I'm guessing that my daughter will wear it to (a) keep dry, (b) keep warm (c) look stylish. The coat looks as though it will pass in all three of these categories. Seriously though, I saved this email to respond to your company because it arrived before the coat did. I opened the package, inspected it for correctness of order (perfect, thank you) and then opened this review. Disappointed that I couldn't give you enough fun commentary to guarantee myself a prize. Oh well.

This trench coat was way beyond my expectations.Fit my granddaughter perfectly.She loved it and looked so stylish.Will be buying it for myself and my other granddaughter.just perfect.

This jacket is great to add to a dressy date night which chances of rain.

I bought this coat for an upcoming trip and was pleased that it arrived so soon and was exactly as pictured and described. The sleeves are slightly long but the buckles may help to adjust the fit. Love the double zipper to allow room to move or when sitting.

Wear this everyday. It's a wardrobe staple! Well worth the investment.

This rain trench is not only good on rainy daybut also chilly windy days. Very fashinable and looks special kind of the northface jacket. I love it!

I was really reluctant to order online and was really unsure about what size to get. I am 5'4" and 135lbs, hourglass shape. I chose this jacket because it had a winched waist and it was not a straight down style, my hips need a curvier style coat! The suggested size for me was medium but I went with a small and am so glad I did, even with a big sweater on underneath (lululemon scoops hoodie) there is still plenty of room! If I was in store I would probably even try on the XS and it might even fit better. I will keep the small because it doesn't need to be fitted but the sizing is definitely a little generous here, Don't size up! great jacket overall, I love it and am really happy with it as a lightweight casual coat. I don't have an opinion yet on how waterproof as it's winter now! I read some reviews about the buckles not being very nice, I think they look totally fine. If I was designing it, I probably would have an elastic cinch at the waist instead so you can adjust it quicker but the buckles are totally fine as well. I love the jacket, I'm really happy with my purchase and would buy it again!

Admired this coat on a co-worker while on a business trip and ordered one before I returned home. I couldn't be happier with the coat and have worn it several times already. It's stylish enough to wear over work clothes yet completely functional. Highly recommend!

I got this rain jacket to wear with nicer clothes on rainy days. It was a personal preference to not wear a super sporty rain jacket with a dress. It looks so nice and the black will go with everything. It's a great length and very comfortable. I can zip and button it even with having wider hips . The sleeves are pretty long, however, I think that might actually be nice when it's raining. Totally recommend!

Super stylish. I'd get one in every color and I'd wish there were more colors. I wish red was an option

I love that there is room for a sweater under this jacket. I usually have trouble finding a great fit because I have broad shoulders and solid upper arms. This is perfect!!

I wear this coat during rainy days in the city. It matches everything! Easy to dress up and down.

I live in Boston, MA where we get plenty of rain and decently high winds to compliment it. I was looking for a water resistant jacket that would be warm enough for fall rain with a hood that tightened down nicely. I've found all of those things in this jacket. I love the longer length that keeps my bum and thighs warm. The coat zips all the way up to my chin, and the hood, when cinched, doesn't blow off at all. There is an interior chest pocket that zippers, and both of the side pockets also zipper. The pockets also seem to be lined with water proof material. This is a fantastic fall and spring coat for northeast weather. If you live in the south, or somewhere without serious winter, this will likely be a great 3 season rain jacket. I'm so happy I ordered this.

I really enjoy this rain jacket. I pondered on the purchase for a couple days because I wasn't intending to spend this much, but I am glad I did. I love the length of this jacket - I have a winter jacket from TNF that's of similar parka style and it has never failed me. I purhcased the navy blue and it really compliments jeans and business wear. I do wish however that they would've had one more color, like a maroon or other shade of red. The only downside I have when it comes to TNF is the zippers; I have had bad luck with the products I buy having faulty zippers. Overall, this jacket is awesome and once again TNF has made a product that will keep me coming back for more.

I needed a new rain coat for my trip to Seattle. I was nervous ordering a M since TNF always tells me my "fit" is a L. But it fits perfectly. I will be able to layer light sweaters under this coat. It's very lightweight. Some of the reviews say that the sleeves are way too long, but I think they are only slightly long. With a rain coat you want the sleeves to cover part of your hands. The fit is adjustable around the waist and the sleeves. And the length is perfect landing mid-thigh. I am so excited to pack this coat for my trip! I'm 5'7" and 150 lbs.

I love this trench coat! The fabric and the color are truly beautiful ( New Taupe green), and the fit is perfect for my body type. Sturdy enough for hiking, and very fashionable for a stroll downtown. I finally found the perfect trench coat.

An easy to pack raincoat for when I go off on my travels.

I bought this in Taupe Green colour. I was looking long time for something like this. Coat looking like casual and can be wear with business clothes (finishing of sleeves), but because of hood and waterproof breathable fabric will be perfect for hiking without worry about the weather. We have very heavy rains this summer in Edmonton. I was wearing shorter NF jacket on heavy rain last week and all my pants was completely wet. I was dreaming to have jacket long to knee area and this my new one is like this. I'm also very happy about colour. This is neutral-like taupe-green, good if you like military style, but enough elegant and unique tone to wear to meeting with friends in the city. I get a lot of complements because of this coat. Looking perfect with pink, burgundy, indigo, light blue, pistachio, lavender and all colour tones what I have in my closet. Thank you North Face for doing something different that standard black and grey tones. Thank you also for taking care for details and good design. Thank you for ventilation in the back what allow to wear this coat in heavy rain during the hot summer.

Amazing coat to wear to/fro work in Seattle's rainy months. It's cute and comfortable and most importantly very functional.
