I ordered my regular size without reading the sizing guidelines and they were huge. I exchanged for a half size smaller, as recommended, and they were perfect. I have the variety that stops my foot from rolling in and I can really feel the difference.

I've been running in gaviota s for about four years and this model is better then the first for me. I have a wide toe box but a narrow heel and this third box I feel is more flexible as I increase I mileage I don't feel a tightness that I did with gaviota . Great stability also. I played soccer for 9 years so my ankles need the support. Thanks for making a great shoe!

I'm an older runner and appreciate both the cushioning and the stability of this shoe.

Everything about this shoe is great!

I ran cross country for three years of high school and could count on foot pain every week. I would stretch and tape to attempt to prevent and treat but I came to the assumption that I had jammed my feet into too tight ski boots one too many times. Two years later, my younger sister announced to my mom and I that she wanted to run a half marathon with the two of us. When I went to buy new sneakers, the Gaviota 2 was recommended to me partially because of my wide feet. I never knew I could run without pain. That is not say that the half marathon didn't hurt, but I could actually walk that afternoon and my hips were more sore than my feet. I am so grateful for finding these sneakers and they spurred my decision to get ski boots that fit properly. My feet still hurt from time to time but it is much more manageable than it used to be.

I use wear them everyday, to yoga etc. Just makes your feet not hurt!

For running, it's a great stability shoe.

Love the support. And they have extended sizes! Great.

I have owned several pairs of Hokas before I purchased my new Gaviota 2. I love the support of the shoe and enjoy the little "spring" in my step from the cushioned soles. I'm getting ready for knee replacement surgery in a few weeks and I wanted a shoe that will give me support and comfort during my rehabilitation/physical therapy. Thanks for making such a great product! I'll let you know how my knee replacement goes!

Alleviate my food pain while im on my foot the whole day at work

I have plantar fascitis and run 10-15 miles a week. When I had the clifton's, my feet hurt a lot less while I ran, but with the gaviota 2's I'm able to run with no pain. It has seriously been so amazing having these shoes and no pain while I run, they have changed my running life!! I've had 2 pairs of these now and I will definitely being buying more when mine wear out. Definitely recommend to everyone who runs or has feet problems. Thanks HOKA!!!

OK, I went crazy buying shoes as I have gotten stronger. I just entered my second year of remission from leukemia. It's just great to walk hard and jog a little for 4 to 5 miles, 4 or 5 times a week. Believe it or not I rotate between Bondi 6's and Gaviot 2's, depending on how far or how fast I want to go that day. I also have a bad foot that I broke in five places while I was taking chemotherapy for non Hodgkins lymphoma five years ago, and couldn't get surgery. Hoka cushioning is simply the best. I started with another brand known for cushioning but after a few pair, I came back to Hoka One One. I'm here to stay. I give 5 Stars to both the product and customer service. Thanks Hoka for helping keep an old man on the road.

I have had knee problems in the past and am very flat footed. Hoka's have helped me a lot, and the gaviota 2 has been the best so far!

I had some issues with my right food. The shoe has basically done what medicines could not do. I have 3 pair in different colors for different outfits. Love it! Because of this i shoe i purchased rwo more different models from hoke and they all are perfect for every day.

Dont know why I waited so long too try this shoe is a great transition. Finally a stability shoe with Cushing. The slight rocker feels great.

Been running in Brooks Beast's for as long as I can remember...at least 10 to 15 years. I just switched to Gaviota 2. Wow. +100 miles into them and they've rejuvenated my runs. I'm averaging a full :10 per mile faster in these than I did with the Brooks. Highly recommended.

Love them! I have had a total of 4 foot surgeries. I am a nurse and always on my feet. I can wear the shoes without foot pain all day.

All around great sneakers!

I had been having issues with my foot hurting for years after a stress fracture. With these shoes, it finally feels better! LOVE THEM!!!!

This shoe has a bit more support than my Bondi's which the physical therapist (for planter faciatis) suggested. I was concerned these wouldn't feel plush enough but they're great. Maybe because I had a hard orthopedic in the Bondi's to help with support so didn't have the full Bondi cush. I've had about a month now (after having more than 5 pairs of Bondi's) and I think I'll stay with these from now on. My only question/complaint is the loop at the heel that I use to help get them on is a vertical loop, just at the rear of the heel instead of a horizontal loop that goes across the back of the heel. I find it a bit harder to get these shoes on and this may be part of the reason.

Bought these for everyday work and play, they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. I bought my first pair on black Friday and loved them so much I bought another pair when I saw they had them in black and my size online. Will definitely buy more.
