These are GORGEOUS and fit great. I was worried about the tapered toe squishing my toes but it is very adequate in width. I’m often a size 10.5 in boots but the 10 fits as if it was custom made for me. I took 1 star off because as others have stated, they are slippery. I have wood floors and had to shuffle around because I was afraid of slipping. Will try to scuff up the bottoms on the pavement outside.

these boot fit my foot, however the top of the boot hit on my ankle and was uncomfortable on my ankle. over time they may have softened, but I didn't want take that chance. I've owned multiple frye products and they last forever!

I really liked these boots but I couldn't get past the strong leather smell so they are being returned.

The boots you need- maybe not as much fun as the boots you want though. Super basic cute little black boots that I wish I'd bought 4+ years ago but I never found the right pair. These run BIG and NARROW which is confusing. I went down a 1/2 size from my usual (which I almost always do with Frye so if you are a regular with Frye, choose your normal Frye size). They still seem long but the toe width is snug enough I don't think I could have gone down a full size. (I am an 8.5 or 8, always size 39... I bought these in an 8 and they fit comfortably with warm wool socks)

Love everything Frye. But my feet do not. Beautiful bootie. Just not comfortable for me.

Maybe I’m old school but is there no quality leather anywhere? These were so stiff and once I got them on, it was worse! I could tell they were not going to ‘give’ and wonder if a size up would’ve helped. The zipper was SO hard to unzip; wax may have helped. Still looking for a good leather bootie…

I own three other Frye boots and love them. These booties are really beautiful but just didn't feel right on my foot and ankle. I'm sad but I'm returning them.

I agree with others the sole is way too slippery to wear. Trying on, almost fell on the carpet. I'm not sure why a shoe maker would make soles so slippery. As always, love Zappos fast, dependable service!

PROS ~ True to size Stylish Great Frye leather quality as always CONS ~ Be prepared to replace the slippery no gripping terrible to begin with thin sole. I wore right through the soles immediately the first day I wore them. Now I am looking for a good cobbler....

Good all around but 1/2 size large. Getting new size hope it works.

I normally wear a size 8. These felt very narrow and tight.

I love the style! I wear an 8 and ordered an 8. Worried I should have gone up a half size but they’re fine with thin socks. I ordered suede and unfortunately, while washing my hands, a few water droplets landed on one boot. So I immediately ordered Frye pump water repellent. Hope it’ll cover the stains. Considering the price it’s a bit disappointing they aren’t already treated for water resistance.

These booties reflect the quality and style the brand is known for. Gorgeous leather throughout. I decided not to keep them since I was looking for something a bit more rugged, and I think I'd regret it terribly if these beauties got scratched up!

I love these boots! I wear a size 10 so that is what I ordered. It was about 1/2 size too big.

You simply can’t go wrong with Frye boots or booties! The leather, workmanship, fit, comfort & classic styles are incomparable. The Carson Piping bootie is perfection! I’m mostly a solid 8 1/2. The 8 1/2 was a perfect comfortable fit. I ordered in both black & brown. Worth every dollar as they will be worn & will last for a very long time!

These well quality beautiful leather, very comfortable out of the box. Style will goes with everything. But, for now, didn't fit my needs.
