a great performer. I do short distances as I'm newly training to go from couch potato to 5k by October and then 10k by Jan. Great shoe. Great price point on sale. At full price it's a out of my reach. But great shoe. I will update review after more miles put on the shoe but they have a great track record (pun intended) of quality.
