If you are not sure what size to get maybe this will help. I am 5'4" tall, 130lbs, 36DD. The size Medium works over a mid-weight fleece. It's a tiny bit snug, but still comfortable. I would have kept the Large except for the fact that the waist was just too low. In some of the photos it looks like this jacket has a empire waist, it does not

I bought this trench for a trip to Iceland. I plan to wear it over fleeces or sweaters to keep me warm on their typically wet cold days. I tried the S and the M based on other reviews, and the S had plenty of room over my thickest fleeces. I could have gone down to an XS if I didn't want to layer under it. I am 5'5", 120 lbs, 34B. I like that the waist is cinched, the longer length to keep your booty and legs warm and dry. I also like that the NF logo is the same color as the jacket so just sort of blends in. Soft fabric and lined. I ordered the tan and green color but ended up keeping the green.

This is a nice lightweight jacket, but it also keeps you warm. Even though it's casual, it's very nice looking. I wore it to London, where it got chilly at night. I was worried it wouldn't keep me warm enough, but it did. I have a couple of minor complaints. One is that the inner lining is overlapping the seams on the sleeve cuffs and showing. That's annoying, but not the end of the world. It's the same material/color as the coat, so it's not very noticeable, but that craftsmanship is a little below what I'd expect from The North Face. Also, the zippers all have flaps over them to hide them, but because the fabric is so thin, it is very easy for it to get caught in the zipper. I just have to be careful about that.

After endless scrolling through every site ever looking for a cute rain jacket I saw this on a blogger and had to have it. I had scrolled through this jacket on at least three sites before the blogger sold me as the stock pictures don’t shows how cute this jacket can be. I am a size 8/10 and got the large. I find TNF mediums to be snug through my wider shoulders and D cup chest.

The fit finder I used directly on North Faces website recommended me to buy a size large but I bought a size medium based off my previous purchases with North Face. I read reviews saying the sleeves were long which I found true but it wasn't horrible and I always expect most sleeves to be a little long on me. I am 5'1 and the sleeves came to about my knuckles but it did not bother me. The jacket definitely would have been too big if I bought a size large. I wear a size 10 pant and the medium gave me a lot of room on the lower part but was somewhat tight on my bust ( I am a 36DDD up top). I always expect jackets to be somewhat snug on my bust so that did not bother me either. This jacket also has a great hood - even with my hair in a bun at the back of my head I found it to give great coverage over my face. I also like how this has a slight dressy look to it, I feel confident wearing this to meetings across town. Overall this jacket is great!

I love this North Face rain coat. I recently lost my last one at the airport and felt like, I can't live without it ... especially during spring when we're having so much rain and I need a hood for my hair! As soon as I arrived home, I ordered a new one and received it in no time. It's pricey but will last forever and it runs true to size.

I love raglan sleeves on coats. They "fit" such a wide range of physiques and this coat was no exception. I normally wear ladies size 12 and a size large was perfect. As some reviewers have noted, the sleeves do run long, reaching to my fingertips but I don't find this to be a detractor. The sleeves cover my hands during wet weather and keep my wrists covered when arms are bent.

I have purchased several "rain coats" as advertised, but they were not waterproof. I love this coat as it sheds the water immediately, is stylish, warm and easily packable!

I ordered this jacket after looking at it (several times) online. There were no reviews but from what I could see, it was just what I was looking for. It arrived today and I couldn't be more happy with my purchase. This coat is ADORABLE! I love raincoats that have a built-in hood. I don't care to have a zipper around my neck - the zippered on hoods don't ever seem to get a good seamless fit around your head/face. I purchased the grey color. It's gorgeous! The buckles on each wrist and at the waist are super classy. They are silver and not too flashy or bulky - yet useful. I have short arms so I tightened them up and they look great. The back dips down about a half an inch longer than the front so your behind is nicely covered. I can't wait to wear this jacket. The jacket has a nylon type lining so it's not for cold weather. However, I will be layering this with a zip up fleece. It's going to be just perfect for the rainy weather too. Thank you North Face for another amazing jacket! You never disappoint!

Very flattering jacket and happy with it. Only complaint is that it's not 100% waterproof. Some areas of the jacket does get wet and the water does soak through the material. Not a huge issue if you like using an umbrella as well.

I love this jacket! It is super cute and comfortable. The material is light weight. I would go up a size from what you would normally wear if you were planning on wearing this with a baggy sweater just to have a little room.

This jacket was a pleasant surprise. I'm 5'6, 155lbs and bought the medium. It fits perfect everywhere including the shoulders, arms, and sleeve length. I have broad shoulders. After reading the reviews I was a little concerned about those areas but as soon as it arrived and I tried it on those concerns disappeared. It's very stylish too! I love the buckles on the sides that give it shape and on the sleeves to keep the cold out. I bought this to take my dog out in the mornings as I live on a marina but this is so nice I can wear it for work and going out!

I LOVE this jacket! It's still chilly here (Minnesota), but not Winter weather. This jacket is the perfect "in between"! The fact it's waterproof is even better! I love to throw it on over gym clothes, in lieu of a chunky sweatshirt. It keeps me warm on the really windy days, & protects all of me from the rain. I love the deep pockets & full length zip, as well.

Doesn't swish when I walk, proportions are great although if you have broad shoulders, it might be a challenge. Love the coat though! and it really is waterproof
