Huge on my foot, really strange because the flip i ordered is the same size yet too small! Sending both back. It's also too "Squishy" for my pronating foot that requires a more firm platform. Also strange because last year a prior iteration of this sandal was the only thing I could wear comfortably when I had plantar fasciitis!

This shoe fit good but wasn't what I expected from a shoe advertised as a recovery slide. I like the rocker bottom and limited flex throughout the bottom of the slide, but the rubber that it is made of is not soft in the foot bed. After miles of road or trail pounding, if I am needing a recovery slide then I need more cushioning and not hard rubber. Disappointed and will be returning.

The US sizing is way off on this sandal. I ordered a 9, which is my smallest sandal size, but this sandal was way too big. On the box it said US 9, but it also said EU 41 1/3! EU size 41 is usually 10 or 10.5. US 9 usually corresponds to EU 39 or 40. So the EU size is correct, but the US size is not. So order at least 1 size smaller than your smallest sandal size in US sizing. (FYI, my Hoka Bondi size with socks is 10, my smallest barefoot sandal size is 9.) Other things to note - this sandal has a serious rocker bottom, much more so than the Hoka Bondi. And they are very soft and squishy. So if that's what you want, and you get the right size, they should be great.

I have plantar fascitis and like to wear sport sandals around the house to give my feet a rest. I buy Hoku's to run in and love them. These are very cute and other reviews said they were great for relaxing your feet. I found them much too squishy and not structured enough. I thought that these would have support similar to their running shoes but it is not enough.

My foot is still screaming at me for wearing these shoes. I don't believe it is the shoe. I believe my foot pain is from plantar fasciitis and that these shoes were not helping but causing more pain. The shoes are not pretty but they are decent looking. I believe if they had not aggravated my foot I would have kept them. I thought perhaps I could use them all summer for working in the garden. But I have no idea when this pain will be gone if ever and I chose to send the shoes back.

I love Hoka and was excited to try these. My other slides are so flimsy the toe bends backward and I trip 15 times a day. These are more solid and would be perfect but they're wide enough to fit two of my feet in one shoe. I wanted them to work, but no amount of scrunching my toes could keep them on. To say they are wide is an understatement, and I do not have a narrow foot. I chose a 9 (I wear 8.5, 9 in running shoes) and am hesitant to try the 8s but may give it a go. Meanwhile, these paddles are going back. - On another note, Zappos is AMAZING. These arrived less than 24 hours after ordering, during a global pandemic.

I really liked the previous version of the Ora. But they resized it with this new version, and it is way too wide for my average width foot. The 8 was wide, but wearable but was too short, and the 9 was the right length but so wide the shoe wanted to fall off my foot. I wish Hoka One One would redesign the Ora again to fit average width feet!

I had the previous version of the Hoka One One Ora recovery sandals and loved them. I wanted to love these, too, but the sizing was odd and the footbed not as comfortable. They were too wide but also too short. The footbed wasn't as fitted to the shape of my foot as the previous model, either. I wish Hoka would bring back the older version.

So I read the reviews about how big they were in the toe box butI cross my fingers and ordered anyway... if you have skinny feet or even average size feet, your foot may be swimming in these. I usually wear an 8-8 1/2 so I ordered an eight and they were a bit short but literally falling off my foot because the area where the strap is is huge with no way to adjust. I wish they had an adjustable strap like some slides do. The are very comfy though so I’m sad they didn’t work out.

I have a pair of the hoka recovery (love) and wanted another pair that are sliders...Way Way to wide, couldn't kept them on. normal wear a Med to wide shoe.

The slide was very comfortable and fit true to size in length. However, the top of the slide stood off the top of my foot and I could not comfortably keep the slide in place while walking. It was too large and designed for a much larger foot than mine. My mother, who wears the same size as I do but has a larger overall foot, tried these on and experienced the same effect with the top part being too big.
