During morning walks, these get soaked after a few minutes while walking on wet grass. The sole puts them on the heavier side of sneakers. They're slightly more water-resistant than my Adidas, Nike, etc. Don't expect something to keep your feet dry in a dousing rain.

Just got these shoes so I can't provide too many details, just initial impressions. First off, I ordered the Sage color and they were very much not what I expected - much more what I would think the Tundra color would look like. However, I'm fine with it because I prefer darker shoes anyway. Got my usual size (6.5) and they fit perfectly; the toe box is a bit roomier than I would need but not to the point of being inconvenient. The mid foot area and heel do look a bit bulky but so far they don't feel bulky. Haven't done a ton of walking in them yet but the bit I have done makes me think they won't be overly comfortable if I spend a lot of time on my feet, which is my typical workday and why I bought these. Maybe I'll grow to love them but at the moment it's less LOVE and more MEH.

Love the style and materials! Outstanding fit and comfort for a wide toe box but there is zero arch support for my very high arches. The sole of the shoes appears to be very thick and cushioned from the outside but they don't feel that way when you walk in them.

I wanted to love this shoe! Loved the color - not a bright red - definitely dusty color. It was definitely too big. Go down 1/2 a size. It was also wide in the foot for a medium width shoe. Bummed to have to return it.

I love my Sorel products, however this particular shoe was not for me. It's not very fashionable. If it were made of something other than mesh it may be more appealing to me. Just not my style. May be perfect style for others.

I really love the way this shoe looks but the tongue of this shoe is incredibly uncomfortable, it sort of folds in on itself
and creates a weird feeling bump/bulge on the top of the foot.

The length of the shoe fit fine, but it felt uncomfortably tight across top of my foot from the stitching to attach the tongue of the shoe to rest of the shoe body. Another negative is that the insert is not very supportive. It's nice though that it's removable. If it weren't tight across the top, I'd keep these shoes because they look so cool, but unfortunately, they're not for me.

I really wanted to love these as I really liked the style, but it was not meant to be. They were tight across my arch. I have bunion on my right foot and even wearing the shoe on that foot for a few minutes was painful. I LOVE Zappos - they make everything so simple - ordering and returning.

I ordered both the 9 and the 9,5 based on the multiple reviews recommending to order a half size smaller...for me, I am typically a 9.5 and the 9.5 was a perfect length for me in this shoe as well. (Thank you Zappos, for the ease of returns with your company) I’m planning on walking extensively during an upcoming trip and wanted something comfortable AND fashionable. Love the look of this shoe and it’s fairly comfortable if you keep the lace REALLY loose over your foot—but there is a horizontal seam on the tongue of this shoe that digs painfully into the top of your foot. I’m going to try moleskin over the seam to see if that helps.

I wanted to like these, I really did. I'm a Sorel gal through and through, but these just didn't look good on my foot. They felt, just OK. They were waterproof, but that wasn't enough for me to keep them. I was pretty sure I wouldn't wear them after seeing them on.

I agree with other reviewers that this shoe runs large. I usually wear an 8 1/2, occasionally a 9, I ordered an 8 and it fit well. I got the quarry suede and it's a very nice looking sneaker. However, the tongue folds in the inside of the shoe, making it very uncomfortable. Perhaps this is only an issue with the leather styles which may have thicker tongues than those with textile uppers.

I ordered my usual 8 along with a 7.5 based on reviews that they ran big. I tried them both and the 7.5 felt tight and narrow, the 8’s were too big - so back they went. Not enough arch support either even if they did fit. They were a cute style though. Back to the Sorel drawing board...

I sized up to 8.5 and wore them around the house. They were very comfy - like wearing ugg slippers. Ultimately that was the problem -- they made my feet a half inch bigger all around and walking in them was clumsy.

I checked the reviews and ordered a 9.5 and 9 (I normally wear a 9.5-10). The 9.5 was snug, enough so that socks would not be an opiton. Also moderate arch support was fine but I really wanted a little more. Shoe is good looking on I must admit.

The reviews are correct, these are at least a half size larger than described. As far as water proof, I’d say only about 80%. I walk about 3 miles a day in an urban setting and these seem like they’ll hold up in fall/winter before any serious snow. I will need to buy insoles because they have minimal rich support for my long narrow feet.

This sneakers seemed true to size, but just didn't have the arch support I was looking for. I have a narrow heel and my heel was slipping. I need something I can wear all day and I'm afraid I would get blisters. I tried to put the laces through the extra holes on the side, which usually helps shoes to keep from slipping, and it seems like these holes are just decorative. I couldn't get the laces through any of them. I really wanted these shoes to work, but they are just not as comfortable as my regular sneakers. Sadly I am returning.
