These gold cup boat shoes are tremendous. They have felt great from the first time that I put them on. They get more comfortable each time I wear them. I have worn sperry s for years and the gold cup ones are well worth it.

Pros: -Very well made -One of the most comfortable shoe you will ever own -Stylish (James Bond wears it!) -Great value for your money Cons: -For flat footed people, the Med width is a tad to narrow. I was introduced to SPERRY products for the first time by well none other, James Bond. As an avid collector I was so impressed by the quality of these shoes. They are so soft and just adapt to your feet for superlative comfort. In addition, these shoes will be in Bond 25, and will most definitely be a sought after collectors piece. Thank you SPERRY for this shoe!

great for feet that need coushining

This is by far the best shoe I've ever worn. I've gotten many compliments on them. They are a true piece of craftsmanship. I've been considering gold cups for a while after wearing regular Sperrys for a while and am so glad I've finally made the jump. I will be buying gold cups for now on. They fit great, feel great and look great.

These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. The style can be paired with almost any outfit. Stylish, comfortable and great quality.

The grey color is great and the extra comfort is a plus.

What I like the best of these shoes is that they can be at the same time casual and somewhat elegant. When I travel I can wear them during the day and in the evening for dinner with a pair of black trousers.

The leather is super soft, it is stylish and goes with practically everything. You can dress it up or keep it casual. Love these shoes.

I became a Sperry fan when I bought my first pair back in the late 70s, and had a few since then. This is my first Gold Cup A/O and just like before, the shoes felt comfortable right out of the box. The leather is supple, the cushioning provides all day comfort and the craftsmanship is top-notch. It certainly will not be my last Gold Cup. Best boat shoes in the business.....since 1935!

One of the Best shoes ever-- I'm on my 3rd pair.

I bought the Rivingston in grey, which I think is a very neutral color that goes well with a lot of different clothes. The materials used on the Gold Cup shoes are noticeably nicer than the standard AO boat shoes. Everything about the shoe says luxury. Definitely worth the extra price over the standard Sperry shoes. Fit and finish are excellent, and they are very comfortable. I use mine for work and they've been amazing on my feet, even after a whole day of boating and walking around on the docks.

Kidding aside, a typical Sperry boat shoe with a pedigree: top-tier leather, superb construction, first-wearing comfortable. I honestly don't know why other makers even try to replicate. In black, one could pretty much wear with a suit. But looks great with anything. I'd say I'll be back, but I've never left!
