The fit and support in this slide is "excellent"! I could NOT believe how comfortable this slide is! Traditionally, I used the Crocs shoe as my "inside" shoe because it is easy to slide on and has the rubber sole, which is good for wood stairs and floors because it grips the surface and diminishes the chance of slipping on a shiny wood floor surface. I have an ongoing problems with calluses in the ball of my foot because I'm older and (like the article said) the fatty tissue in that area has thinned out with age and created the recurrence of calluses which eventually feel like walking on a stone all day. The Recovery Slide 2 has solved the problem for me. The EXCELLENT arch support, and the "Earth Shoe" style of positioning the heel of the foot in it's natural stance has ALLEVIATED this problem. I find that when I'm wearing these slides, the pressure is taken off the ball of my foot and the extra cushioning of the foot bed makes my entire foot feel comfortable. I LOVE them and would like to buy more in alternate colors.

Seriously, like walking on a cloud. Not the most fashion-forward, but the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned.

I've worn all kinds and brands of slide 'recovery' sandals for decades. These are without question the most cushy can comfy, ever. IF I were to ask for one change, it would be to make half sizes available. I wear a 9.5 in every style of shoe, and ordered a 9 in these recovery slides. They fit well enough, but are just a tad short. Otherwise, I LOVE them and will order more in other colors.

I have plantar fasciitis and this has made a huge difference. I start my day with these shoes and use after every run. I no longer have the foot issues that I had before. My goal was to ensure that I did not get a cortisone injection and with the improvements I've made, I don't think I'll need one now or later.

I wear these shoes every day for comfort due to my neuropathy in my feet and low back pain. Also had total knee replacement surgery recently and it really provides support for my knee.

These are quite aggressive, as far as the shaped midfoot support. They really do take stress off the plantar & arch areas, and are extremely pillow-y feeling. Hoka, and some reviewers, suggested to size down, but my normal size 7 was perfect. The size 6 was much too short and tight across the toes.

first sandal found that actually has sufficient cushioning. I suffer with ball of foot pain, arch and sometimes heel pain, after years of running and high impact exercise. I can wear these for hours without any pain!!! I alternate Hoka Bondi 6 with recovery sandal. So happy to have discovered HokaOne!!!!

I wear an 8.5 in the Hoka Bondi but half sized aren't available. Based on other reviews, I went with an 8 and they are perfect. They are like c the Bondi version of slides!

Awesomely comfortable sandals. My feet are quite picky when it come to shoes but they have no complaints with the sandals. I have plantar faciitis and a cranky peroneal tendon in my right foot. The shoes keep the issues at bay. When walking, they have a "rolling" feel. Will definitely buy again.

The women's slides only come in medium width and they are on the wide side. I usually ordered wide shoes and these are even a bit too wide for me. But I like them so I just wear thicker socks with them around the house.

Love the recovery slide ,but wish it came in wide sizes. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars. Feels a bit snug for my wide foot.

The arch support is GREAT! I have plantar fasciitis pretty bad, and needed something that was not flat. I would have given a rating of 5 stars if the footbed was softer. I was expecting the delicious comfort like OOFOS. Definitely going to keep because of the stress off my heel. These are for around the house with socks in the winter anyway (since I cannot find slippers with good enough arch support).

I bought these to wear around the house on my tile floor, they work for that purpose. The width of the slide itself the top portion that goes over your foot has too much room between your foot and the slide. Makes it kind of sloppy. I did keep them because they're just for around the house it's almost like they are unisex and made to fit a man's wider foot?? Maybe if I down size it would fit better?

I bought these for my mom. She is 65 with heel spurs, bunions, osteoarthritis, flat feet, and plantar fasciitis. Additionally, she recently fractured her ankle. I also bought the recovery flip flips, but these were the winners. Mom loved them, said these were the most comfortable slides she's had. She is an 8.5/wide and I did have to size up to a size 9 because the 8 was too tight. They do look better online, than in person. They are actually pretty ugly slides, but when you're in pain, vanity is pushed to the back burner. They do what I need them to do, which is help mom not feel pain. Would buy them again and would recommend them.

I normally wear a 6-6 1/2, so I ordered a 6. My foot fit perfectly, but the arch support didn't line up with my high arch. So I returned it and ordered a 7. The arch support is in the perfect place now, though the shoe is a little roomy. But I can live with that. It's very comfortable. I have a bone spur on the back of my heel and this is the perfect slipper for it.

These are extremely wide. I called Zappos to get a smaller size and they said I had ordered a men’s 10 and the very nice representative suggested they send me a women’s 10. The women’s ten was actually bigger! I sent them back and kept the first shoe which I slosh around in. Nowhere on the shoe itself is it marked a man’s or woman’s size. I suspect they are unisex. But the shoes are mounded and each one seems to be a little different from the next one- mostly due to upper part being so very high (sometimes high, sometimes even higher). I kept the first ones but will try to find another brand that is better for a narrow to medium foot next time around.

The original slide was a bit more comfortable, not as wide comes off foot while walking sometimes, and the old ones said the name HOKA on top, new ones don't have name on them just symbol you can't see.

I have a wide foot and have trouble finding shoes to fit. These shoes are much too wide even for my foot. The length is good, but my foot slips a lot in it due to the width so these sadly need to go back. Besides being too wide, the show is comfortable. Is a bit cushiony, but not too much. Has a nice firm and supportive feel. The rocker would take a bit to get used to, but it's not a super severe rocker. The material is more playing than rubber. Might get sweaty in summer and slippery when wet. I normally wear women's 10.5W or 11M, I ordered 11M.
