My son has liked OluKai's Nohea Moku style and decided to try something different. He has a wide foot, and the Alapa Li are a little narrower and stiffer, but I think they will break in fine. He's satisfied with the style.

great comfy, knocking around slip on shoe. Well constructed. decent support. would only use for light otdoor walking, mailbox, food take-out. great in house support

A long term fan of the Manoa shoe (no longer sold by Zappos), this shoe is just as comfortable, but has a decidedly geriatric look. I like the concept of the elastic laces, but overall, the shoe is bulky looking on my feet and kind of Sketcher-ish.

My husband needed a pair of slip ons and really liked this style. However the shoe is VERY narrow and runs small. He couldn’t get them on at all. Returning.

Unfortunately they did not fit me. The 13s were too big and the 12s were too small. I was disappointed I could not get these in my size.

Very stylish, and the drop down heel is great for either sliding in without breaking down the back or for wearing as a slide. Lots of reviews stated a fit true-to-size, but the pair we received definitely ran large, by somewhere between 1/2 to 1 full size, which was enough that they wouldn't work. The OluKai video would make someone like my son believe that these shoes are a great choice for active outdoor adventures, but in person it was clear that the 'Alapa Li style is not going to hold up to rough terrain and heavy use. This is not an athletic shoe. It is a fashion shoe.

I always wear short socks with my shoes and these just sit way to low. Meant to be worn with no socks. My bad.

Larger than standard size, esp if barefoot.

They didn’t fit. We’re to small. 10.5 was to small to get my foot in and all other 10.5 from them fit fine. Just odd.

I ended up returning these. They were uncomfortable while walking during my try-on session. They also felt narrow on my feet, which is rare. I could see these being useful as water-friendly beach or pool shoes, but for the price and limited use case I couldn't justify keeping them--especially since they would be painful during normal use.

I wasn't crazy about the look and style. Think there are better options out there.

The flip down heel has failed with very little wear / use. Bought 10 months ago and haven't worn all winter.

Flat shoe, no arch support.

The shoes felt great, for A MONTH until they FAILED !!! After wearing for only a month the side of these shoes popped. If your going to wear these as casual shoes and not do ANYTHING then they may work well for you. If you plan to do any activity they will fail. The only saving grace is the Olukai warranty, but we will see how Olukai CSR deals with this issue. These shoes are NOT recommended.
