Size is right. But they look wider in real life than in photos. Not as streamlined as I desired. Look like orthopedic shoes. Liked the look of my other style.

The shoe has good stability. My foot over pronates and I feel comfortable walking in this style.

I am a woman but the man's style because is feels deeper and gives more stability.

Best shoes ever! Recommend to many friends and they absolutely love these shoes.

Shoe structure and support prevents pain from plantar fasciitis. Same pain relief as with Gaviota 1.

3rd pair of Hokas. By far, the best

Have been a serious Distance Walker for 15 years, and have never worn a better shoe! Extremely Comfortable and Supportive. Will only wear Hoka shoes going forward.

Love this shoe! I have the clifton 6, but needed more stability to officiate basketball. The Gaviota 2 is plush, light weight, and provides good stability for stop and go transitions. Im going to order two more pair.

My sister recommended Hoka's, and then my podiatrist did too. This is my first pair of Hoka's but won't be my last. The shoes are super comfortable with lots of room in them for my arch supports. Even though they feel roomy, my foot doesn't slide around in them. I will definitely buy Hoka's again and recommend them to my family and friends.

6'3" 280 with flat arches, this shoe has been an absolute dream. I have this model with a white sole that I wear outside of work, and the leather version for work. Now that there is an all black version, I have something other than leather I can wear at work.

Was introduced to this shoe by an iron woman as I was experiencing foot pain after mile ten, this shoe is a game changer for myself.

I love this shoe!! It is very comfortable and durable!! It does a perfect job of keeping my foot centered over the sole. I would buy it again in a second but the sole of the shoe does not provide enough traction on dirt/rocks (it's that squishy midsole that's causing the occasional slips and slides). It doesn't need anything crazy added or changed, just the rubber traction pads on the bottom extended to cover the center of the sole. Amazing shoe!

Love these shoes. After suffering for years with foot pain, after surgery and these shoes, I can actually wear sandals again...

I had tendinitis and my foot doctor told me to stop walking and find other means to exercise. This was not an option I was interested in so I followed a friend's recommendation to try these shoes. I ordered wide, since I was finding other shoes were tight and made my toes fall asleep. Well, with these shoes, I feel like the regular width would have been fine and will get this if I order another pair. But I love them anyway! I feel like I could take some pretty serious hikes and would have very secure footing, but all of my walking is on sidewalks so far. With the wide base of the sole, it is hard to roll your foot, which I seemed to do easily, even on fairly level ground. The shoes are so lightweight too!

These are SO comfortable...love them!

i love these shoes so so much. worth the investment. especially if youre like me and walk to and from work everyday. helps alleviate pain in my right foot that pronates inward. i have inserts in mine to help with my low arches

For the last 2 years the gaviota 2 has fixed more issues in my clients than any orthopedic specialists could...the reviews that say they bring pain other places GOOD you have never walked correctly before theses shoes make your joints align make you heel toe and duh that's goin to come with some changes...go get some body work like an adult and fix your issues .

Finally a shoe equal to Prospecs stability.

I am not a runner, but come from the Brooks Beast camp for daily wear since I am a heavy dude with flat feet. I am 6'3", 280 lbs. I work in parking garages and walk on concrete all day long. Just wasn't feeling it with the latest update on the Beast, so I ventured out looking for something new. Once I tried a pair of the Gaviota 2's, I was hooked! Bought the black version so at least it would somewhat pass as a "work" shoe, so those had to be ordered. Last week put 10 miles on them in one day, and fully expected to wake up the next morning with sore feet and shins. Nope! Was able to get up the next days and my legs felt great! Now that I have tried these I am ordering the leather version for work.

I have bad feet and need the stability these shoes provide.

I'm a big frame runner. I need all the cushion I can get. But also the stability to match. For you big guys out there; this is a no brainier.

Best running shoes I've ever owned. I'm military so running is literally apart of my job. Having these shoes has been an instant game changer. My endurance increased the very first time running in these shoes.
