The fit was excellent. Very padded bottom for all day and walking foot relief. Only downside is that the black fabric came off on my feet and when worn with white sock the black dye was apparent.

This shoe was almost perfect, but the area it wasn't, was the deal breaker, and deciding factor for returning the shoes. The toe box was wide enough, the arch was in the right spot for my feet. The problem area is the heel. The heel slipped badly. I took a heal pad and wrapped it in plastic wrap and put it in the shoe to see if this would solve the slipping problem, but alas it did not Part of the problem is the back of the shoe stretches, which is great for putting the shoes on. However, it is not great for the fact that it also stretches to accommodate the heel pad, so the pad doesn't work. With the shoe being so well fitting in all other areas, which is unusual for my feet, I was disappointed to send the shoes back. The heels slipped enough that keeping the back of the shoe on was difficult, and I was concerned that the constant slipping would cause blisters. If the heel didn't slip, I would not have hesitated to keep these shoes.
The arch support was good but not as good as with my Hoka One One Bondi 6. The foot bed, however, was well cushioned.

These casuals were really comfy, nice and squishy just like my Hoka Clifton 3’s that I now have to find on the secondary market. Talk about being ruined for all other shoes! However, as comfy as they are, I just can’t come to terms with the uppers. They look too much like water shoes, and I suspect that the fabric won’t outlast the soles. If you are very athletic, you can probably pull off the look. As for fit, they are true to size. Hoka One One rules, so be confident with your purchase.

Very comfortable. Wanted to wear sockless but too much slipping. Works well with socks. A half -size down would be perfect for me.

I learned the hard way that your feet actually grow as well as swell during pregnancy. I got these shoes to bring me support and a to have a cushy sole during my pregnancy. It was even more of a perk to have them slip on and not have to figure out how to tie my shoes. These are exactly what I needed and although I wish they were a bit more wide, the mesh is stretchy so its all good so far. I also haven't had any issues with my heel slipping.

I have the Ora Recovery Flip in a size 9 and it is perfect. I checked with Customer Service about what size I should order for the Ora Recovery shoe, and they said definitely keep to a size 9. The size 9 was a perfect fit EXCEPT for the top elastic which was tight, unforgiving and uncomfortable. I was so disappointed - I wanted the Recovery shoe to wear when we travel, since I have foot and knee problems and in the Recovery Flip I don't! But the tight elastic was definitely a no-go - it even left a red indentation on my instep/ankle. FYI, my regular shoe size is a 9.5B/M and I do not have fat feet or ankles! I really hope that Hoka fixes this problem and re-issues a new, improved Recovery shoe so that I can travel in comfort.

These shoes are great for throwing on your feet when you need an all day casual comfy shoe! I will say they seemed to run big, but since they don't come in half sizes I chose to stick with the size I ordered for fear that going down a whole size would then be too small.

These are pretty darn nice, but they seem a hint bigger than the recovery slides I own so one foot wanted to come out of the shoe under speed (especially with a sock on). My local shoe store that also sells Hoka assisted me in fine tuning these so I don't have to go through the hassle of a return. No more problem. I usually wear a size 8.5-9 US. These run in whole sizes so if you are a little large in a 9 normally I'd try the size down. They also fit a wider foot as well.

Bought the recovery slide first to wear around the house and LOVED them. Bought these as an alternative to Bondi 6 after foot surgery (recommended by podiatrist). For me, these run big as do all Hokas. I normally wear a 6 and have to buy a 5 in Hokas. This particular Hoka shoe is comfortable and cushy except for the elastic around the ankle which is quite tight. I recommend these to anyone who has foot pain. At least give them a try. I have spent hundreds of dollars on shoes that I cannot wear.
I wish Hoka would offer more size 5s since they seem to be a very limited size. Also, it would be nice if a "dressier" or at least a less clunky shoe were offered for folks who almost have to wear Hokas 24/7.
Thanks!

I originally got the 8, I wear a 7.5-8.0 ... it ran very big. I sent those back and got the 7's. Surprisingly they slip a little. I'd let customers know that they're not true to size. I also purchased the running shoes and they strained the heck out of my foot. They pinch the sides and squeeze in. My boyfriends did as well. We're avid runners and were stoked to try the runners... but we're sadly disappointed.

I love the look of these shoes! From previous reviews I thought these might become my "house shoes." You know, to wear exclusively INSIDE the house. The reviews assured me they'd be cute and comfy, and when I slipped them on I thought I was going to be in love with them. Sadly, after walking a few steps, my left foot kept slipping out of the shoe. I know, weird.
Anyway, I will be returning this pair. But id still recommend them.

Note - only comes in full sizes. My other Hokas are 7&1/2, so that may be why these feel large. Bought for a tourist trip to the Philippines, Japan and China. Covered lots of Manila, Osaka, Kyoto and Bijing in these shoes to include climbing on the Great Wall. My feet never hurt, and no blisters (did wear socks). Very light weight whihc was important since I only had a single carry on. Style is a bit dressier than most shoes of this comfort level and I felt comfortable wearing them with a long skirt. Because the base is larger than the actual footbed, I initially caught the edges, especially on stairs, until I adjusted to the shoe.

I Love my new recovery shoe. Can't wait to get my Bondi 6's. I have severe arthritis in my hips and even greater lower back pain from 3 previous spine surgeries. I can't count how many shoes I've purchased and they have all failed to help my pain while on my feet. Although no shoe will help me completely these are the most helpful. So far these shoes have been the most comfortable. The only complaint is the heel is quite loose, my heel flops around a good bit. To alleviate the heel issue I fold the heel of shoe down and wear them like slip on mules. I like the upper material, it allows your feet to breathe. Only time will tell if these shoes help my hip while on my feet for extended amount of time.

I usually wear an 8 in Hoka. I have Hoka Bondi and Hoka Speedgoat 3 WP .
I first ordered an 8 in these Reveoery slip ons and the were HUGE!
So I exchanged them for a 7 and they are fit well.. A little snug in the width, but I'm keeping them.
I have alot of hardware in my leg from a bad break...so I need the plush cushioning!
I have the older versions of Hoka Recovery slip on...I use them as slippers in my home as we have no carpet at all..only hardwood and tile floors. Tough on the feet, legs and back !
They are ok, but have thin soles.
The newer version of the Hoka Recovery slip on is much better! Much more plush! Better on my joints!
Keeping them, but a little snug..wish there 1/2 sizes...

These shoes are really a luxury. They're SO comfy to put on after a work-out, to give your feet a rest. They are NOT for a run or a work-out. They are truly a "recovery shoe." And orthotics fit nicely in them.

These by far are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I do have three pairs of Hoka running shoes as well. My only complaint with these is they smell after wearing.
