I'm leaving a review bc I really count on customer reviews to choose a shoe style and size. First, I like this sandal for many reasons, however I do think the sandal runs about a half size larger, and it has a wide toe bed for a wider foot. I'm worried that a whole size smaller would be too small so I'm keeping the bigger size. I have a wider foot that generally always fits into a regular size shoe, but I noticed there's more room in the toe than usual which is nice. I bought these sandals to walk all over Europe. I used to exclusively wear NAOTs but they haven't been working for me lately. I was a little worried that the arch support wouldn't be enough. It's smaller arch support than NAOT but it's working for me. I love the velcro on the front and side straps. It allows me to get the fit exactly right. If my foot wiggles at all, I usually get a sore on the bottom of my foot, so this design enables me to get it as tight as I can. Really happy I happened upon this sandal!

I bought these shoes as one of two pairs I will be taking to Europe for four weeks. I travel a lot and know what will and won't work for all the walking that comes with travel. I also have had trouble with my feet/knees all my life (flat feet, heel spurs, knock knees and arthritis) so needless to say the quality of support and comfort of shoes really matters to me - more so than style sometimes. I actually went to my local shoe store looking for options and tried these on and fell in love. Although they did not have them in my size in the color I needed, I knew Zappos could get them to me stat. These shoes will be ideal on my trip where I will be walking many miles a day: they have good support for a relatively slight looking sandal, the foot/toe bed is stable and plenty roomy so even if my feet swell I won't have any foot meat hanging over, and the straps (and well disguised velcro closures) are very comfortable. I have several pairs of Danskos which can sometimes be heavy but these are really light. Two thumbs up from a picky traveler.

I wore them around the house for two days to "break in" a bit and since then have walked 3-5 miles at a time in the city in these sandals with total comfort. They are also stylish - more feminine on my foot than Birkenstocks. Great cork soles that provide more support than you might think with a more streamlined-looking sole. Perfect for my wide toe and narrow heel. There is just enough extra velcro on the strap for my narrow arch/mid-step to work with minimal strap overhang. I have the coral waxy burnish and it's gorgeous - looks great with black and all outfits. Love Dansko.

As with all Danskos, a 42 in this sandal fits my size 11 feet (not the recommended 41). The footbed seems comfortable, especially for a shoe with a fairly low heel. There will be a little break in time for me with the front strap as it is somewhat stiff right out of the box but I think it will be fine. Great to have all straps adjustable.

These are cute and I believe they run true to size. I returned because the thin straps weren't comfortable for me. I ordered a pair with some cushioning there instead. Also the Velcro closure didn't seem very strong. I wanted to love these but need something more substantial. Side note: Zappos customer service is the absolute best. I was able to return and try another style quickly and painlessly. Thank you so much Zappos

I thought this sandal looked downright ugly on my foot. I was also mistaken in thinking that it reddish. The coral is actually a terracotta brown. Returned.

I purchased the sandal in brown. It’s a nice medium color & will go with anything. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the entire sandal has Velcro adjustments. The toe bed was too wide & when I started to tighten the buckles that’s when I discovered the Velcro closures. You can’t see the Velcro at all so the sandals look stylish and not in the “comfort” category. They seem comfy, however I haven’t had a chance to wear them as it’s too cold.

I wear a 9.5 and a 40 in almost every brand. A dansko 40 has always been too small though: too narrow and too short in the footbed. I’ve never been able to make a Dansko sandal work. The Rebekah runs a little bit large though and the 40 is perfect. I bought the navy and I only wish the buckle were silver instead of gold. Cute with jeans, cute with shorts. Nice support and they are lightweight. Im keeping them.

I like this sandal as much as I disliked the Lou and Lindsay. The cork bed feels nice, the straps do not dig, and the toe area is wide enough for me.

Passed the teacher test! After walks around my classroom all day, my feet feel great. Cute and comfortable

Great shoe but NOT the color as shown (see below). Keeping the shoes but disappointed that not a dark brown as advertised. This is the first time I have tried Dansko and I struggled with what size to get when ordering as I wear an 11 and in all other European shoes a 42. According to Dansko, I should have ordered the 41 but I gambled and ordered the 42. Glad I did as I think the 41 would have been too short. In my favorite brands, Ecco, Josef Seibel, Born and Clarks, I wear an 11 and in Ecco the 42 is the most perfect fit. If you wear a 12, sorry, this Dansko will be too short. While these shoes are comfortable and purchased to wear to work, I probably would not wear them if I would be walking for hours due to the thin strap around ankle and there is no cushioning at back of the heel.

I love these sandals because I can adjust the strap near the toe. I have narrow feet and it's hard to find sandals in narrow widths. With the Velcro strap I can make the fit exactly how I want it. The strap around the ankle is also Velcro making adjustments there much easier than a buckle.

The most comfortable sandals I have ever bought!! I just love them!! I am very fussy about how a shoe fits and the comfort of it. These are the best fitting sandals and the leather material is top notch. ( no breaking them in) I am thinking about getting another pair. You can wear them for dress or casual.

I love these shoes. I am going to order more. One of the best shoes I've ever owned. I really like the many adjustable options--will wear them in the winter with socks.

I love these sandals. I have a hard time finding a comfortable, low heel shoe that is stylish and can be worn with dresses, crops, jeans or pants. These fit the bill. Love em!

I ordered these in the denim blue. They are very cute and comfortable. I love that they have velcro adjustment instead of buckles. So much easier to manage! I would love to have these in black as well!

LOVE these sandals! Not specifically "W" but fit my very wide feet comfortably with the straps all the way out (a *tiny* portion of Velcro shows, but definitely not noticeable). Yes, Velcro... but VERY strong and straps don't move AT ALL. The low arch is perfect for my flat feet and positioned exactly right -- if you prefer a more aggressive arch, they might not work for you, but they're perfect for me (and very cute)!

Very comfortable and look very cute with a dress or shorts. Can walk anywhere in these!

I've been wearing Dansko for 15 plus years but this is my first pair of Dansko sandals. I really like them and no issues when I wore them the first time. I feel like I could use them for walking but they are more a casual/dressy sandal for me. They are nice enough to wear with a dress. I think I'm also going to get them in the brown.

These sandals fit great and had plenty of support for walking. I was a bit concerned about the Velcro, but it is sturdy enough for walking in comfort. I wore these on vacation and walked 6 miles without any issues. Definitely recommend.

Like that both the ankle strap and toe strap are adjustable. Also like that the straps are lined for more comfort.

I have a very wide foot, so have to be careful when ordering a “medium-width” shoe. Ordinarily, Danskos with Velcro fasteners accommodate my extra width, and I’m happy to say that these sandals do just that. I ordered my usual size—38–and although they almost seem a little long, they are comfortable and I think will work very well for me this spring and summer. The cushioning and arch support are excellent, which I have come to expect from Dansko. Well done!

I love these shoes. I've had a couple foot surgeries and I have a really hard time finding something comfortable and cute. These fit the bill. They provide a lot of support and the straps are soft and adjustable.
