If you've had Doc Martin's in the past you know they have a heavier sole than most sandals but they are amazing! So glad I got them, got compliments on them the first place I went out to.

I’m very happy with my Nartillas and I’m confident that I was right to size down. I wear a size 8 or 8.5 shoe and wound up getting a 7 (or a 5 the way they size Docs.) It is important to adjust the shoestrings and straps for optimal fit/comfort for your foot. I wore them to work for an 8-hour day on my feet all day and they were great. Received compliments. “Are those DOC MARTENS???????” “Those are great!” Correct on both counts!

Run a little big but not a full size in my opinion

I love these. I ordered a size down because of the reviews and they are absolutely correct! Very comfortable!

I would recommend going one size smaller. I ordered my normal size (US 8), but it was way too long and there was about an inch of room between the end of my toe and the tip of the shoe. I then ordered one size down (US 7) and they fit perfect and there wasn't a weird large gap. Also, shoutout to Zappos customer service for being amazing with handling exchanges and sizing!

I wear a sz. *8.5-9... I ordered UK 6 (US 8) after carefully reading the reviews...most people ordered UK smaller sizes... because Dr. Martens run larger. My Nartilla, white lace up sandals immediately I received compliments. I wore them all day in great comfort ( the left Sandal is slightly loose around the ankle..but not a perfect fit there... nor a great hindrance). Shipping was 5-7 days I think. These are already my favorite summer sandals. I like the in others too!

This is a really nice looking sandal. Super comfy, lightweight and stylish. I wanted something I could take long walks in. The sole is bouncy and light, which is surprising because they are about 2 thick. I preferred these over the other Doc Martens because these allowed me to adjust the laces to fit my foot which is long, skinny and a high arch. The other Doc Marten gladiator sandals were too loose in the back and too tight in the front. It's not their fault because my feet are difficult to fit. I love these and hope to wear them with skirts and summer dresses.

I didn't know what to expect with these --I've only worn Doc boots--but they are AWESOME. Super light and love the adjustable fit (make sure you cross the ties in front then start wrapping around the ankle for a snug fit). I'm a true 7.5M and got the UK5. There was a little room at the toe but didn't look obvious, and this way I can wear with socks if I want.

These sandals took some getting used to because they are clunky, but my goodness are they amazingly comfortable and once I got over the clunkiness, I could see they really look amazing and add an extra flair to any outfit! I wish Dr. Martens would put this sole in all of their shoes!!

These are well made, comfortable and worth the money. They are however, at least a full size larger than stated. I am a very average size 8....my foot is not too wide, not too narrow. I read the other reviews and ordered a size 7 and it fit well, with room to spare. They are cute but not quite the look I am trying to achieve and am sending them back which is super easy and why I order a lot from Zappos.

I listened to ALL the reviews and sized down....they were too small. I normally wear a size 9, I ordered a 8 and my big toe was sticking out. If these came in half-sizes, it wouldn't be an issue sizing down. I'm returning them and getting my normal size, which is a size 9.

I followed advice of most reviews to size down. Sorry I did that. I wear a 11 in their boots so I ordered 10 in these sandals. They were almost too short. I have a long narrow foot with longer toes. My 3rd and 4th toes almost hung over the edge. The toe area is cut at a sharp angle so that was part of the issue. Unfortunately Zappos doesn’t offer an 11. Also the leather straps were very stiff and the stitching under the leather was rough on my toes. Bummed as the style was really cool.

They look great, great materials, but the laces need to be tied quite tightly so that the shoe stays on the foot and does not rub the corns. And this leads to the fact that the leg is stretched and when you take off the shoes, there are still traces of laces for a long time.

I love the look and style. It is also very comfortable. It is definitely big though. I am a size 10 in tennis shoes, usually 9.5 in sandals and i got a 9 and still have about 1.5 inches to spare in front of my toes. Still love them but would definitely size down.

Blisters like hell in the beginning! Great sandals!

Seemed to run a bit large, they are really cute but the laces come undone easy so I don’t feel like it’s practical for longer walks.

I wanted these to work sooooooo badly. They are so cute. But unfortunately the heel strap was too loose on me. I had about a 1/2" gap between the strap and back of my heel. Lacing through the tag was an OK solution, but they still just didn't feel stable enough. I docked one start from "overall" and "comfort" for that reason. So disappointing. :( I wear an 8 and I even tried sizing down to a 7 which just barely fit my foot. But the heel strap was just as loose as on the size 8. I don't get it. I wish they had made it adjustable.

I love this style so much. Easy to wear right out of the box. No break in period needed. Order 1 size down. I wear a true 9 and these have so much room. Not gonna return since they don't have the correct size available or the color I want. Just gonna have to tie them tighter.

Leather was really stiff and narrow at toe.

Size was good. Laces allow width adjustment. Two major problems, though. First, the sewing seams on the inside of each strap are really scratchy and irritating. Just wearing a few minutes around the house they started rubbing hot spots on my feet. Second, the footbed seems to be shaped oddly. Like the arch rise is set back a little too far, the dip for the ball of the foot a little too forward, or something. I found it immensely weird and uncomfortable. Very disappointed.

The shoestring lacing pressed and then cut into the top of my foot and was not the optimal size cord to keep a shoe this heavy on. It looks great as long as you are only posing in the shoe and not wearing it around town for hours. The lacing needed to be flat in order to make this work.

So uncomfortable. I wore them for five minutes and decided to return them.

I am a 7.5 so I ordered the 7, but it was still a little long. I loved the style but the leather was very stiff and rubbed everywhere on my feet. Way too uncomfortable. The ivory color leather has a pebble finish and is extremely soft and was very comfortable. I returned these.
