I an an aging but active athlete, and seem to have or have had about every foot ailment possible. Worst is ongoing plantar faciitis. Also have wide foot and very high arches. Have a large collection of insoles and try every shoe out there. These are the only shoe that lets me take the first morning steps without pain. The cushion is amazing and I think, allowing my feet to heal. I'm a solid 13 4E, and the 13's were too big. The 12's are good sole size, a little tight at the strap, but still 5 star.

I used this as a house shoes , I have plantar fasciitis and this really ease my pain daily

I've worn Asics Gel Kayanos for years but they are not nearly as comfortable as my new Clifton's ( and I'm not saying this because my wife's maiden name is Clifton). It's a well made, well finished pair of shoes.

They felt a little slick and too big straight out the package. A day of walking in them around the house and they settled in, just on this side of amazing.

I bought these recovery shoes for myself originally, then my daughter, then most recently my husband. That is how comfortable and completely refreshing they are!

I've spent the past six years searching for shoes that provide pain relief while each passing year my feet, heels, and knees worsened. Went through six weeks of PT a year ago. Spent $375 on custom fit orthotic inserts. Stretch and exercise. Nothing worked. One trip to the grocery store and the rest of my day was done; feet up. Ice, heat, bandages, support socks. NOTHING worked. Then August 18, 2020 I went (for the umpteenth time) to a shoe store with a slim hope there might be an answer. The salesperson recommended the Hoka Recovery Sandal. I was skeptical. Then I walked around in them for a few minutes. The feeling was phenomenal. Different. Glorious. But I was still skeptical. Figured they'd feel good for a day or two then fail me like every pair of shoes I've ever bought, but for now, they were worth the nominal price. Little did I know these shoes would literally change my life for the better. It's been 49 days and I now call them my magic shoes. I can do all my errands every day now. I am able to go back to work. I was scheduled to get steroid shots in my knees next week and I've canceled the appointment. My knees, hips, back all "fixed" so to speak. Because I'm walking normally now. I stand up straighter. I feel more rested. I walk more. I feel healthier. Now that it has gotten colder, I bought the Hoka Clifton shoe and have worn them several times and it's wonderful to walk without pain. I just packed up the 25 pairs of shoes and sandals in my closet to donate as I will wear nothing else except a Hoka brand shoe. The technology WORKS. Now design a recovery sandal with a closed toe for cold weather. These are the best shoes in the history of shoes! THANK YOU!!!

By far, the most versatile and most comfortable slide I'm ever had.

I was skeptic about how these would work after reading several reviews that stated that they were stiff or weren't what they were expecting. I have to say they are exactly what I thought they would be. They are comfortable with a bit of squish for achy feet but also retain their shape since they are a bit more rigid then what you would expect. Would definitely buy again but I would prefer a thong sandal vs. the slide

My first step in the morning is taken wearing these sandals and they greatly relieve the discomfort I had in the morning from plantar fasciitis. They fit snugly but it feels supportive.

So comfortable. My go to shoe other than work.

The Hoka shoes are a great product. I've been in police work for over 38 years. I developed severe pain in both feet. I went to the Podiatrist who diagnosed me with Planter Fasciitis. The Doctor started a regiment of steroids shots in the bottom of both feet. The injections were temporary and after a week later I would start experiencing severe pain again. My coworker who are a marathon runner told me to try the Hoka sneakers. To make a Long story short I'm a very proud owner of 9 pairs of Hoka Sneakers and Slides . Not only did the Hoka help me with my severe pain, they also avoided me from having foot surgery. I now recommend purchasing Hoka to all of my family and coworkers. thanks for this great product.

Like the slides! Light weight with lots of cushion for your feet! Like you are walking on foam rubber.

I have neuropathy in my feet so walking in these sandals provides extra cushion and support. And they look kinda cool.
