Wow, what a disappointment. Can't believe all the positive reviews. These are very bulky looking from the top of the foot to the ankle, and it would make sense if that was to allow some give when walking, but every step forces the short front of the boot to bang into the front of my ankle. No breaking in would fix this. Maybe because this boot doesn't have an elastic gusset, but holy cow this is the weirdest fit. Back in the box and back to Zappos they go!

I bought five pairs of frye booties to try. three Carson and 2 eylsa. Having three f the five open at the same time. terrible chemical smell. Once i put this pair back in the box, i could still detect a slight smell, but it did burn my nose. I need a smaller size, not sure if I want to go to the trouble, and get another
