Good boot

The zippers are terrible. I struggle to zip these boots up. I didn't try these boots on when they arrived and I destroyed the box. I would return these boots if possible. Poor quality boot. Very disappointing

The Carson piping is great! I got the white (which is closer to stone) but I love them. They are a bit stiff around the top of my ankle but I think the more I wear them it will get better. They are super comfortable and well made - like ALL FRYE BOOTS!

Got these in white and the color is a beautiful bone/light taupe that is slightly distressed. Gorgeous! These run true to size, I got 8.5 and fit great with room for thin to mid weight socks. Didnt need any breaking in, wore for several hours day one and they were comfortable.

Zipper was a bit stiff at first. Rubbed a little wax on it, works great. Boots are so comfortable, wore them right out of the box. Love them!!!

Comfortable and stylish

I really liked the look of this boot, but they were too tight on my toes. So unfortunately, I had to return them.

These boots are so comfortable! Love that they are plain and simple, yet stylish! They go with so much! I have 2 pairs: brown and black!

Fit too tightly for a 7,, also didnt get the gray suede color I had ordered so I am going to return these boots today.

After reading other reviews, I decided to go with my usual shoe size & am glad I did. They fit perfectly. I haven't worn them out & about bc it's hot but looking forward to fall. I chose the medium grey & really like the look w/jeans. Their construction is great right out of the gate & the heal height looks good and is comfortable for me. They're very soft inside. Would have preferred another zipper but easy enough to get on and off. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I bought a brand new unworn pair of these somewhere else and am disappointed that they only lasted about 8 months. I did wear them almost daily but I have had many boots that can withstand daily wear for years and minor repair. These boots already need to be resoled as I'm wearing down the back heel. They did look nice in the beginning but these are the type of shoes made for someone who doesn't do much or just wants to stand in a corner looking cute. I actually walk and use boots. If I had paid full price I would feel ripped off. I still sort of do, needing to spend time already shopping for a new pair of boots. The leather quality is decent. I'm having trouble with one of the zippers though and even if I got them resoled the shape is a little dumpy now from wear.

They are cute and I had high hopes for them but when they arrived I tried them on and the opening around my ankle is so stiff and narrow that it cuts into the skin above my ankles every time I take a step. It hurt. The leather is very stiff. Had to return.

The boots are very hare to break in. I tried to break in for 6 weeks. They feel like they dont bend with your natural gate. It appears as though I am walking flat footed - think bricks on your feet. I emailed Frye with my issues but it was a non-refundable Issues since they had been worn. I was disappointed. They offered to help assist in a resale - we shall see how that goes. I can not recommend these boots even though they look great they are not very comfortable.
