Great coat! Just a bit too thin to be wearing in colder weather though. Otherwise, looks super cute!

This is the perfect raincoat, great length. I like this way better than the short ones. I've had trouble with the zippers on thoses.

Trench not breathable at all. Sleeve length a bit long. Otherwise ok jacket.

The raincoat is really nice. However, the sleeves are really loose. Makes it a bit awkward but otherwise, great buy

I'm 5'8 and 160 lbs, ordered a medium, and it fits (so size down as the other reviews say). The hood fits completely over my head, so I have to disagree with others who said it doesn't give much coverage (and I have a lot of hair). The coat has very little shape and it's pretty thin. I live in Maryland. This coat may get me through the fall here but will require layering underneath and a scarf probably. I'm a little disappointed. Thinking about returning it.

Beautiful jacket, unfortunately, this mom bod couldn't rock it. There are adjusters on the cuffs but they don't do enough. I ordered XL but the sleeves were too long.

I love the style and length but sleeves are way too long down to my finger tips. Sadly I had to return it. It would be nice to have an option to choose petite sleeves.
Medium was tight around armpit area, Large size was much comfortable. It is suitable for tall person only not petite. :(
I would love to see more of this jacket length and style with plain style of short sleeves.
Height 5ft 5", 130 lbs.

I wear many mediums because my shoulders are wide and I want room for layering, however the sleeves are too wide, many inches too long ,unable to roll or shorten due to strap and buckle. The all over style seems to overwhelm my body. This jacket is not the typical North Face?

As someone else has stated, the hood is very shallow. The purpose of me getting a raincoat, specifically, was for occasions where I wouldn't want to have to carry an umbrella or allow me to not have to use an umbrella. The hood comes just to the edge of the hairline (very much just for looks). The raincoats I've loved in the past had big, deep hoods so that I could cover my face from the rain. If this doesn't matter to you, and you want a cute raincoat to use WITH an umbrella, this is it! If you're looking for functionality beyond a coat that repels water, this is not what you're looking for. Other than this issue (which is important to me), it's very cute. Love the ability to cinch the sides to fit your figure rather than be boxy. I agree also with others that the sleeves are a little long, and the buckles make them a little bulky, but I could have tolerated this. Due to limited functionality as a raincoat to not use an umbrella, I'm unfortunately returning.

While I had to send it back due to the hood issue, I liked all else about it, particularly how the back did not cinch up under my backpack, as some do, when I walked to work. Would be nice to have more interesting colors to choose from.

Overall this is a fine jacket, just not the right choice for me. My main design complaint is the buckle detail at the cuff. This is an awkward way to adjust a cuff, and just too bulky for moving athletically in the coat. My main complaint about the specific jacket that I received is that it was filthy - it was literally covered in dust, and the dust covered jacket was wrapped up in plastic, as if protecting the box from the filthy coat? I returned the filthy jacket to a store and then tried a clean one on at the store. Unimpressed with the online purchasing experience for sure.

Overall not very stylish. Beige color bland. Didn't like straps and buckled on sleeves. Had to return.
Ordered M and it was very loose. 5'4" , 135#

It is hard to find a petite size. Even your XP, it doesn't exactly fit into myself, but I can compromise.

I really wanted to like this coat. It looked stylish online and I appreciate that it does not have velcro to get stuck to my sweaters and scarves. I like that you can cinch the sides to make it a bit more tailored. Unfortunately it did not quite work with my body shape. I found the top to be too boxy for my small-ish shoulders and chest and I fear a smaller size would not fit around my wide hips (this is a frequent problem I have with coats). I would have also appreciated it if the hood were detachable so the coat could be more versatile. I loved the dark green color. The sleeves were a perfect length; I have long arms so sleeves that are too short are usually more common for me. For a different body shape, this would be a great coat.

I’m 5’ 4” and about 140lbs and I purchased a small. As other reviews mentioned, the sleeves are very long, they’re also very baggy. The shape of the coat is a bit odd, at least for my figure, it’s almost like a bell shape- not flattering for me. I love the length but found the buckles a bit bulky for my taste. My search for the perfect raincoat continues!

Pros: nice grey color, lightweight, tapered fit for a nice shape that isn't too baggy, waterproof.
Cons: at the waist and wrists, the jacket has large silver buckles (presumably to give it a more tailored fit) - I found these buckles to be a bit gaudy and they detracted from the otherwise classic shape and design of the coat.

I loved this jacket soooo much but the sleeves were way too long :-( The coat fit perfectly and very well made. I seriously loved everything about it but the sleeves came down to my finger tips! I think I have pretty average sized arms so I am not sure why this was. I did order a size XL so I would have plenty of room for layering and it fit everywhere except for the sleeve length. It grieves me to have to send this back because it is so lovely. I am keeping the Columbia Hidden Skies jacket instead.

I read a LOT of comments - particularly about the sleeves being long - but it looked so cute and thought I would try it (I purchased online and not in store). Unfortunately the sleeves were so long I felt it made me look a bit "sloppy" if I didn't have my hands in my pockets. I even tried adjusting the straps around the wrists. I'm 5'3" and bought the small, but the sleeves completely covered my hands and extended fingers. However - other than the sleeves I would say this is definitely a quality jacket - I really wish I could have made it work!!

This coat is not for me. The fit is right: I am 5'5", and 132 lb and ordered a medium. The cut is feminine. I don't care for the slit at the side and the extra length in the back. The sleeves are a good 3" too long. I had read this from previous reviewers and should have paid attention.
I had wanted a coat which also could be worn for a dressier occasion, and this is not it. I am returning it.

Very excited to receive my new jacket. However when I wore it to a school track meet and it began to rain. I found that it was not completely water proof. I discovered I was getting wet through the jacket and had wet spots on my shirt. The hood was great and the pockets are very roomy. The long length is also a plus. I just wish that it didnt leak.

Style and size were good, just didn't like stiffness and crickle noise of fabric.

I usually wear a size large but I have lost a little weight. Wanted this to have room to layer with a fleece during colder rain so I bought a large anyway but it's just way too roomy. I might try a medium, but my guess is it'll be too small to layer! Glad to see s lightweight trench back-I've been waiting! Delivers on style, weight, and length for covering your legs/bum from getting soaked.

Disappointed. Usually wear size XL so ordered this size but upper arms were too tight. North Face jackets always seems to not have enough room in the arms to wear sweaters or other long sleeve shirt underneath. Hope they change that. Not all ladies have skinny arms!
