I was very close to surgery because my feet hurt SO bad, after wearing the Hoka's for one day my feet have NEVER hurt again, even in the mornings. I will wear nothing else.

Since I have been wearing these shoes my foot problems have totally gone away, Drs were treating me for Plater fasciitis and the whole time it was a sciatic nerve problem. By wearing the plush type shoes my feet are back to normal, have no more foot pain and now own 4 pairs of these shoes and also the flip flops for after work.

I've been looking for a shoe that has good lateral stability, a fairly smooth sole that doesn't catch or stick on the floor in cardio classes, and cushioning for high-impact movements like burpees, vertical jumps, and jacks. This shoe is the closest I've come in a long time.

I used to run all the time. Then I had some trouble with my Achilles. I had to stop completely and I could barely walk. Hoka Ones have allowed me to get to what I love! These are my third pair! I have loved them all!

I work on a really dusty grimy concrete floor and these shoes make it easier on my feet.

I use these sneakers everyday. I have plantar fasciitis and metatarsalgia, and these have given me some relief from the pain.

I haven't run on pavement in a while but am thinking about trying it again thanks to this shoe. I loved the Clifton 1, but later versions not so much. Tried the Bondi 6 but cushion was not as soft, plus it was so bulky and looked pretty orthopedic, except for the jazzy color options, which saved it for me. Akasa shoe is sleek and soft and not cumbersome. I hope HOKA might come out with peppier color options (BUT NOT GAUDY). If not, I'm fine with the dark shadow and gray versions! HOKA, please don't modify this shoe. If you must, let purchasers know how it differs from the previous version. Thanks.

I wear one of my pairs of HOKA's almost everyday - for my morning run and into the office!

I joined the gym almost a month ago, and needed some good shoes for walking on the treadmill. I have Achilles tendonitis in both feet and some mild plantar fasciitis in both as well. A good friend of mine as well as my podiatrist recommended Hokas. I had decided that I was going to order the Elevons, but the Akasas caught my eye. From the first time I put them on, they have been very comfortable. I have been wearing them everywhere and love them! I will still probably order the Elevon or the Stinson in the future. They are very stylish as well. The most comfortable shoes I have worn to date. I did add a gel heel lift to mine, and it made them wear even better. I would definitely recommend!

I'm a walker with multiple foot issues, and my doc has recommended that I wear only Hokas, adding arch-supporting insoles. This is my fifth pair, and it's a great addition -- if summer ever reaches Chicago, these will be perfect, as they're going to provide great keep-cool ventilation in addition to remarkable comfort and awesome good looks. And, by the way, if you haven't tried the recovery slides yet -- do so. You'll be in for a delightful, super-comfortable surprise.

I've been a Hoka One One customer for 5 years, and these are my favorite shoes to date. I have narrow feet with high arches, and struggle with foot pain. Hoka shoes have allowed me to continue running and playing tennis. I also have Bondi 6 and Clifton 5's, but these shoes are better looking and just as comfortable as both of those styles. I also appreciate the neutral colors offered here.

Right out to the box, I put them on and was surprised at the feel, Started wearing and loved them. Cradled my foot like a baby. It really felt that good. I have 9 pair of Hoka's and this is by far the best feeling shoe I have experienced. I wear this shoe all the time, walking at work, running 1/2 marathons, 5K's, exercise, running daily errands. The fit seems a tad big, but still comfortable, and not bulky. Color is great, goes with everything from exercise clothes to everyday wear. I really liked the Clifton 3, but somehow can't find them, but this shoe is wonderful. Will have to order more before they seem to disappear from stock. use to be an asic wearer, but Hoka's changed all that. I will never go back, I'm a HOKA ONE ONE lifer...

I had two foot surgeries on the same foot. The second one was through the bottom. Walking again after recovery, what I thought was scare tissue was actually bone. Dr. recommended a stable, plush Hoka and this one is wonderful! It ran big, so exchanged for half size smaller.

I have purchased many of the Hoka one one shoes, The Akasa is the 8th pair of Hoka's I have. I first got the Clifton 3, loved, loved, loved, them. This recent purchase of the Akasa is absolutely wonderful. Right out of box, they felt like they cradled my foot (like a baby), they were comfortable. I walked around in them for 3 days then ran a 5k. I have been having problems with my toes on my left foot going numb, but with these shoes I had no problem. The way they support, and feel are just superior. I'm a Hoka Lifer......I will not purchase any other shoes than Hoka OneOne! I've even converted my husband, daughter, and several from church, and they all love them as well.

I've worn the Clifton 5s for the past few months. I've been struggling with plantar fasciitis for 2 years & have tried everything. Hoka shoes are the ONLY shoes I've been able to wear all day and not end up limping by the end of the day. I just got the Akasa style yesterday & wore them all day today. I'm very pleased so far. The dark shadow color is great & will go with everything. They seem to be very cushiony too. I still love the Clifron 5, so I plan to switch them back & forth.

This is a really nice shoe, but contrary to other reviews, I found it runs true to size, not big. I usually wear a 7 or 7-1/2 in sneakers and ordered these in. 6-1/2. I will definitely reorder in my usual size and return these.

I ordered wide to accommodate arch support. Forefoot was roomy enough but the heel cup was too lose causing too much slippage.

I liked all the aesthetics of the shoe. I’ve been wearing the biondi for a couple of years. I thought I would switch it up by choosing a different style. They don’t have the extra cushioning that the biondi has and my feet and knees missed that. Guess I’m spoiled.
