This will replace flip flops for me as the weather gets warmer in New England, getting around and especially to the pool and beach. I have a degenerative second metatarsal (Frieberg's Disease) and must wear stiff sole rocker bottoms. Thong shoes are also a no-no. These are sturdy, and, though I haven't worn them much yet (too cold) seem comfortable. I do wish these came with a variety of stylish colors to choose from. But I am grateful these exist at all!

I would give a 5 star if o was able to send them back due to I wear a 9 but I should have gotten a 10 to have some room. I still wear them and could not return them

Sadly, I do not love these shoes. After hearing rave reviews from people that I know who wear Hoka’s, I was excited to try my first pair. I was hoping these would provide support and comfort for my feet, but they don’t have it. There is very little arch support, and a weird ridge under the ball of the foot that is very uncomfortable. The curve of the footbed does not fit the shape of my foot, so they make my knees & feet ache. I wore them a few times to see if I just needed to get used to them, but all that happened was the foam compressed and now there is less support than before. They’re comfortable if I’m sitting, but I won’t wear them if I have to be standing or walking. Not worth the price.

I was very excited to get these and really wanted to like them, but I just could not. I read and re-read the reviews and just could not believe how many great reviews that these shoes had gotten. I even ordered a size smaller than usual and they wouldn't stay on my feet. Aside from being one of the ugliest shoes that I had ever tried on, they were difficult to walk in. They went back the next day.

The problem for me was they were too wide for my feet, unfortunately. Otherwise, they would have been very supportive and comfortable to wear all day.

I ordered size 9 which normally fits or comes close. The length is near perfect, but there is more room between the top straps and my foot than I'd like as well as a smidge wider than I'd like. Also, they are higher stacked than I thought they'd be. Considering all this, I'd rather them be a little big versus small. I'm keeping these but I'll have to get used to the different feel than my beloved Birkenstock Barbados slides (water proof, too) which are the best, most comfortable slide/sandal I've ever worn in my life.

Love the feel on the bottom of my foot standing still and they have super arch support. However the shoe is so wide that I have to wear with an insole and socks to keep on my feet when I walk around the house. I normally wear a medium width. If you have a wide or thick foot, these slides are for you; therefore my reason for a 3-star rating.

I tried both the Hoka One and the Oofos and here's how theY compared: HOKA -- thicker sole -- firmer material (would probably last longer) -- more heal cushioning -- Deeply imprinted brand name in the heal was abrasive walking around and left a mark on my heal when just standing. Why not put the brand literally anywhere other than the footbed? These are not cute shoes regardless so who cares if the brand is also visible - better there that in spot that is uncomfortable/causes blisters -- the texture in the heal bed reduced sweating a bit (airflow) but was also abrasive. I'd rather it just be smooth (or very faint like the Oofos) -- narrower than the Oofos (which are quite wide), but not narrow per se. Because the material is stiffer/denser I could see the closer-fitting band over the top rubbing and being painful on toes that are at all sensitive/abraded (which mine often are from sandals)

While I think Hoka shoes are the best, I was dissatisfied with the sandals. Not enough cushion or five

I love HOKA shoes ! However this is my first purchase of many HOKA shoes that didn't work for me. It's a great brand and I wish they would bring back the One One recovery shoe. This shoe was just too big and not a comfortable fit. I returned it with no problem for a refund.

Oofos are by far more comfortable and smooth on the ball of your feet. HOKAs are hard, really not flexible on the bunion area, and around the pinkies. I will likely stick to other brands!

I was quite disppointed in this new model of the Ora slides. I have 2 pair of the Slide 1, which fit perfectly and are more attractive by far. These were a size too big and too wide. They are not flattering. I wrote the company and begged for them to return the original slide (which are now impossible to find on line, due to their popularity. I will have to send this pair back.

I own two pairs that were purchased a few years ago. They were so wonderful I also purchased several pairs for family members I ordered a new pair last month and was so upset to see they have changed. Not sure exactly how but my guess is more plastic and less rubber. The slides that were my absolute go-to favorite (clouds for my sore feet) are now unusable! Please bring back your original recovery slide

The original Ora Recovery Slide was somewhat wide, but this 2nd version is so wide it would not even fit wearing socks. I don't know what the designers were thinking, but I do not have a narrow foot but find these shoes unwearable. They seem made for men with wide feet. Since the shoe length is correct, I can't even try a smaller size. I really loved my Ora version 1's, and was so looking foward to having these too, since I think these are more attractive.

I cannot believe this happened to me again! This time I ordered a different color and still got one shoe larger and one shoe smaller somehow. The bottoms of both pairs said 7W. I originally had the blue pair and love them so much I wanted another pair to wear outside of the house. As you can see from the pictures below the blue 7W is nice and roomy on me and both shoes are the same size.

I love my Hoka sneakers/shoes - the Bondi7 and Toa hiker - so of course i had to try these Recovery Slides. I sent them right back. They are made for gigantic feet in both width and height. They were SO big there must've been at least an inch gap between the top of slide and the top of my foot!! With they were adjustable but since they are not they are only going to fit big wide feet with high arches... not for me!

These new plastic slides are terrible. Slippery, way too wide, and they do not feel or function like the older recovery slides. Returning. Bring back the previously used materials -- these suck!

I'm SO disappointed. I bought a pair of these 3 years ago. They were the most comfortable shoe I'd ever worn. I recommended them to all of my clients and my family. They are finally starting to wear down and need to be replaced so I ordered a pair for me and two other family members. I received them two days ago. There's nothing comfortable about them now. They're hard as a rock and actually hurt my skin. You've clearly changed manufacturers. They were a great shoe. What a shame.
