Tried these vs. the Oofos recovery sandals. I am a huge fan of the Hoka running shoes (I have owned several pair and will continue to buy them). However, the Oofos sandals had better cushioning and better arch support than the Hokas.

I have about 10 pair of Hoka shoes and hiking boots. All are size 10 and fit the same and perfect. On these I needed a size 9.

After coming home from my 2nd visit to the podiatrist, I'm regretting this purchase big time. The doctor took one look at the slides and pointed out how the heel of the slides is slightly lifted off the ground compared to the rest of the slide. This causes my heel to sink lower than the rest of my foot, adding extra strain to my achilles. Needles to say, I'm on my 4th week of being very limited on my feet (the first 2 weeks of this I couldn't hardly walk) and very frustrated as my issues now are much worse than when I bought the slides. My doctor said to give them to someone I don't like...

I have been suffering from chronic plantar fasciitis for over two years now, and I was previously wearing a flipflop designed for plantar fasciitis suffers for around the house. I was being bothered by the thong aspect between my toes and some ankle impingement issues (it was rebuilt 25 years ago, so the arthritic component is not lost on me). I needed an alternative and this slide was an answer...to my prayers! I wear these exclusively indoors at home and my feet are definitely happy about it. I no longer have any impingement issues in the ankle, my pf seems to be...dare I say, healing...albeit slowly.

These sandals have a great amount of cushion. I usually wear size 15 but size 14 was a better fit for me so i recommend buying 1 size smaller. Great sandals for recovery especially if u have any PF or foot problems.

If buying these sildes i woud reccomend buying down 1 size. I wear a size 10W and after reading the reviews I bought down 1 size. They fit perfectly in length and width. Extremely comfortable with great arch support. Feels like your walking on a cushion of air. I am thinking about getting another pair. There worth the price,

Bought both the Hoka One One Ora Recovery recovery slide 2, the Hoka One One Recovery Flip, the Hoka One One Hoka Gaviota 2, and the Hoka One One Challenger Low GORE-TEX®. All 4 were AMAZING!!! Sent the Challenger back and kept the other 3 for my husband who was having a total knee replacement in a few days. Our daughter had suggested Hoka's. In the medical setting, her friends who wore Hoka's never looked back after buying their first pair. My husband, who was a 10 on the pain scale at the time he tried them on, immediately had better posture and his pain lessened. He walked better than he had in years when he tried all four pairs of shoes/slides on. Post surgery, I think he is a Hoka One One fan for life.

Despite using all the therapeutic techniques that i employed as an orthopaedist with a large running population among my patients, nothing surpassed the Hokas as a tool to get over my own plantar fasciitis.

These sandals are legit. I only use them in the house as my slippers and I absolutely love them. Cushioning = Excellent - Stability = Excellent. Light weight. Great color (fiesta and navy). I totally recommend.

I use the slide obviously for after runs. I find myself literally using them for everything. Quick trips to bring out trash, put gas, or even to run an errand. Absolutely they best slides I've ever owned.

These slides are weird. They have a very pronounced "rocker" sole, even more than the Hoka Bondi 6. When you're just standing, the heel and forefoot are not in contact with the ground, and it feels like all your weight is completely supported by the arch/instep area, which I find rather uncomfortable. I wanted cushioned slides to wear around the house, and these are find for walking around, but for cooking or doing dishes, I don't like them. I wear 11.5 in the Hoka Bondi 6 and Hupana both with Superfeet insoles. Some people said these slides run big, so I tried 11 and 12, and 12 was a better fit.

The first pair of ora recovery slides I bought were/are the most comfortable piece of footwear I have ever owned. Unfortunately something has changed and these are simply another pair of slides. Remold the originals and I'll buy 10 pairs.

So I decided to buy these slides specifically for the "recovery" term that was advertised. I wore them in the house after I got back from long runs and I will say that as a flat footed runner, I was impressed. They felt great! So great that I started wearing them during leg days in my guy. As I squatted free weights on my heals, these slides aligned all my key joints perfectly. No pain or pressure as I performed the exercise. However, one day I was walking in my neighborhood past some kids playing basketball when the ball came in my direction. As my natural reaction to attempt to catch the ball kicked in, the sudden movement caused the slides to rip and tear. I'm so disappointed in how easily these slides ripped because they were my favorite slides. I only had them a few weeks.

I bought my normal shoe size and it was too tight. I returned and changed for the next size larger. I use the shoes for walking and once I got the larger size they are very comfortable.

Absolutely love these slide sandals! I bought a pair of the “Hoka One One Ora Recovery Slide 2” and a pair of the “Oofos OOahh Sport Sandals” to compare. The Hokas have a much firmer sole and more arch support, as the Oofas felt “squishier” and did not have a lot of support. The Oofas did have a softer feel though, but almost too soft for what I wanted, as I felt like it was easier to roll sideways in them. With the Hokas, I can air out my feet after a hike or run, but still have support and stability when walking on hard surfaces. Another thing I noticed were the much larger grooves on the footbed of the Hokas, compared to the Oofas, which I think will allow for more air flow under the foot in the Hokas.

Great sandals especially if there are lots of rocks around you. Wish they offered in 1/2 sizes though.

The are the most comfortable slide. I wear 12 in nikes but got a size 10 - do that for all my slides. The look is might be too close to a croc - downside.

I bought this shoe for indoor use. The most comfortable flop I've ever had obviously my feet. And... you can wear with socks if you like. Fantastic purchase. Now if we could get your recovery shoe in a wide.....please sometime soon.
