Comfort from the first wearing! This was my fifth try for a comfort walking/travel shoe. It has a Velcro strap so you can let it out if you have thick socks on, or your feet just need a little more space. Footbed is very comfortable and has enough cushioning and toe room. I LOVE these shoes!!

Flatter than the Dansko clogs in the arch, but big on all-around comfort. If you are searching for a shoe for hammertoes that doesn't bang around your toes, this might be a good option.

Great multipurpose shoe! Good for travel, as it can be a casual touring shoe yet dress up for dinner. Since I have range-of-motion problems with a hip that make it difficult to tie shoelaces, this Mary Jane style with Velcro is a great find. Comfortable right out of the box. I wear an 8; the 38 (7.5-8) is perfect.

The for and size was good even inserting orthodic. I Think the maryjane style, fabric and medium color make this shoe exceptional. They dress up a pair of jeans.

The shoe was smart looking and comfortable to a point. I needed a deeper toe box to accommodate the orthotic I wear. Was disappointed I could not keep these shoes.

I was immediately impressed with these shoes out of the box. Really good arch support, good cushioning, and so comfortable. I can see why some people may be bothered by the stiff shoe right under the ankle bone. I found that loosening the Velcro strap a bit eased up on that area so it was much more comfortable. I've been looking for a closed-toe shoe that is comfortable for spring and summer outdoors events, such as sightseeing, street fairs, etc., when I don't want to have my toes "vulnerable" to the elements (or being stepped on). These will be perfect. Very happy with them.

I bought these shoes in Savannah, Georgia while on a trip with girlfriends. We walked so much that my arthritic feet were screaming. I found a Comfort Shoe Store, bought these shoes and the fit was perfect. I have a narrow foot but inserted my orthodic and walked out of the store wearing them. I have worn them everyday since they were purchased and just ordered my second pair in a different color. I can't say enough about the comfort of these shoes - even with the swollen feet that I had in Georgia, they were a blessing.

This shoe is very cute, however, the sole is extremely hard. Was very loud walking on hardwood floors. A little softer sole would be perfect. Sadly, had to return.

These shoes are great. Super light and very comfortable. Excellent arch and heel support.

Beautiful summer shoe! But, sadly, it is narrower than my foot. I could not step down on it without pinching my toes. And the arch support was actually not in the location of my arch. Hmmmm.

Thank you Dansko, cute shoe for everyday comfort. My powerstep insoles fit very nicely, which is another reason I like Dansko. The clogs have a lot more support but these are perfect with insoles. Nice large toebox for comfort. Very pleased again, with Dankso and Zappos.

Another otherwise OK pair of shoes with white soles. Seen in person these are less attractive than I expected. I won't order more shoes with white soles.

Fit and size were perfect. I wanted to keep these. However I’ve developed arthritis across the top of one foot. The strap crossed over at exactly that spot. I couldn’t loosen it enough to reduce the pressure. Had I kept them, I’d have been in pain. Made me sad, as I loved the shoes.

I purchased these shoes because Dansko has quit making my 'go-to shoe', the Hazel style. This style is actually a little sturdier than the Hazel, which I like. It is also a little wider, which I don't like due to having very narrow heels. However, this is not enough of an issue to return them. I think they will conform better to my heels over time. I would recommend them as a good all-around shoe.

I love these shoes but they are just not wide enough. The velcro strap barely closes when the shoes are on my foot, and it would only close properly on a narrower foot. Also, these were uncomfortable at the point of my bunion. I liked them but they won't work for me.

I have other Dansko athletic shoes that care cute and comfy, but my teenage daughter told me these look like grandma shoes. Kiss of death, sending back.

Still evaluating. I rubbed up a blister on day 1. hope to be satisfied once I heal.

I ordered 3 brands of similar Mary Jane shoes. I have feet problems- bunyons, arthritis, a wide foot from foot surgery and I also use an insert for my arches. The top edge hit my right big toe so it was rubbing but I'm sure they would have been comfortable if I didn't have so many problems.

I am a devoted Dansko fan but this is my first non clog purchase and the shoes are meh....plenty of room in the toe box but rubbing the outside knobby bone on one foot and band across top is barely long enough to secure over my high arch top of foot. hoping increased wear softens them up a bit. not the level of comfort I expect from Dansko.

Compared to the Cob Hill, I did not care for this Mary Jane. It is a nice shoe but heavier and not as soft nor as comfortable. I wear thick socks because of fat pad atrophy and peripheral neuropathy, making the shoe too tight.
