The toe box was too large and loose. Otherwise, this sneaker was really nice. I am returning them for a half size smaller because of the toe box. Hopefully, they will fit better.

I have worn Tracers in the past. Recently I've had foot issues and have tried many shoes. I finally broke down and got on the HOKA Bandwagon and I love these shoes. I've run in them three times, 4-6 miles each time, and I can't even remember the last time my hips didn't hurt after a run but they have not hurt since wearing these shoes. They also seem to roll me forward and I'm faster with less effort. Bonus.

These shoes are amazing! I did use my own inserts I received from my podiatrist. For me personally, I needed more of an arch support. They do run a tiny bit bigger. I'm normally a 6.5 and I ordered a 7 and they fit perfect. I was walking for a few hours, running some errands, before I realized I had no pain in my feet from standing and moving for hours +. They are great for running as well. No knee pain! These shoes are so worth it! Also, with the Mach 2 in all white, I get so many compliments. I love them!

Started running this year. I wore Mach's my first and second half marathons and with training miles on them I wore them out. Bought these Mach 2's for my 3rd half because they are so comfortable. I don't have the same knee, back or shin splint issues I do in other brands. These feel a bit longer than the Mach's but did not notice a difference when running. I do use my own orthotic inserts. I have not had to "wear in" either of my HOKA shoes, they are amazingly comfortable from day 1!

I stand around 12-14 hours a day 5-6 days a week and wish I would've discovered these shoes a long time ago. I have bad tendonitis and now can stand and walk pain free for most of the day.

I have been a HOKA wearer since I bought my first pair of challenger ATR's and was hooked. I have worn every model of the challenger up to date as well as Stinson's, Clifton 5's and Claytons. However I lost weight and the last couple of models of the challengers have under gone some changes that were no longer working for me. I love the Clifton's but after 10-12 miles, they were too soft. So I took all of my models with my issues that I had with each of them as well as what I liked about them to my local running store and he had me try the Mach 2 model. Out of the box, I ran in them for 13 miles and am absolutely in LOVE. They are lightweight, just the right amount of cushion and I can run for miles and miles in them. I couldn't be happier and I am really hoping that you don't change these anytime soon!

I have been running in the Clayton’s. I was a 6.5 in the Clayton’s and the size 6 in the Mach 2 fit perfect. They are light weight with a wide toe box. Good for long runs to give your feet room to breathe. If you loved Clayton’s then these are for you. Just go down half a size.

This is a great shoe; love the support, padding and look. Beware, it runs a good half size larger, so size down or it won’t fit right and rub blisters. For reference, I’m a size 9 in running shoes, but the size 8.5 was plenty big.

These shoes are incredible. They're the lightest shoes I've ever worn but somehow manage to support me flawlessly. I have shin splints and I'm so happy about these.

These shoes were not wide enough for me. They did not offer a wide option so I ordered up a half-size, which was not adequate for the width but was okay for the length. This makes me think that they may run a half size small, so order up a half size. It's a shame that women do not have the option for wide or narrow shoes in all options; unlike shoes offered for men!
I'd also recommend:
Brookes; they offer wide option for women.

The shoes are such a gorgeous colour, even more beautiful than they look on the website. However, Im usually a 6.5 in shoes, and the true fit said to get a 6 so I did. They're still too big (my right heel is slipping up and down as I walk), and I think I need a 5.5, but Im not sure if they would be too small.

I always swore I'd NEVER wear Hokas. I'm not a huge fan of cushion. I know I need it... but I need so response. This is SERIOUSLY the best shoe for someone that needs cushion but doesn't want to sacrifice too much response.

Like: Wonderful walking and everyday shoe! Very comfortable shoe in the toe area that makes long days at Disneyland easy.
Dislike: The traction was below average. A little slippery on some surfaces.

I order these shoes 1/2 size smaller after being fitted for them. I love how light they are and the cushioning......but they are expensive and I only get about 250-300 miles from them which means needing to replace every 2 months which is not reasonable......I wish I could wear the Clifton but the arch is so pronounced....that leave me with my original shoe Bondi.....they feel so heavy after the Mach.

Roomy but not sloppy. My big complaint is the tongue which is sharp, not with a padded edge, and cuts into the front of my ankles. These have otherwise been a good shoe for treadmill running and have resolved some foot pain I was experiencing.

I was a Brooks girl through and through until I started having severe issues with Morton's Neuroma last year. I was so unwilling to give up my Brooks that I tried several different pair hoping to find one that worked me. After some very extensive research, I decided to give the Mach 2 a try. I do not have a running store near me, so while on a trip to Ohio I opted to test out the Mach 2 in store. I compared them to the Brooks I used putting one of each on both feet and running around the store. To my surprise the Hokas felt better. Once home, I purchased the Hokas and took them for their maiden voyage. The first run was a 6 mile gravel/dirt road and paved road route. They did exceptional on both surfaces. I did not have any issues with my Morton's Neuroma and definitely felt the difference in the toe box. Hoka has a roomy toe box compared to the Brooks while still fitting snug around the foot and ankle. I did not experience any slippage. The HTT ration and stack are perfect for those with Morton's Neuroma as there is not a lot of pressure on the ball of the foot. After several 6-9 mile runs I was still completely satisfied. It wasn't until after running a half marathon that I noticed any issues. My one and ONLY complaint is the tongue of the shoe, specifically the very end. It is a very thin less forgiving rubber type material. As I run, the tongue pinches my skin, even more so if I have leggings on, and causes a blister. It is horribly uncomfortable. To mitigate this, I have started pulling my leggings down onto my foot since they are long enough or I put a silicone scar protect band-aid on the area to prevent the pinching. I would definitely buy this shoe again. I do hope in future models they correct the tongue issue. I think I am becoming a Hoka girl! In face, I just ordered the Hoka Torrent trail shoes and am super excited to hit the trails!

Bought for my wife, she is a nurse and on her feet 12 hours a day. After 2 weeks she loves these shoes. They do run a 1/2 size larger. So make sure you down size when ordering. Time will tell how durable these are!

I honestly expected to not like this shoe as much as I enjoyed the tracer however I have found that this shoe is responsive and provides cushion for those longer miles and hard workouts. The only reason I can't give this shoe 5 stars Is that I had to keep sizing down at the store. I am normally a 7.5 and ended up with a 6.5 in this shoe.

These are the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever worn. Unfortunately I'll be sending back. They are not true to size and run about a half size too large.
