I buy a pair of the gold strobe every year as my summer shoe and to use while in my boat. Every year up to this point, they have been outstanding quality and craftsmanship. This year, my sole insert came wrinkled and scrunched leather. I thought it would flatten as I walked in it but it hasn't. Maybe I just received a poor pair, but never have had that happen before. Check the inserts!!

These used to be my favorite and now Sperry cutting costs by giving all shoes half an insole that peels back after wearing them and causes irritation it is just ridiculous for price. I've had gold cups for decades and this is the worst iteration!
