I absolutely love these sneakers! I suffer from foot pain and usually have to buy special insoles for my shoes, but these Hokas are so well-designed and offer great support so I don’t need special insoles. I think the color and style is cute too!

Wow. That's all i can say. I have the most difficult feet in the world....Ladies size 11, i under pronate, i have major bunions, i've had stress fractures, etc. I don't think i've ever found shoes that fit so flawlessly as these. Literally out of the box and onto my feet and i was in heaven. That never happens! What a major difference from the worn out cheap sneakers i was wearing prior to these! Money well spent. Already took them for a spin on an evening walk tonight and they were great. For me, these were true to size and I did not need to size down as some reviews suggest. Five stars all the way. The blue color is great!

These shoes have been an excellent choice for me. I have arthritis in my feet and have custom inserts I use. With my previous shoes I had very achy feet every day. I have much less pain at this point. These are well made and look marvelous!

I'm living in Florida, I'm a chef and often I'm on my feet and hard tile floors and these shoes allow me the support and comfort to support my lifestyle.

I bought these on the recommendation of my podiatrist and they are terrific. Fit well, lightweight, and keep my feet cool. And look good too.

I have wide width feet and need extra cushion. These are perfect for running and general working out and light weight lifting, jumping rope, etc. I don't use them for heavy weightlifting because the extra cushion isn't suitable for stable weightlifting. My orthotics fit perfectly. I love these shoes!

This is my 4th pair of Akasa's. I wear them every day for walking around the city, for tennis and sometimes for running when I don't have my Bondi's handy. Great all around shoe with enough cushion for my very high arch feet.

I had to buy good shoes after having ankle surgery. These were a great choice! They're so supportive and feel wonderful. These will be the only athletic shoes I buy from now on!

Love the shoes. I wear them for Jazzercise, and they provide the stability and cushioning I need. I will be tossing my other athletic shoes and will only buy Hoka from now on.

I have two major foot issues that reoccur if I don't wear supportive shoes, Plantar Fasciitis and Morton's Neuroma. This brand was recommended, ordering shoes online is risky, there is much choice in this brand, much selection available. I ordered a size larger than usual and the fit is ideal!
I'd also recommend:
New balance also recommended by my physical therapists with special inserts added.

These shoes were a Christmas gift and an awesome one at that. I wore them for one day and put them away for when I start back to work. On average I walk 15 to 20 miles and these shoes, in fact all my Hoka One One shoes have saved me from having to get shots in my hips! My orthopedic surgeon suggested this brand and I thank God every day that he did!!!!

I chose these sneakers hoping they would do better than the first pair I purchased two years ago. They did NOT disappoint! I'm hard to fit, with very high arches, long toes, and now with arthritis in a joint in my right foot. Although I'm now relegated to walking and weight lifting as opposed to running or higher intensity sports, these sneakers perform perfectly. I really could not be happier. Zero pain!!

I'm glad I finally did! The fit is amazing and my ankles aren't hurting so bad. I work on my feet for 10k-13k steps a day, just at work and these keep my feet feeling great!!

I bought my first pair of Hoka because I am no longer able to go to the gym, due to covid. Instead, I am walking 10k steps a day, sometimes 15K+. So I needed a good sneaker for heavy duty walking. I really love these! They feel different than any other sneaker I have ever walked in. Something about the heel propels your foot forward when you walk. There is the perfect amount of cushion for comfort. I found the fit true to size (versus Nike or Under Armor which seem to run a little small). Also, they aren't too wide, but accommodate my bunion on my left foot. My Asics - which are super comfy, but look a little orthopedic or Forrest Gumpish. Hoka feels more stylish without giving up the comfort!

I've been wanting to try this Akasa for quite some time but have experienced Hoka's sizing to be very erratic and just didn't know what size to order. I normally buy a size 10 in athletic shoes because I prefer to wear a more cushioned sock. I saw that Zappos recommended sizing down on this shoe, so I ordered a 9. It was perfect! I'm really happy with the style, the comfort and the gray color. So happy that I'm planning to order another color! Thanks Zappos...you're the best!!

Bought it because I read it's good for people with back pain. It has great cushioning and it looks awesome ( a bit big but it's ok ). I could walk 5 miles non stop without fatigue. Will buy another color soon.

I am usually a size 5 in shoes and 5.5 in running sneakers. I ordered a size 5.5 in the Akasa, but they were too long, even with thick socks. I ordered the Bondi 6 in size 5 instead because the tread on the Bondi 6 seems like it will be better for walking on trails. The Akasa seemed like they would be great on concrete or hard smooth surfaces.
