This is my first pair of Olukais - I was specifically looking for great house shoes for the summer. Something to throw on quickly to walk to the dog but would also be serviceable for lunch somewhere after a day out on the beach. These fit the bill perfectly. I cannot speak to durability since they are essentially new, but a few things to consider: I found them true to size. My foot is a 9.5, I typically wear a 10 in athletic shoes (nike/adidas/NB) and 9.5 in dress shoes or boots. The 9.5 fit perfectly. A few other Olukais are a bit wider (think altra running shoes) which I believe some people prefer. The Alapi Li's are a bit sleeker and narrower which, to me, makes it more versatile (think more espadrilla as opposed to moccasin). The lack of width doesn't bother me, it actually makes me feel more locked in and secure, but this is a subjective preference. They're not terribly easy to slip on and off. This is, at least, a one hand operation in putting these on. You can't wiggle your way into them from a standing position, however, when on (with the heel up) they're super secure. Heel down, they're obviously easy to slip in and out of, but they're significantly less secure. Walking the dog or fetching the paper this way is totally fine, but any sort of extended walking or lateral movement and you're losing (at least) a shoe. Lastly, not too much cushioning here. Don't expect a running shoe type plush ride. The feel is firm, but supportive. I'm ok with this, but if you purchased expecting a memory foam type feel or even your typical soft sandal cushioning, you won't get it. This isn't necessarily a bad thing - just be aware of what it is. All in all, I am pleased and keeping them - hopefully the durability proves to be a non-factor!

Love the design but was much narrower than I expected. Maybe I'm spoiled by the extra room in their Moloa shoes but had to return these.

I bought these for my husband to take on a sailing trip. He tried them on and proclaimed”I may sleep in these!” He thinks they are very comfortable and I think they look great. Terrific purchase!!!

Great. Very comfortable. I have put several miles on these on a cruise.

I have moderately high arches. These shoes supported my arches extremely well. I was very impressed. They are good looking as well. I am a woman and wanted this style because my husband had some similar ones (the Nohea Moku) that I liked very much.

Fit was really good. I wear a Nike 12 and ordered an 12 in these. They have a narrow look but don’t feel narrow. Fit just great. They look just like the pictures on Zappos, my wife doesn’t like the look of the no-tie laces.

The arch support is unreal! I could/would wear these to hike, bike and run. The standard arch support is the best that I’ve encountered. These shoes are AMAZING. Plan to buy nothing but this brand from now on.

I used to wear the flat sneakers like vans, converse, and DC than moved on to Simple shoes. As I got older I realized the more I am on my feet I tend to heal down when I walk and with high arches found walking long distances tiring. My feet would ache. Moving on to simple shoe it was a little better with decent arches but found after a few months of use my heal would cut into the hollow cushion. It has been a bout a week now and appears the problems I have with the other shoes might be the solution for my feet. The arches are so conforming and it appears the sole is a solid cushion. I also purchased it because it looked very nice.

I loved the look of the shoe. But, it fit very tightly because of the narrow width.

I wish I had ordered this in a wide rather than standard width.

These are awesome - comfortable & stylish. They don't feel great with the heel "down" but in a pinch nice to have sneakers that double as slides.

I have never been disappointed in OluKai shoes or flip flops, but these are my absolute favorites. Over the past few years, I've bought several pairs. Incredibly comfortable, breathable, and wearable with almost anything.

Fit and size were perfect. I love these shoes, especially for hanging out on or near the beach.

These shoes are awesome. Very comfortable. I'm surprised that more reviewers didn't think they run large. For Nike, Asics, Adidas, Saucony, and Brooks I wear size 11.5 but for these shoes, 10.5 is the right fit. Also, another reviewer mentioned that after wearing these shoes without socks the shoes smelled bad. I've been wearing them without socks all the time and have not had any issues with odor.

Super comfortable from the very start!

My second pair, fit and comfort is great. I wear them from mid spring right up until New England winter starts.

This is my second pair of this shoe. I went back for a second color because I liked it so much. The fit is loose and comfortable. It's definitely not a running shoe. But, it's a great everyday sneaker!

I purchased these to replace some canvas deck shoes. I am a 9 1/2 D/Medium. So I’d consider them very slightly smaller. But, I believed going up a size would make them too large so I kept the 9 ½’s. I’ve been wearing them almost everyday for a week. They’re very comfortable and I enjoy the change in style from a traditional canvas deck shoe.
