Dansko is my go-to shoe. I am always excited to see adjustable straps on Dansko, since they allow a perfect fit. I jumped at ordering these shoes with adjustable ankle straps since I adore the Dansko Sophie design with their working buckles (and have four pairs of them). However, I was very disappointed that there was velcro used on the instep and ankle straps, as opposed to an actual working buckle on the toes. I put them on, walked around a bit, and the velcro let go on one ankle. Does not give me confidence that it would hold while striding outside of my bedroom. I bought these for travel, and do not want to constantly worry that the straps will come undone. I sent them back.

Really like this sandal, except I think there's a defect in the left one. My heel kept sliding off unlike the right. Had to return.

Love the style, and comfort is great, awesome arch support. However sizing is so off for me. I normally wear a 10, 10.5 in athletic. I had to go to the 11.5/12 to get a correct length, but then the Velcro didn’t fit snug enough to secure the shoe. For the price sadly no bueno.

The right shoe for narrow feet. I'm a true size 7.0 and the 38 (7.5-8) fit perfect. The Velcro straps provide a perfect fit. However, if you have thick wide feet the Velcro probably won't hold. Hope this helps!

I have very low volume feet, and chose these to be able to adjust tightness/width. Sadly, when I tighten the velcro (hook and loop) enough, there's very little area of hook and loop touching, so it's not secure, and there's a LOT of strap left hanging loose/floppy. I prefer actual working buckles bc I can add extra holes, so please keep offering this option, Dansko!

Once again, Zappos amazes me. I ordered my shoes on the weekend and had them by Monday afternoon. Wow, are they fast! Love Zappos and love the shoes, which were comfortable out of the box. The one thing that concerns me is the fake strap buckle that other people have mentioned. All of my other Dansko sandals have lasted for years, but I am worried about how long a shoe with a Velcro closure instead of a buckle will last. Other than that, the shoes will be great for work with a skirt and for casual situations with shorts, which is just what I wanted.

These are going to be my new favorite Dansko's. Love the style. Can go casual walking or with a dress. Super comfortable and stylish.

This shoe works wonderful for me because I can adjust the straps to my narrow feet. It fits me nicely. I normally wear a 9N.

Good shoe for a narrow foot - and that can be difficult to find in a Dansko. Also really cute. But I agree, I wish they would go back to buckles instead of the velcro. I have Dansko sandals with buckles that have lasted for years, I am not sure how the velcro will hold up.

I have worn Dansko sandals for years and love this particular base/sole design. Great for walking in NYC. Sadly, Dansko's quality/style has gone down over the last several designs using this base. This pair has fake buckles over velcro strips. Very disappointed. I expect more from Dansko.

I purchased Sacha in tan burnished calf. They are true to color and size. They are comfortable and I didn't have to "break them in", wore them for the first time-all day, for an entire week-no blisters, just comfort and style. I have had several pairs over the years and they have been comfortable and long lasting. Quality materials and well made. Highly recommend to anyone that is looking for a stylish heeledand comfortable sandal.

I have a rather narrow foot, so these fit me perfectly - this does not happen very often, so I'm delighted. Very comfortable, and very cute.

After trying on about 25-30 pairs of black sandals (4 from Zappos and the rest locally) that would be almost “cute” but most importantly keep my flat feet in place without wobbling off the side or sliding down the front, I finally found the pair. These are hip enough to wear in the city and casual enough for the grocery store and errands. Very comfortable. The straps are Velcro adjustable which others have commented was not good, but you can’t see it and it makes them even more adjustable if the leather stretches out over time. They’re slightly more expensive than Teva or Chaco but versatile for both skirts and shorts and will last several seasons. They’re essentially the summer version of their clogs.

The only thing better than a Dansko sandal is a Dansko sandal that has velcro straps vs buckles.

Wow. The way these feel is amazing. Perfect support. All three bands are Velcro so you can get the perfect fit. Very happy with the quality and feel.

The reviews on Danskos is correct, they run 1/2 size small. Once exchanged for the bigger size, they were a perfect fit! The Velcro adjustable straps at ankle and across the arch make for easy & quick adjustments. The buckle at the toe is also adjustable. Comfy insoles and with all the adjustable options- it created a perfect fit for my foot, which has been hard with other shoes since a foot & ankle injury 2 years ago. These are stylish enough for dresses too!

Absolutely loved this shoe! Very light weight with good arch support. However it runs at least a half size small if not a full size. Very disappointed...had to send back.

This is a beautiful shoe but it hurt the bunion on one foot. I noticed it within 30 seconds so I am returning it. It would have been perfect. I tried it in 2 sizes, both gave me the same result.

I loved these shoes and wore them all last summer. I put them on the other day and on one shoe the sole was cracked all the way to the footbed. I hope this isn't going to be a problem with Dansko going forward. I've always counted on them to be hard wearing and dependable.

The velcro does not hold & this can cause a fall for this reason I can only give one star. Very disappointed as I've only worn Dansko shoes for years. My velcro sandals are collecting dust in my closet.

I like these shoes, they seem to run on the smaller size but still fit ok so I kept them and wear them. I am not crazy about the Velcro straps but hoping they hold up well.

I love these shoes! I have narrow feet and have to wear orthotics, so I have to find shoes that I can control the width and must have good arch support. I thought I would only be able to wear the Season style. This shoe secures my foot in it with the adjustable straps. The arch support is amazing! I don't have to wear shoes that scream "old lady". I haven't had any trouble with the velcro on the straps. I like the look of the shoes on my feet.
