Very comfortable. Lots of cushioning. Perfect for someone who walks a lot.

This is absolutely the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. The current shoe is the second pair of Hoka One One I own, and I needed a second pair as I wear this shoe ALL the time. Thank you for finally making a shoe that fits, has great support, and can be worn for any casual occasion.

These shoes are so awesome. I love them!!! They give me great support and feel like I’m walking on a cloud. I usually wear a 7 but in hokas a 6.5. The 6.5 was a little bit too big but I’ll probably keep them.

I ordered this sneaker after much research and trying different styles of Hoka One One in a store. I ordered both the size 10M and the 9.5M. FYI, I almost always wear a 9.5M/B in sandals, shoes, etc. I have had 5 knee surgeries plus flat feet from birth that are getting more troublesome as I age. Have tried custom orthotics and all they did was cause a long blister all along what exists of my arch. So I was looking for comfort, support and a lighter weight sneaker. The Hoka Akasa fits that bill perfectly! I was actually able to walk for 15 minutes on my treadmill - and I haven't been able to do that for a few years! The 9.5M fit exactly with enough room in the toes. No rubbing on my ankles, no pain even after I take them off. I'm in love and highly recommend exploring the Hoka One One brand if you have foot and knee problems like I do.

My daughter usually uses orthopedic inserts, but with these shoes, she doesn't even need them! She loves how they feel, and loves how they look.

I recently had foot surgery and was having difficulty finding a pair of shoes that felt good. These shoes are amazingly comfortable with great support. There also ok looking. I actually am going back and buying them in another color as well. Quite happy with them.

Overall, I love the clean design and lightweight feel of these shoes. I bought them for walking and they feel quite comfortable. There's a bit more arch support than I prefer (but then I prefer none) so others might find it to be spot on. My only caveat is the sizing. I almost always wear a 9 but I had to return those and get the 8.5 size, which is perfect. Thank goodness Zappos makes exchanges super easy, but still you don't want to have to jump through an extra hoop if you don't have to. Anyways, these Hokas are nice and roomy in the toe box. By comparison, I usually buy Brooks Adrenalines but I find the styling on those is a bit too busy -- however the tread is better for trail walking which I do a lot of so these will be more of my street walking shoes. Uh, that came out wrong somehow but you get the idea.

I don't think I have another pair of shoes so comfortable that I forget I am wearing them. Cushion-y yet supportive. How do they do that?

As others have said, they are very cushioned--like walking on a cloud. I am generally a 9-9.5, and the 9.5 was very comfortable right out of the box. Plenty of room in the toe box. I like the true navy color without crazy graphics on the sides. I can deal with the little pink wing design ;-

So light weight and comfortable. The light color is great for the Spring time.

These shoes are my favorite! They have the perfect support for my plantar fasciitis (I wear them with inserts).
