Literally the best support running shoes I've ever had. They glide me across the street and support over pronating very well. I seem to be able to run a little faster then then gaviato 1s. Highly recommend.

I am a walker and while these shoes are advertised as running shoes they have worked well for me as a walking shoe and these replaced a pair that were just over a year old that will now be relegated to the mowing shoe status. Theses are the most comfortable shoe of any of the major brands and I have tried most of them over the last three decades. I would recommend a half size larger than most other brands.

I am thoroughly happy with this shoe, it seems to have reduced my foot pain and this is the second pair I have purchased. I plan to get a third pair. I have already recommended these shoes to several friends.

Walking, running, and also somehow great for tennis. This shoes keeps my feet from rolling over. One thing I miss in this shoe is what the Arahi has which is the padding for runs, but overall this shoe doesn't disappoint as a stability shoe.

I walk for PT and fitness at a very brisk pace. This shoe is comfortable, little to no break in needed to feel I could wear for my brisk daily walks.

I'm a Surgical Technologist who stands on my feet 10-14hrs a day. I use to having to switch out my shoes every, 2-3days simply from the "break-in" process and length of time. This sneaker had about a day to a day and half break-in and by day three I was still feeling like I was on clouds. I also noticed that pretty much every one of my co-workers, Surgical Technologist and Nurse alike, has a pair. It's definitely the best investment in my feet I've spent in a long time. I'm on the waitlist for the hiking boot because I need a little bit more ankle support but I'm completely happy with my my purchase!

I really like the fit of this shoe. The laces stay in place and don't slip like my previous shoes. I have high insteps and arthritis, and on my feet a lot, and these shoes are comfortable morning and night.

I've been very impressed with my Gaviota 2nd gen's. Ever since I got my first pair of these, I have completely abandoned my Aasics and Brooks, and never looked back. I'm a road runner. I do anywhere from 5k to 4 miles, 3x a week, which doesn't sound like much to a marathon runner, but I'm also a boxer, so I have to take care of my feet and joints while running so that I don't feel like absolute crap when I go do my other training. These shoes have been a godsend. I run on the outsides of my feet, so I normally require a stability shoe. However, the Gaviota's have very good cushioning, and something about the shape of the shoe makes it very supportive and comfortable for me while running. They absorb SOOO much shock.
They fit true to size, and I love the purple color. There's really no break-in period. They're supple and lightweight. I'm constantly checking for deals on these shoes so that I can stay stocked up for when I wear out the current pair I'm on.

My first pair I purchased at a retail store and found that the Gaviota helped my plantars fasciitis. I tried another brand that was on the doctor's list but found that it aggrevated my foot. From now on I am sticking to the Hoka brand. I can not say enough about how good these shoes are. All I can say is I Highly Recommend.

These are the only running shoes I wear now!
A podiatrist recommended these after I cracked my sesamoid a little over a year ago, and I’m so glad that I tried them. They are a good balance of stability (I overpronate) and cushiness. I run about 25-30 miles each week and I love doing so in these shoes!

Walking in the hills of Upper Makakilo, 10000 steps per day. The shoes lasted more than three months, then started showing signs of wear on the outer sides. Math says it's 1,000,000 comfortable steps, very good, buying the same shoes again!
